Is the ‘Bonnie Blue effect’ ruining your relationship? Study reveals the adult star’s influence is causing increasing conflict amongst couples

The key findings

* Bonnie Blue’s soaring popularity amongst men is causing real tension in relationships, with 67% of UK women saying they feel threatened by their partner’s fascination with the adult star.

* 78% of women who discovered their partner’s interest in the star said it sparked arguments, with many feeling anxious about being compared to Bonnie Blue.

* Over half of men (52%) admitted their fascination with Bonnie Blue has made them less satisfied in their current relationships, while 39% have lied about watching her content just to avoid fights.
* Study conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site.

She’s the woman everyone’s talking about – and not always for the right reasons. OnlyFans star Bonnie Blue shot to fame after allegedly sleeping with 1,057 “barely legal and barely breathing” men in just 12 hours. But while British men can’t seem to get enough of the controversial adult actress, women are far less enthusiastic.

A new poll of 1,000 women conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading affairs site, found that two thirds of women (67%)  say they feel threatened by their partner’s fascination with Bonnie Blue. The issue has become so widespread that 41% of women admitted they’d actually caught their partner watching Bonnie’s content – and for most, that discovery hasn’t gone down well. Of those women, 78% confessed it had led to arguments, showing just how much Bonnie’s influence is stirring up insecurities and disputes at home.

So why exactly is Bonnie Blue such a source of tension? Many women say it’s because she embodies qualities they feel they can’t compete with. Of the women who felt threatened by the star, a huge 76% said they felt intimidated by her confidence and experience, while 62% feared their partner was comparing them to her.

For more than half of women surveyed (54%), the concern went deeper, with worries that their partner was fantasising about being with someone like Bonnie. And for 47%, the pressure was more intimate – they admitted feeling anxious that they’d never be able to match Bonnie’s adventurousness in the bedroom.

But it’s not just women who are feeling the effects of Bonnie’s growing influence. Men are increasingly aware of the tension their interest in her is causing – and some are taking drastic measures to keep the peace.

In a separate poll of 1,000 UK men, 39% admitted they’d lied about watching Bonnie’s content just to avoid an argument. Even more concerning, nearly half of men polled (52%) confessed that their fascination with Bonnie had left them feeling less satisfied in their current relationship.

For many women, this growing obsession feels like an impossible standard to live up to. Samantha*, 32, from Manchester, knows this feeling all too well. She says she’s caught her boyfriend watching Bonnie’s videos on multiple occasions – and it’s left her questioning everything.

“At first, I tried to brush it off, but then it kept happening,” she says. “It’s like she’s everywhere, and I started to wonder if I was ever enough for him. She’s so confident and adventurous – and suddenly I felt like I had to be the same just to keep his attention. It’s exhausting, and it’s made me so insecure.”

Expert comment from Jessica Leoni

According to Jessica Leoni, sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com, this tension is becoming more common in relationships as Bonnie Blue’s star continues to rise.

“Bonnie represents the ultimate fantasy for many men – she’s confident, sexually liberated, and totally in control,” says Leoni. “But for a lot of women, that fantasy starts to feel like competition. When you’re constantly worried that your partner is comparing you to someone like Bonnie, it can take a real toll on your self-esteem and your connection as a couple.”

Leoni believes open communication is key when it comes to tackling these kinds of issues. “If Bonnie Blue is becoming a source of conflict in your relationship, it’s important to talk about it. Be honest about your insecurities and set some boundaries if you need to. The more you keep quiet, the more resentment builds – and that’s when real damage happens.”

Elon Musk crowned world’s “sexiest entrepreneur” by UK women

The key findings

* Tesla and X owner Elon Musk tops the poll, beating Dragon’s Den star Steven Bartlett and Snapchat’s Evan Spiegel.

* Other notable names in the top 10 include Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, BrewDog CEO James Watt and, controversially, US President Donald Trump who landed in 9th place.

* 2,000 women ranked 50 global entrepreneurs on their “sexiness,” with tech titans and self-made billionaires dominating the top 10.

* Poll conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site.

Elon Musk has controversially been crowned the world’s sexiest entrepreneur by UK women.

The Tesla boss and owner of X topped a poll conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading affairs site, beating off stiff competition from the likes of Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel and Diary of a CEO star Steven Bartlett.

Famed for his unpredictable personality and his increasingly polarising role in American politics, Musk’s allure clearly remains undiminished when it comes to his sex appeal as he topped the poll scoring an impressive 9 out of 10.

The UK’s very own Steven Bartlett claimed second place scoring 8.5 out of 10, proving his appearances on Dragon’s Den and podcasting charm have the ladies swooning, while Snapchat’s Evan Spiegel, whose clean-cut good looks and billionaire lifestyle have long made him a heartthrob landed him in third place.

The poll from IllicitEncounters.com involved 2,000 of its female members, who were asked to rank 50 of the world’s most famous and influential business figures from most to least sexy, scoring them between 1 and 10 based on their “sexiness.”

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos took fourth place, while BrewDog CEO James Watt, who married TV personality Georgia Toffolo in a secret Scottish wedding on the weekend, rounds off the top five.

The top 10 also saw social media giants and tech titans dominate, with LinkedIn’s Jeff Weiner in sixth, Monzo co-founder Tom Blomfield in seventh, and Farfetch founder José Neves placing eighth.

In a somewhat controversial result, Elon Musk’s “boss”, US President and business mogul Donald Trump secured ninth place, while Dragon’s Den star Peter Jones took the final spot in the top 10.

The list of 50 names featured a mix of high-profile entrepreneurs and business leaders from various industries, broken down into categories across tech, retail, media, and investment.

British entrepreneurs made a strong showing throughout the rankings, with Gymshark founder Ben Francis taking 12th place, Calm co-founder Michael Acton Smith coming in 15th place and Virgin’s Richard Branson placing 18th. Alan Sugar’s appeal, on the other hand, appears to be waning despite his non-nonsense attitude on ‘The Apprentice’, coming in last.

Other notable tech billionaires rated by UK women included Apple’s Tim Cook who landed in 28th place, while Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was further down the list coming just 39th.

Expert comment from Jessica Leoni

Jessica Leoni, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, commented on the results saying, “Elon Musk’s victory has come as quite a surprise considering how much of a controversial figure he’s become lately, but the sheer level of his appeal shows just how much women are drawn to powerful, unpredictable men with money. His mix of intellect, wealth, and risk-taking clearly makes him irresistible. Add in his penchant for drama and his relentless ambition, and you’ve got the ultimate bad boy billionaire.

It’s also great to see UK entrepreneurs like Steven Bartlett and Peter Jones flying the flag in the top 10 – proving British brains, charm, and business savvy are a very sexy combination.

With such a diverse mix of visionaries, mavericks, and moguls, it’s clear that success is the ultimate aphrodisiac.”

People who play board games are more like to have an affair, as study links strategy games to infidelity

The key findings

* A survey has found that people who play board games are more likely to have an affair, with Monopoly, Scrabble, and Cluedo being the top games of choice for cheaters.

* 91% of board game players confessed to lying during games to win, while 21% used game nights as a cover for affairs.

* Experts say the strategic thinking and risk-taking skills honed in board games can translate into a knack for infidelity.

* Study conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site.

Playing board games requires tactical thinking, strategic planning, and sometimes a touch of ruthlessness – all skills that, as it turns out, may also be handy when having an affair. A new study conducted by affairs site IllicitEncounters.com suggests a surprising link between board game habits and infidelity.

The poll surveyed 1,600 members about their board game preferences and their experience with cheating. The results revealed that people who regularly play board games are more likely to be unfaithful. Among respondents, 24% reported playing board games regularly, 58% said they played occasionally, and 18% said they never played board games.

When it comes to the cheater’s choice of board games, Monopoly, the game of cutthroat deals and ruthless property grabs, came out on top with 34% of respondents naming it their favourite. Scrabble, the word game that rewards cunning and creativity, came in second at 29%, while Cluedo made it into the top three with 15%.

91% of board game players admitted they’ve lied during a game to win, while 1 in 5 (21%) said they’ve even used board games and “games nights” as a cover to meet up with a lover.

One person who took part in the poll, Harriet*, 39, confessed that her ability to think several moves ahead in Chess helped her plan her affairs with military precision. “I’d plan my alibis weeks in advance, just like I’d plan my moves in a game. It became a challenge to see how long I could keep it going without getting caught. With board games, you do whatever it takes to win. I guess I applied the same logic to my relationships.”

Expert comment from Jessica Leoni

Jessica Leoni, IllicitEncounters.com’s sex and relationships expert, isn’t surprised by the findings. “Board games – especially strategic ones like Monopoly or chess – require careful planning, patience, and sometimes a little deception. Those same qualities often come into play when someone is conducting an affair. People who excel at these games tend to be comfortable with risk, can think long-term, and know how to cover their tracks – all of which are essential traits for those managing a secret relationship.”

Leoni also points out that the drive to win can be a common factor. “For some people, having an affair isn’t just about dissatisfaction in their current relationship,  it’s about the excitement of conquest and getting away with something. That’s a dynamic we see in competitive game players too.”

So, the next time your partner suggests a cosy night of Scrabble or a cutthroat round of Monopoly, you might want to keep an eye on their strategy – on and off the board.

AI Chatbots Are Causing a Surge in ‘Emotional Cheating’ Among Couples, study reveals

The key findings

* 61% of respondents admitted to engaging in emotional affairs with AI chatbots in the past year.

* 2 in 5 people confess to having disclosed deeply personal thoughts and emotions to their AI companions – things they had never shared with their real-life partners.

* Experts warn that reliance on AI for emotional support may create distance in real-life relationships.
* Study conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site.

A recent study conducted by extramarital affairs site IllicitEncounters.com has shed light on an emerging trend in modern relationships: emotional cheating through the use of AI bots.

The poll, which surveyed 2,000 members – an equal split of men and women – revealed that a staggering 61% had used an AI chatbot to engage in an emotional affair over the past year.

One of the most striking findings of the survey was that over half (56%) of respondents admitted to sharing intimate details and personal struggles in their relationships with their AI companions. For many, these chatbots provided a judgement-free space to express frustrations, fears, and unmet emotional needs.

Even more concerning, nearly 2 in 5 (41%) of participants confessed to disclosing deeply personal thoughts and emotions to their AI companions – things they had never shared with their real-life partners. This suggests that many people find AI chatbots to be safer and more understanding than their human counterparts.

The study also revealed that 1 in 4 (26%) users reported forming a strong emotional bond with their AI chatbot. Unlike traditional forms of infidelity, which often involve a physical connection, emotional cheating with AI exists purely in the digital realm. Yet, for those involved, the connection feels real and significant.

Interestingly, despite the deep emotional ties being formed, 81% of respondents who admitted to having an emotional affair with AI stated that they felt no guilt about their chatbot relationships – not considering them to be “real” cheating.

One person who took part in the study, identified only as “Janice,” shared her experience of forming a deep emotional bond with an AI chatbot. “At first, it was just casual chatting which began out of curiosity, but over time, I found myself turning to the AI more than my husband when I was feeling stressed or alone. It never judges me, always listens, and provides comfort in a way that my partner doesn’t always understand. I know it’s not a real person, but the connection feels real, and that’s what matters to me.”

Expert comment from Jessica Leoni

Jessica Leoni, a sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com, weighed in on the phenomenon, noting that AI chatbots are providing emotional support in ways that some partners fail to. “The rise of AI chatbots as emotional companions suggests that many people feel unheard or unfulfilled in their relationships. While these chatbots can serve as a temporary emotional crutch, they could also deepen the divide between partners instead of encouraging open and honest communication.”

Leoni also warned that relying on AI for emotional intimacy could pose long-term risks. “While it may seem harmless at first, forming an attachment to an AI chatbot could lead to emotional distance from real-life partners, making it harder to address underlying issues in the relationship.”

Tomorrow is the day people are most likely to break up with their partner

The key findings

* Red Tuesday, which falls on the Tuesday before Valentine’s Day, is the most popular day of the year for breakups.

* 31% of people break up to avoid the pressure of Valentine’s Day expectations.

* Of the 36% of people who ended a relationship in the week leading up to Valentine’s Day, men are more likely to do so on Red Tuesday (62%) compared to women (38%), with millennials (ages 28-43) being the most likely to call it quits (40%).

* Study conducted byIllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site.

If you’re in a shaky relationship, tomorrow might not be your lucky day. The Tuesday before Valentine’s Day – dubbed Red Tuesday – is the most popular day of the year for breakups, and it has become a notorious time for couples deciding to call it quits.

A recent poll conducted by the UK’s largest extramarital dating site, IllicitEncounters.com surveyed 1,200 people and found that 36% of respondents have ended a relationship in the week leading up to Valentine’s Day – of those, 66% broke up with their partner on Red Tuesday.

The reasons vary, but the most common one – cited by 31% of participants – is wanting to avoid the pressure of Valentine’s Day expectations. For many, the thought of planning a romantic evening or buying a meaningful gift for a partner they no longer see a future with is enough to push them to end things beforehand.

Meanwhile, 27% admitted they wanted to avoid the guilt of faking affection on the most romantic day of the year.

As for how people chose to deliver the bad news, 33% preferred to break up over the phone, while 29% opted for a text message. Surprisingly, only 26% ended things face-to-face, and a small percentage turned to social media (7%) or email (4%) to cut ties. A cold-hearted 1% admitted to ghosting their partner entirely.

Interestingly, the survey also revealed that 75% of people having an affair still choose to spend Valentine’s Day with their primary partner. However, 18% said they will prioritise spending time with their lover over their spouse, while 7% plan to skip celebrating altogether.

The poll found that men are more likely to initiate Red Tuesday breakups, accounting for 62% of them, while women make up 38%.

When it comes to age groups, Millennials (ages 28-43) are the most likely to call it quits on this day, representing 40% of breakups, followed by Gen Z (18-27) at 34%. Gen X (44-59) accounts for 18%, and Baby Boomers (60-78) make up just 8% of those ending relationships on Red Tuesday.

Expert comment from Jessica Leoni

Jessica Leoni, a sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com which conducted the poll explains the trend, “Red Tuesday breakups happen because people don’t want to fake their feelings on Valentine’s Day. Rather than go through the motions of romance, they’d prefer to be honest – even if it means heartbreak.

It’s also a time when people reflect on their relationship and decide if they truly see a future together. Some feel trapped by Valentine’s Day and the expectations that come with it, and rather than putting in effort for a relationship they don’t see lasting, they cut ties instead.

Ultimately, Red Tuesday has become a day of reckoning for many couples, and it’s no surprise that we see a massive spike in breakups right before Valentine’s Day.”

“My husband hired a private investigator to uncover my affair – but I was too clever to get caught”

The key findings

* Emma, 41, from London, has been having an affair with a man she met on extramarital dating site IllicitEncounters.com for over a year, but managed to outsmart both her jealous husband and a private investigator he secretly hired to catch her.
* Aware of her husband’s suspicions, Emma carefully covered her tracks – using fake work commitments, a second phone, and a trusted friend as an alibi – to ensure no evidence of her affair was ever found.
* With more people hiring ‘love rat’ investigators, experts warn that paranoia over cheating is growing, but even the most thorough detective work can’t always uncover well-hidden affairs.

Paranoia over cheating is gripping the nation as suspicious spouses increasingly turn to private investigators to spy on their partners. But while some uncover shocking affairs, others are left red-faced when their hired detectives come up empty-handed.

One woman, Emma, 41, from London, discovered that her husband secretly paid a ‘love rat’ investigator to follow her – only to find nothing, despite the fact that she has been having an affair for over a year with a man she met on extramarital dating site IllicitEncounters.com.

“It wasn’t something I planned,” Emma confesses. “Joe* and I had been drifting apart for years. We were more like roommates than husband and wife. When I stumbled across IllicitEncounters, it was out of curiosity at first. But then I met Alex*, and everything changed.”

Emma’s lover is everything her husband isn’t – adventurous, spontaneous, and wildly attentive. What started as a casual fling quickly turned into something deeper, and Emma found herself falling for him. “I knew it was wrong, but I couldn’t help myself,” she says. “For the first time in years, I felt desired and alive. I wasn’t ready to give that up.”

But keeping the affair under wraps wasn’t easy. Her husband had always been the jealous type, and Emma’s sudden changes in behaviour – late nights at work, mysterious phone calls, and a renewed interest in her appearance – didn’t go unnoticed.

“He started questioning everything,” Emma recalls. “Why was I working late so often? Why was I suddenly going to the gym every day? He even accused me outright of having an affair, but I denied it. I knew I had to be smarter if I was going to keep my secret.”

She created a fake work project to explain her late nights, used a second phone to communicate with Alex, and even enlisted a friend to cover for her when she needed an alibi. “I was always one step ahead,” she says. “I knew Joe was watching me, so I made sure there was nothing for him to find.”

But Joe wasn’t just relying on his own instincts. Convinced Emma was hiding something, he hired a private investigator to follow her. “I had no idea at first,” Emma admits. “But looking back, there were signs – a car that seemed to follow me a few times, a stranger hanging around near my office. I realised what was happening and doubled down on my efforts to stay under the radar.”

Emma’s meticulous planning paid off. The private investigator, unable to find any concrete evidence of her affair, eventually told Joe he was wrong. “Joe actually apologised to me,” Emma says with a hint of guilt. “He said he’d been paranoid and that he trusted me. It was a weird feeling – relief mixed with guilt. I knew I was lying to him, but I also knew I wasn’t ready to end things with Alex.”

For Emma, the affair isn’t just about sex – it’s about reclaiming a part of herself she thought she’d lost. “I love Joe, but our relationship had become so stale,” she explains. “With Alex, I feel like the woman I used to be – confident, sexy, and alive. I know it’s selfish, but I’m not ready to give that up. I’m living in the moment,” she says. “I know it’s not sustainable, but for now, I’m happy. And as long as I’m careful, no one has to get hurt.”

Relationship experts say Emma’s case is not unusual, with private investigators reporting a surge in demand from people desperate to confirm their worst fears about their partners.

Expert comment from Jessica Leoni

Jessica Leoni, a sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com, says trust issues in relationships are at an all-time high. “Social media, dating apps, and websites like ours have made it easier than ever to have an affair, but they’ve also created a culture of suspicion. People are more paranoid than ever, and instead of communicating with their partners, they’re turning to private investigators for answers.”

However, Leoni warns that even the best detective work doesn’t always guarantee the truth. “The reality is that many affairs – especially those conducted through discreet platforms like IllicitEncounters – are almost impossible to trace. If someone is clever enough, they won’t leave a trail.”

AI boyfriend sparks controversy as married woman claims she has fallen for her ‘tailor-made man’

The key findings

* A married woman revealed on an online forum that she created an AI boyfriend to fill the emotional void in her relationship, leading to a divisive debate about the role of AI in matters of the heart.

* Some forum members supported the idea, claiming AI companions offer emotional fulfillment without the complications of human relationships, while others argued the woman had ‘gone too far’.

* The post on theIllicitEncounters.com ‘Flirt Forum’ is just one of many unconventional topics discussed.

In a world where technology is rapidly changing everything – from the way we work to the way we date – it’s no surprise that AI is making its way into the world of romance. But what happens when a frustrated wife turns to AI for love and attention instead of her husband?

That’s exactly what one daring woman revealed on extramarital dating site IllicitEncounters.com’s ‘Flirt Forum’, sparking a fierce debate over whether AI boyfriends could be the future of relationships – or the end of real human connection.

The woman, who has been married for 12 years, admitted she was fed up with her “boring” husband – describing him as “dependable, predictable, and about as exciting as a bowl of Cheerios.” After years of dull routines and zero emotional connection, she decided to try something new: she created her own AI boyfriend, revealing that her virtual lover was spontaneous, romantic, and emotionally attentive – everything her husband isn’t.

The post quickly saw a flurry of responses, with some expressing understanding for the concept, and even admitting to exploring similar AI relationships themselves. One user commented, “I’ve heard a lot about these bots and it’s something I’ve thought about testing out purely out of curiosity” declaring they didn’t see an issue with it.

But not everyone was so understanding. “You’ve lost your mind!” one shocked member commented. “In making the perfect boyfriend, you’ll quickly get bored, you’ll no longer have intellectual and emotional superiority.”

The debate went on to spiral, with some arguing that AI relationships can never replace human connection. “In my opinion this is technology gone too far. Where is the human contact? The conversation and body language” one user asked.

Meanwhile, some members were ready to embrace the future of AI romance, joking about the rise of fully functional robots. “This could be the future of affairs… it won’t be long until we get full-blown robots with ‘the goods’ down below too, then we’re sorted. Maybe we’ll be able to pick and choose what goes on down there with extra attachments depending on the mood!” one user joked.

Expert comment from Jessica Leoni

Commenting on the debate which took place on the extramarital dating site, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com Jessica Leoni, said “Discussions like this highlight just how much technology is reshaping our relationships, and it’s happening faster than ever. AI-driven companionship is no longer just science fiction – it’s becoming a reality.

Whether AI boyfriends and girlfriends are a passing trend or the start of a new era in romance remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: technology isn’t slowing down, and neither is the way people seek connection. It’s a conversation that isn’t going away anytime soon, and we welcome the dialogue within our community.”

‘Babygirl effect’ spurs women to break bedroom taboos in record numbers

The key findings

* Steamy film ‘Babygirl’ has inspired a surge in BDSM-related interest among UK women.

* There has been an uptick in new and existing members of extramarital affairs site, IllicitEncounters.com, adopting usernames featuring BDSM-related terms or references to the film.

* Internal data reveals a 72% rise in the use of the words ‘sub’ and ‘submissive’ within female profiles since the film’s release, and a 33% increase in men identifying themselves as ‘doms’.

Move over ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ – there’s a new cultural phenomenon inspiring bedroom adventures across the UK. The recent release of ‘Babygirl’, starring Nicole Kidman, has sparked more than just box office buzz.

The hit film, which explores themes of power dynamics and sexual discovery, has ignited a surge in interest in kink. The UK’s largest extramarital dating site, IllicitEncounters.com, has seen a noticeable uptick in new and existing members adopting usernames featuring BDSM-related terms or referencing the raunchy film –  particularly among women over 50.

Terms like “kink,” “bondage,” “cuffs,” and even character names like “Romy” and “Samuel” have spiked in popularity among users. The word “milk,” tied to a now infamous scene in the film, has also found its way into usernames.

Internal data from the platform also reveals a striking 67% increase in the use of the terms “sub” or “submissive” in female profiles since the film’s debut. And it’s not just women – the film has seemingly made an impression on men too, with a 34% rise in profiles openly identifying as ‘doms’ since the 10th January.

Expert comment from Jessica Leoni

“This phenomenon, which we’re calling the ‘Babygirl effect,’ shows how impactful pop culture can be in shaping sexual interests and breaking taboos,” says Jessica Leoni, a sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com.

According to Leoni, ‘Babygirl’ has played a key role in normalising conversations around BDSM. “People have always been curious about kink, but a film like this helps remove stigma and makes it feel accessible. It encourages individuals to view BDSM as something that’s not just sexy, but safe and consensual when practiced responsibly.”

Leoni adds, “Whether this is a fleeting trend or the start of a larger sexual revolution, one thing is clear: UK bedrooms are about to become a lot more adventurous.”

Shocking survey reveals how doing this one thing can supercharge your sex life

The key findings

* Results of a new poll suggests that embracing porn – whether individually or as a couple – can be the key to unlocking greater sexual satisfaction.

* 77% of women say they have watched porn in the last month, with 28% declaring they view it at least once a week.

* 22% of women revealed they regularly watch adult content with their partners, and a whopping 91% of them say they feel more sexually satisfied as a result.

* Study conducted byIllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site

In the quest for greater intimacy, many couples hit roadblocks: busy schedules, endless distractions, and the monotony of routine can all take their toll. But a surprising new survey has uncovered an unconventional way to reignite the spark in your relationship – watching porn.

The poll, conducted by the UK’s largest extramarital dating site, IllicitEncounters.com, sheds light on how embracing adult content, either individually or as a couple, can pave the way to greater sexual satisfaction.

The study, which surveyed 1,200 women, revealed that a significant 77% had watched porn in the last month. Among them, 28% admitted to watching it at least once a week, while 59% viewed it monthly. These numbers paint a picture of a society growing more comfortable with adult content, signaling a shift in attitudes over recent years.

In fact, 80% of respondents reported feeling more at ease discussing and consuming porn today than they did five years ago. This openness is breaking down taboos and sparking deeper conversations about sexual preferences and desires, both individually and in relationships.

Perhaps the most compelling insight from the survey was the revelation that 22% of women regularly watch porn with their partners. Among this group, an astounding 91% said it had improved their sexual satisfaction. The shared experience of watching porn appears to help couples explore fantasies, improve communication, and foster a sense of intimacy that spills over into other aspects of their relationship.

Shauna*, a participant in the survey, shared her story of how watching porn with her partner transformed their relationship. “We were in a bit of a rut, and I felt like we weren’t connecting as much in the bedroom. Watching porn together was a way for us to explore our desires and talk about things we hadn’t before. It brought us closer and made sex more exciting.”

Expert comment from Jessica Leoni

Sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com, Jessica Leoni, weighed in on the findings, stating, “Porn can act as a tool for education and exploration, provided it’s used in a healthy, consensual manner. Watching it with a partner can help couples break down barriers and spark conversations about what they want in their sexual lives. It’s all about fostering openness and trust.”

Leoni went on to explain, “Even in the healthiest relationships, dry spells are inevitable. But as this survey highlights, embracing a shared experience like watching porn can unlock deeper levels of connection and intimacy. With more women than ever feeling empowered to explore their sexuality, it’s clear that adult content is no longer the taboo subject it once was – it’s becoming a conversation starter, a relationship enhancer, and a surprising key to supercharging your sex life.”

“I Told My Husband I Wanted to Date Other People – Now Our Relationship is Stronger Than Ever”

* A married woman has revealed how an unconventional decision to embrace non-monogamy through extramarital dating site, IllicitEncounters.com, sparked a transformation in her relationship with her husband.
* Sophie*, 28, describes how emotional and physical unfulfillment in her relationship led to an open conversation with her partner about ‘exploring options’.
* By setting clear boundaries and prioritising honesty, she reveals how an open relationship surprisingly led to a stronger bond with her husband, declaring their relationship ‘has never been better’.

In a world where traditional relationships often clash with modern desires, one woman found an unexpected way to keep her marriage strong: by embracing an open relationship through an affairs site.

Sophie* opened up about her unconventional relationship journey that began long before she and her husband tied the knot in 2023. Years before saying ‘I do’, she posed a question to her then-boyfriend that would shape the course of their relationship: Would you be upset if I cheated on you?

“I was curious and insecure,” Sophie admits, reflecting on how the idea of infidelity first entered their relationship. “I asked him, partly from curiosity and a good dose of insecurity, whether he would be upset if I cheated on him with someone else.”

His surprising response? As long as she didn’t lie about it, he would be fine. At the time, the answer stung, as if it were a dismissal of the love and exclusivity she craved. “It felt like he was more or less telling me to go and be with someone else, just tell him first,” Sophie recalls. “I thought it was perhaps so he could do the same.” Little did she know, this offhand remark would pave the way for a transformative chapter in her life.

The couple got married in 2023. For Sophie, the wedding was supposed to be the ultimate affirmation of their love. “I really hoped that this would bring us closer and ease my insecurities that he was less invested in the relationship,” she explains. But the reality was different. “He left the entire wedding planning to me, we had no honeymoon, and our relationship just resumed to its usual routine pretty quickly.”

“I was emotionally and physically unhappy,” Sophie admits. “But I didn’t want to split up. I still loved him, and deep down, I knew he loved me too.” Yet, doubts about her husband’s emotional investment lingered. To address these feelings and rediscover herself, Sophie decided to explore the controversial world of non-monogamy, and discovered extramarital dating site IllicitEncounters.com

After much internal debate, she decided to bring it up with her husband. “I think about a week after debating, I bit the bullet and told him I wanted to explore my options but I wanted rules,” Sophie shares. Her conditions were simple but clear: “We stay together, we communicate, and we let each other know where the other person is if we’re going out on a date for safety reasons. And, we don’t bring the other person into our marital bed.” To her relief, her husband agreed.

Sophie’s experience on the website was eye-opening. “Now, I’m regularly seeing a man I met on IllicitEncounters.com.” But perhaps the biggest surprise was how this arrangement improved her relationship with her partner. “What surprised me most is that it really made me feel closer to my husband, and he has admitted the same,” she reveals. “Our communication and level of trust has improved dramatically, and ironically our marriage has never been better.”
