Hell really does hath no fury like a woman scorned – they are more ruthless at ending marriages after discovering an affair, according to new study

Image result for hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

* Men are MORE willing to forgive affairs than women;
* Women are better at hiding their cheating behaviour than men;
* Facebook is most common reason for a woman starting an affair;
* Most common reason for men was dissatisfaction in the bedroom;
* Results are from a new survey of 1,000 adulterers by IllicitEncounters.com – Britain’s leading dating website for married people
MEN are more willing to forgive affairs than women, according to new study.
It found that 67% of men are prepared to give marriage a second chance after discovering their wife’s betrayal.
In contrast, only 52% of women say they would stay with their husband after discovering his adultery.
The main reason why men are more forgiving is because of the reasons why men and women cheat in the first place.
A third of men (32%) said their wife had cheated because they had been neglectful and they could understand why they had strayed.
Almost half of wives (54%) said they were unable to move on from the adultery because they felt it was part of a pattern and would happen again.
The results come from a new survey of 1,000 adulterers by IllicitEncounters.com – Britain’s leading dating website for married people.
It found that women are better at hiding their affairs than men.
Just over half of female adulterers (52%) said their husband had no idea they had been unfaithful despite having several affairs.
Only 42% of male cheats remained completely undiscovered.
The key to saving a marriage in the wake of an affair is how the other half discovers the betrayal.
If the women owns up and pledges to stay with her husband, the marriage survives in 82% of cases.
But if the man confesses and wants to save his marriage, he is only successful in 68% of cases – again because of this pattern of cheating.
If the woman is caught out by her husband, the survival rates drops to 52%.
If the man is caught cheating, the survival rate is slightly worse at 42% – showing again that women are more ruthless in dealing with betrayal.
The most common reason for a new affair for women is Facebook – where they are likely to hook up with an old flame. Facebook is now cited in a third of all divorce cases
For men, the most common reason for a new affair is dissatisfaction in the bedroom and the desire for fresh excitement.
IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said: “The phrase hell hath no fury like a woman scorned really does seem to be rooted in fact.
“This new IllicitEncounters research shows that women really do react much more badly to cheating that men and that a husband’s adultery is more likely to end in divorce than a wife’s.
“Women are better at covering up their cheating than men and it clear that there are millions of husbands who have no idea about their wife’s illicit behaviour.”
Women date more actively on IllicitEncounters.com than men – enjoying an average of three dates a month compared to men’s two.
The site, an authority on infidelity, has more than a one million registered members and most people on the site remain with their spouses while discreetly seeing other partners.
Top five reasons why women have affairs

It’s An F for that ASSignment, As Teachers Flunk the Faithful Test

  • Teachers are the most likely to have an affair with their colleagues, a new survey has revealed
  • 27% of teachers admitted to having had sex with a colleague in a classroom
  • Lawyers, pilots and journalists are also among the most likely, with long working hours and work-related stress cited as the main cause of an affair with a colleague
  • 72% of men instigate an affair with their colleague, while women think of other alternatives to “de-stress” before resulting to an affair, adding credence to the idea that men are sleazier
  • The survey of over 1,500 people is brought to you by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity.

There are arguably some lines that should never be crossed, but of those of us that do, teachers sit atop the pyramid of debauchery. The news comes by way of a new survey of over 1,500 people which found the professions that most commonly have an affair with their colleagues.

It is, perhaps rather surprisingly, educators who are the most adulterous among us in this respect.

In second place are lawyers (17%), followed by pilots (13%), journalists (12%) and doctors (9%).

The results are brought to you by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity. Their spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains:

“There’s a line in the sand, but this lot have smashed past it without even so much as a second thought. While you should almost never mix work and play, it appears that those with jobs that, firstly, put employees under extreme duress on a daily basis and, secondly, are in an environment that allows for friendships to be forged and positive bonds to be established… they’re the ones who are most likely to cross the proverbial line in the sand.”

He adds:

“Teachers are now closing the book after another undoubtedly stressful year. Whether they’re stressing over targets, an impromptu Ofsted inspection or their class’ exams, they always have their colleagues’ shoulders to lean on, in what is generally a positive environment.

However, when the work becomes too much, they’re doing a little bit more than just leaning on a shoulder of their colleague, and choose to ‘de-stress’ in other ways.

Then, of course, you have your doctors and your lawyers; the foundations for infidelity remain the same. Long hours, stress and a serious imbalance of work and play.”

The survey also revealed that 27% of teachers had an affair with a colleague within school walls, while 15% of lawyers and 8% of journalists did the same in their respective places of work.

Interestingly, the gender breakdown painted a picture of a different sort, revealing that men are the most likely to make the first move and instigate the affair with their colleague(s).

In fact, the numbers were very much in their favour, with 72% of men assuming the role of the instigator compared to just 28% of women.

Women, meanwhile, are much more likely to pursue other alternatives to de-stress first, before eventually turning to an affair with a colleague.

Grant explains:

“Even in professions like teaching, traditionally dominated by women (particularly in primary education) men are the predators, so to speak. Instead of thinking of alternatives to solve any stress or work related issues they may have, the significant majority think with a completely different organ entirely.

Whether that further adds credence to the stereotypical view that men are sleazier with more of a one track mind, well who’s to say?”

The full results are as follows:

Most Likely to Cheat within their Profession

1.     Teacher (19%)
2.     Lawyer (17%)
3.     Other (15%)
4.     Pilot (13%)
5.     Journalist (12%)
6.     Doctor (9%)
7.     Nurse (8%)
8.     Police Officer (5%)
9.     Event Planners (2%)

National Adultery Awards 2016 – And the Winners Are…

  • Scott Disick has been crowned Cheater of the Year for 2015 at the National Adultery Awards, a.k.a. The Cheaties
  • Cristiano Ronaldo took the crown of Sports ‘Player’ of the Year
  • Channing Tatum and Michelle Keegan were voted as the two celebrities that we’d most likely cheat on our partner’s for
  • Sally Bercow won the “What Were They Thinking?” award
  • Bill Clinton scooped both the National Adultery Awards Fellowship Award and the Most Iconic Affair In History thanks to his (alleged) 36 affairs, most famously with Monica Lewinsky
  • The National Adultery Awards are hosted and organised by the UK’s leading dating website for married people, IllicitEncounters.com

Scott Disick, Michelle Keegan, Cristiano Ronaldo and Sally Bercow are just some of the famous faces to be awarded at the National Adultery Awards 2016, a.k.a. The Cheaties.

Taking place in an invitation-only event in London on Sunday 29th May, the event was organized and hosted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people.

Scott Disick took home the evening’s most prestigious award, the 2015 Cheater of the Year, for his repeated acts of infidelity, betraying his now ex-girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian.

He fought off stiff competition from Gwen Stefani’s ex, Gavin Rossdale, and actor Ben Affleck, who both had an affair with their childrens’ nanny, while Sally Bercow, who cheated on husband John Bercow with his cousin, and rock star Ozzy Osbourne completed the list of nominees for the main award.

“This was tough, but the right person won in the end,” said IllicitEncounters.com’s spokesperson, Christian Grant.

“Cheating on what many would consider to be a beautiful woman, and to do it several times too, is brave… or stupid, I can’t quite tell.

What’s more, the rumours say that he cheated on her with her sibling Kendall Jenner, among others. Low blow, Scott.

It was also interesting to see that the main category was dominated by men, with just one woman, Sally Bercow, making the list of nominees. Whether that says something about the cheating habits of men and women, I don’t know, but it’s an interesting thought.”

Meanwhile, Michelle Keegan took home the We ALL Would award, for the woman all married men (and gay women) would cheat on their partner’s for.

The honour of being the man that all married women (and gay men) would cheat for went to, unsurprisingly, Channing Tatum.
In the sports category, Cristiano Ronaldo won the Sports ‘Player’ of the Year after having alleged affairs with Andress Urach, Daniella Chavez and Badr Hari.

Stephanie Drew and Ali Bear of Ex On The Beach were crowned as the best reality TV cheaters, while the best TV affair was given to Holly Cunningham and Robbie Roscoe of Hollyoaks.

Sally Bercow, who cheated on her husband with his own cousin, romped to victory in the “What Were they Thinking?” category, while the NAA Fellowship Award was given to Bill Clinton, who has allegedly had affairs with 36 different women.

Speaking of Clinton, he was, in fact, a double award-winner, as he also claimed the Most Iconic Affair In History thanks to his notorious relationship with Monica Lewinsky.

Grant added:

“Unfortunately, and perhaps rather understandably, the winners could not be there in person to collect their awards, but rest assured that these have since been sent to them. We hope that they take a pride of place in the winners’ homes.”

Good News: It’s not cheating if it’s abroad!

One third of Adulterers believe that cheating doesn’t count when it’s done abroad.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extra-marital affairs site, surveyed 1000 of it’s members and discovered that a whopping 33% admitted that they didn’t feel having a fling abroad was cheating.

The survey found that 28% of affair-seekers were planning a trip abroad to engage in some illicit fun this summer.

The surveyed also voted on the top European cheating destinations and found Prague to be the top contender.

What is interesting is that cheaters actually believe what they’re doing doesn’t constitute as cheating as long as it’s done on holiday; perhaps the anonymity of infidelity abroad minimizes the guilt factor, thus making it feel less deceptive.

Sierra, a female member using the site, said “What happens on holiday stays on holiday! It’s a universal rule. Every year I book a girlie getaway with my close pal Donna, who’s also married by the way. Our summer breaks are always very eventful, but nothing I want to write home about! Let’s just say a cheeky fling is always on the agenda, Donna and I both know it’s only some harmless fun. Our husbands drop us off at the airport and they’re right where we left them when we get back, none-the-wiser and perfectly happy to see us after a little break from each other. It’s win-win.”

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com Claire Page said “Let’s be honest here, what do you actually expect goes on – on a girls or lads holiday? Plenty of married people play away on holidays abroad; it’s just something nobody bats an eye at anymore.

Is it cheating? Apparently some think not, I can totally understand the thought process behind this though. The reason some people harbour any ill feelings towards their infidelity is due to the baggage that may follow them around, but if you can drop the baggage off on the conveyor belt at the airport – then the weight is quite literally off your shoulders.

If the problem doesn’t follow you home, then there’s no problem at all. So can cheating abroad not count? Yes, if you don’t let it.”

Techies are logging on to married dating sites!

IllicitEncounters.com the UK’s largest married dating site has seen a 12% increase of IT workers joining the affairs site to seek out a lover.

The affairs site currently has 13,200 active users who work in Information Technology, with a spike of 12% in the last year alone. Interestingly the year before IT workers using the site were on the decline by 5%.

The most significant rise of techies signing up to the site is seen in London – possibly coinciding with many of the hot new tech start-ups popping up all over East London, creating a tech-savvy culture hub of likeminded individuals. Most notably Silicon Roundabout aka Tech City in Shoreditch, here many major tech companies reside; it is also a very sociable part of London that has a plethora of bars and clubs.

Perhaps the common IT guy is now far removed from being cooked up in a stuffy dark room with only his high spec screens for company, and is instead placed in a high rise, air conditioned tech hub with plenty of places to seek out further entertainment once the office closes for the day.

Sam, a 36 year old Software Specialist who uses the site, said “My life and job is very orderly. I have a 9am-6pm job although I often work late, I have a coordinated family life, and work is financially rewarding and very stable. I do feel under pressure to do well at work and provide for my family, and I feel quite anxious in proving for myself in day-to-day life.

It means when I do have some freedom, I want to do something a little out of character – it’s exhausting always doing what is expected of you. I like to meet new and interesting girls to feed my need to learn and grow – it takes a very unique man to limit himself to one woman for their entire life. I guess I get the best of both worlds, tell me one man who wouldn’t want that?”

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com Claire Page said ‘The IT guy used to be the janitor-looking creep who came to fix whatever computer issue you were having back in high school. That IT guy no longer exits, now he is a liberal, beard brandishing, and smart talking Mr. Cool from the tech department – and boy do we like to break our computers to have them come lean over and fix them! Why are more techies cheating on their partners? Simply because the World Wide Web has made it easier and more discrete, and nobody knows how best to cover up their tracks or clear their browser history then the IT guy!”

The UK’s Most Unfaithful Constituencies Revealed

lcoj4wz3wxcqph1z5odc

With election fever gripping the nation, IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading married dating website, has released data revealing the UK’s most unfaithful constituencies.

ElectionInfidelity.com cross-references the data of almost 1 million adulterers against the constituency they are in to reveal the illicit political hotspots within the United Kingdom.

Whilst conservatives are the most unfaithful voters, 4 of the top 5 most illicit constituencies are Labour:

1 Nottingham South Labour
2 South Cambridgeshire Conservative
3 Greenwich and Woolwich Labour
4 Newcastle-Upon-Tyne East Labour
5 Leyton and Wanstead Labour

Overall, Conservatives just pipped Labour to the post with the most unfaithful constituencies with a ranking of 13.67% against Labour’s 13.08%

Scotland has fared very well with only one constituency within the top 20. SNP voters also came in low with a ranking of only 8%

The most faithful constituency was Leigh in Greater Manchester.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com Simon Francis said: “The results speak for themselves with the mainstream constituencies having the most unfaithful voters. What’s interesting is that smaller parties came in so low suggesting that the same moral compass that guides our personal lives is also prevalent within our voting habits. But if you can’t trust Labour or Conservative to stay faithful then how can we trust them to run our country.”

To see how your faithful your constituency is go to www.electioninfidelity.com
How the Data Works

The number of people cheating in each constituency was calculated using the postcode data of 995,000 members of IllicitEncounters.com. This was then ran against the number of people eligible to vote in each constituency to give a percentage or Infidelity Index for that area.

The party ranking was calculated by taking the party holding the seat in the constituency of all our members.

Seat party holder is based on who won the seat in the 2010 General Election.

Boom in Mistress Cards as Valentine’s Day Approaches!

IllicitEncounters.com has added a range of Valentine’s Cards to their successful series of Mistress Cards celebrating ADULTERY. The new range of Mistress Cards launched by the UK’s largest married dating site ahead of Valentine’s Day has instantly become an unlikely bestseller, with 2.6 being sold every minute.

E-cards can be sent by email for free from Mistresscards.com or printed versions of the cards cost £2.50 and can be ordered online. Most of the cards are aimed at men although others are aimed at married women to send to their lovers – or Histresses. The decision to launch the range came after a survey found married men spend 23% more on Valentine’s gifts for their mistresses than their wives.

The poll, which surveyed 2,000 IE male members, found married men spent an average of £147.60 on Valentine’s gifts for their lovers compared to just £120 on their spouse. Mistress gifts were also more likely to be more sensual, like lingerie, champagne or chocolates, compared to practical gifts for their wives, like a phone upgrade or a new purse.

The best-selling Mistress card says:

‘Roses are red, Violets are Blue, It’s a good thing my wife doesn’t know I’m screwing you’

The second best-selling card says:

‘I want you as my mistress to brighten up my life,

Please overlook that I have a wife.

My relationship’s ending, some would say dead

So let’s have some dinner and end up in bed.’

The cards can be sent from any email address and arrive to the recipient immediately.

“What we’re seeing in this product popularity is how much men value their mistresses,” said psychologist Lucy Redford, “Receiving a card for Valentine’s Day can mean a lot to a mistress, someone who is stereotypically seen as the second most important, after the wife. It’s really a small thing that means something huge – that they’re important. It validates them and makes them think they’re on their lover’s mind. Fundamentally, that’s what we all crave – to feel important and validated.”

“We are absolutely delighted with sales figures.” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “We launched the cards Monday morning at 9am and by Tuesday morning, we had sales of over 3,600. There’s 1440 minutes in a day, so that means there are 2.6 sold every minute. I am not surprised in the slightest that the cards have been such a hit – they’re proof of how much men on our site treasure their mistresses. One woman sent an email to me this morning and said she had received a mistress card from her lover along with a beautiful Tiffany necklace! A lot of men value their relationship with their mistress more than their marriage but for some reason or another –financial, family, personal or health – they cannot leave the marriage. Our mistresses love being treated like this, it’s really the best of both worlds: receiving all the excitement of being spoilt and treated like a princess, without the hassle of a relationship.”

David Cameron, Ed Milliband, Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage receive Mistresses for the New Year?

New research released today showed that cheaters are twice as likely to be in political jobs than those in low-salary brackets. UK political leaders, including Prime Minister David Cameron, Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage have this week received posted invites from IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s top married dating site, encouraging them to cheat online.

Psychologist Lucy Redford said that men in power are more likely to cheat because “The feeling of invincibility is a natural by-product of the rise to political power. They feel like they won’t get caught, or if they do get caught they believe they will be able to talk their way out of it, which politicians are very good at.”

The research found that of the 1,000 cheating people surveyed, 235 of them were earning over £60,000, in political roles such as senior civil servants, head of government departments, parliamentary officials, political representatives or local councillors; compared to the 110 earning under £28,000, and in junior management or executive roles.

Claire Page, spokesperson for Illicit Encounters said there are many high-profile politicians using the website – “Our priority for us and for our customers is discretion. We facilitate affairs easily in a stress-free environment, where the big players look for escapism from their high-pressure professional life. Those in politics are particularly unfaithful, such as French president François Hollande, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Vance McAllister. It’s so common today that people barely bat an eyelid when they hear that yet another politician has had an affair. Hollande actually got a popularity boost after his affair revelations!

“Today, a lot of marriages, especially in politics, are more business unions, such as the partnership between Bill and Hillary Clinton. The spark in the marriage may have gone, but there are other reasons to stay, such as voters’ support which is increased with a united façade, but why should they lose out on any romanticism or sex life when they can still have it so easily online?”

With This New Calendar Women Can Have A Different Married Man Every Month!

dxgmbbwfnkuxlqeddi3p

In a bid to attract new female members to married dating site IllicitEncounters.com, the married men of the site have been featured in their very own 2015 calendar. With nearly 1 million members in the UK the dating site is hoping showing off some of the their male members will encourage new female members to join the site.

The site, which exists to help married people find an extra marital relationship is celebrating 2015 by producing its first ever calendar. The calendar features real male members of the site, who have carefully concealed their identity whilst showing off their physique.

Spokesperson from IllicitEnconters.com Mike Taylor commented; “We have been helping married people find new relationships for over 10 years now, and we wanted to find a way to show off the great guys we have on the site. Because our members are looking for privacy and discretion it is hard to find ways to show off how great or members are. That is where the idea for the calendar came from, showing our members in a way which protects their identity but also shows women the vast array of men who are on the site.”

Mr July (24HoursFromTulsa) added: “I am looking for a little excitement outside of my current relationship, I still feel youthful and I want to share that with someone who has the same lust for life that I have. That’s why I joined Illicit Encounters and wanted to be in the calendar.”

The calendar follows research from illicit encounters that revealed over one third of people believe they have married the wrong person and over sixty per cent of people wouldn’t think less of a friend if they where revealed to be having an affair.

The Calendar is available to buy from www.calendarcheats.com and will make the perfect gift for someone looking to spend the year with exciting new men.

Tennis loving cheats are looking for some ‘Wimblefun’ this summer.

Suspicious husbands may want to keep an eye on their spouses during the upcoming Wimbledon Championships as a new study by the UK’s largest extramarital site,IllicitEncounters.com, has shown that an overwhelming amount of female adulteresses enjoy a spot of tennis (and not just the tonsil kind).

The site quizzed its database of 900,000 adulterers on which sports they will be either watching or partaking in this summer, and it seems the sport played as singles is the top choice of ladies who are already part of a duo.‘F1’ and ‘Football’ topped the male charts, but just over 40% of the female membership reported a keen interest in playing and watching tennis – new balls please? Cycling and Rugby also appeared high on the list, however in the wake of the world cup, Football appeared last.

Mike Taylor Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com commented: “tennis, which has long had a tradition predominantly of the middle and upper-classes, is an appropriate interest for the Illicit demographic. Through research we have learnt that the majority of our members are high earning, high achieving, and living in more rural areas like Devon and Berkshire. In cities, gyms are so expensive and there is little space for those who wish to pin up a net, and despite the fact that tennis has undergone a bit of a rebrand in the last ten years, many would still consider it a ‘posh’ sort of sport. In context, we can see why our members, and cheaters overall, would rank tennis higher on their interests list, than the rest of the population.”

The website also asked their female members which male tennis stars make them reach for ice cold water and a towel: gorgeous Spaniard Rafael Nadal topped the list of lust, beefy Argentinian Juan Martin del Potro makes them reach for their racket, as does Maria Sharapova’s Bulgarian boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov, the Swiss master Roger Federer came forth in their hearts, and the strapping German Tommy Haas is number five for a love – love dream match. Unfortunately Andy Murray did not get the ladies pulses racing with just 2% of the vote.

The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) refused to comment on the findings.

End

1 Rafael Nadal 23%
2 Juan Martin del Potro 17%
3 Grigor Dimitrov 13%
4 Roger Federer 11%
5 Tommy Haas 10%

Andy Murray received 2% of the female votes.
