Public, high-stakes intimacy seems to be soaring to new heights – literally.  

According to new data from IllicitEncounters.com, 1 in 50 people have joined the notorious Mile High Club.

It’s not just everyday people indulging in these high-flying affairs – celebrities have also been open about their mid-air exploits including pop star Lily Allen who spoke publicly about joining the Mile High Club with Liam Gallagher in 2009 – whilst Gallagher was still married to his wife at the time, Nicole Appleton. 

The survey, which polled 2,000 members, revealed that a staggering 63% have engaged in sexual encounters while on the move.

With 2% of people opting for fun in the clouds, the data shows that the desire for thrills extends across various modes of transport. The most popular spots for illicit intimacy include cars (68%), trains (15%), buses (11%), and even ferries (4%).

A shocking new study has uncovered that nearly everyone is guilty of mentally straying during sex. 

The research was conducted by extramarital dating site IllicitEncounters.com following the release of actress Gillian Anderson’s highly anticipated book, Want – a collection of steamy sexual fantasies compiled by actress Gillian Anderson, which has sparked fresh conversations about the hidden depths of human desire.

Polling 2,000 participants – evenly split between men and women – IllicitEncounters.com, which will be celebrating its 20th birthday in October, revealed that a staggering 90% of people have fantasised about someone other than their partner while getting intimate at some point in their relationship. 

In fact, 86% of men and an astonishing 97% of women admit to letting their imaginations wander to someone other than their partner while having sex.

For men, celebrities dominate the fantasy world, with 19% admitting to thinking about famous faces. Ex-partners and coworkers also feature prominently, at 16% and 15% respectively. 

Women, however, are more likely to fantasise about exes (22%) and coworkers (19%), but the real surprise? Farmers make an unexpected appearance, ranking fourth among women’s most fantasised about figures. This curious attraction may be tied to the ongoing public fascination with Jeremy Clarkson, who was recently crowned the UK’s sexiest man for the second year running by female users of IllicitEncounters.com.

When it comes to the settings for these fantasies, men imagine steamy scenarios at work (25%), in a park (18%), or even on a plane (12%). Hotels also make an appearance, and some fantasise about romantic rendezvous in lifts and even police stations. 

For women, it’s all about sun-soaked beaches (23%), work-related trysts (19%), and hotel escapades (15%). Clearly a fan of the outdoors when it comes to getting intimate, fields, parks and forests are also featured in the most popular fantasy locations.

Surprisingly, the vast majority of people – 89% – don’t view fantasising about someone else as cheating, and only 11% see it as a form of infidelity.

81% of people agree that accents play a major part in a person’s datability, but what accent is the sexiest? 

Parlez-vous français? Oui? Très magnifique! French is crowned the language of love with nearly a quarter (24%) of all men finding this to be the sexiest language of them all! The French speak in a breathy and husky tone, with pronunciation that is delivered poetically, it’s enchanting. If that’s not hot, I don’t know what is. Notable French celebrities, whose accents are as seductive as anything, include award-winning actresses Marion Cotillard and Juliette Binoche, as well as the most recent Bond girl Léa Seydoux.

In second place is the irresistible Italian accent with 16% of the vote. Notable Italian celebrities include Sophia Loren, one of the greatest female stars of classical Hollywood Cinema, her accent is so inviting and seductive, even at the grand age of 87. Another prominent Italian fashion model and former Bond girl is Monica Belluci, let’s be honest, if the Italian accent is good enough for James Bond – who are we to argue.

The third place for female accents goes to Norway (13%). Brits are obsessed with Nordic countries since series such as Vikings and The Last Kingdom have boosted their popularity. A Scandinavian accent on a gorgeous blonde and blue-eyed woman gives us those Viking vibes, no wonder men are captivated.

Fourth place goes to Irish accents with 11.5%, fifth to Australian (8.5%), and sixth to Spanish (7%).

Next, in seventh place is the Dutch accent  (6.5%), followed by Portuguese eighth (4%). 

Second, to last place is Scottish (3.5%) and last but not least is American (1%).

In the men’s category, the lucky Irish accent is the sexiest of them all! A whopping 21% of British women find Irish to be the most desirable accent on a man. Such as the likes of actors Liam Neelson, Cillian Murphy and Colin Farrel.

The second sexiest male accent is South African (20%). The South African accent has unique tones, very approachable and friendly, no wonder women are drawn to it. 

Honorable third place goes to men with a French accent (16%) – ooh la, la! French-speaking, french-kissing, Frenchman? Enchanté! Take Emmanuel Macron the French president, for example, love him or hate him, his accent definitely makes the news more riveting. 

The fourth-place sexiest male accent is Scottish with 10.5% of the vote, followed by Canadian in fifth (7%). Italian comes in sixth sexiest accent (5.5%), followed by Welsh in seventh (4%) and New Zealand in eighth (3.5%).

Spanish ranked second to last in ninth place (2.5%) and finally Polish in tenth overall sexiest (2%).

The respondents were also asked if they have ever rejected someone on the basis of their accent and more than half said they have (59%). A further 30% of people admit they’ve been on a date before with someone whom they didn’t understand because of a strong accent.

It’s apparent that accents play a highly critical role in how attractive we find people. It can make or break the beginnings of a romantic rendezvous. If their voice doesn’t feel like music to our ears then listening to them speak could become a massive turn-off. 

Accents which are from a foreign country can be especially seductive. They make your date exude an air of sophistication, and feel exotic and worldly, which is sexy in its own right. 

We as humans are inherently attracted to people who we deem to have lots of ambition and life experience. Somebody who speaks English with a foreign accent gives the impression they have seen the world, they are interesting and they are smart – of course we will find that unbearably sexy.

It was once rumoured that the size of a man’s feet meant they had big… socks!

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site for married people, surveyed 2000 of their male members and found a direct correlation between a man’s shoe size and adultery.

A man who is well endowed has big feet – or so they say. Now the proof for that particular myth is in the pudding, what is certainly true though is that men with big feet are more likely to cheat, whereas men with teeny tiny tootsies are tons more trustworthy. 

The results found that only 4% of cheating men have a shoe size of 7.5 and under, followed by 8% shoe size 8 – 8.5 and 22% of men with shoe size 9 – 9.5.

Now on the larger scale, over a quarter of adulterous men have shoe size 10 – 10.5 (27%) – making this the most common shoe size of a cheating casanova! 

18% of cheating men have a shoe size of 11-11.5, followed by 15% between 12 – 12.5, lastly 6% have a shoe size of 13 and over. 

Collectively 66% of male love rats have a shoe size 10 or over, with 10-10.5 being the most popular sizes for adulterous men.

The results of the study also correlate with various celebrity cheats, Tiger Woods, Hugh Grant, Lamar Odom and Arnold Schwarzenegger all sporting a shoe size of 10 and over.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site for married people, surveyed 800 of its female members to discover a few eye-opening facts about cheating and the size of a woman’s bosom.

The results found that over half (52%) of female loverats have bra size between AA and C cups – making women with smaller breasts more likely to cheat compared to their faithful counterparts or rather bigger busted ladies.

The number one cup size of an adulterer is a B cup with a whopping 27% of women claiming to be a size B – with 32B being the most popular.

Famous celebrities with cup size 32B who have had affairs include Kristen Stewart (32B) and Sienna Miller (32B). Other famous celebrity cheats with a smaller bust size include Meg Ryan (34A) and Amanda Holden (32C).

Husbands beware if your wife buys sexy underwear! The results also found that out of the 800 women surveyed only 11% buy sexy lingerie to wear for their husbands however an enormous 73% have bought lingerie to impress their affair-partner.

Marks and Spencer has been voted the number one place British cheats buy sexy underwear (37%) followed by Ann Summers (23%) and Victoria’s Secret (18%).

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site for married people, polled 1000 women to find out who they find sexy over 60, and here are the results.

Shaun Mark “Sean” Bean, an English actor, has been voted the number one sexiest celebrity man over the age of 60 2021, with 19% of the vote. At 61 years old Sean is the second youngest in the poll. Sean has played a variety of goodies and baddies on screen, such as Ned Stark in Game of Thrones (2011), or more recently Mr. Wilford in Snowpiercer (2021) – his fan base is diverse. Sean is a vision of traditional masculinity, rugged and strong, with the impression he is powerful and brave – it is no surprise women find him irresistible. 
 
Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan, internationally acclaimed James Bond star, wins second sexiest (16%). At 67 years old Pierce is the epitome of class, scrubbing up exceptionally well in a suit. Pierce has timeless good looks, he is very suave in an old fashioned way – of course women would be attracted to this traditionally handsome man.
 
The dashing Denzel Washington, a Hollywood icon, claims 3rd sexiest (13%) at 66 years old. Famous for movies such as Malcom X (1992) and The Equalizer (2014). Denzel has boyishly striking features, and seems to have not aged a day in the last decade. With his chiseled physique, and seductive charm, of course women are pining for him.
 
Fourth place goes to Tom Hanks (9%), star of classics such as Forest Gump (1994) and The Green Mile (1999). This American heartthrob holds up very well at 64 years old. Let’s just say, Forest if you have to run, run right this way…
 
In fifth place is English musician Sting, at 69 years old (8%), ex lead singer of the band Police, best known for their signature number one hit written and performed by Sting Every Breath You Take (1983) – a song which went on to be recognized as the most played song on the radio of all time in 2019 by Broadcast Music, Inc.
 
6th place goes to good old Arnie (7%), 73 year old Austrian-American actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, notorious for his role in the Terminator (1984) franchise. Currently the Republican governor of California, clearly this politician has brains as well as beauty. 
 
Liam Neeson, at 68 year old, takes 7th place (5%); Northern Irish actor, known for movies such as Schindler’s List (1993) and Taken (2008). Shortly followed by 65 year old, American actor, Bruce Willis in 8th place (4%) star of critically acclaimed films such as Die Hard (1998), The Sixth Sense (1999) and Looper (2012).
 
Hunky Harrison Ford, American Actor and environmental activist, comes in 9th sexiest overall (3%), at 78 he is the oldest celebrity to make it in the top 10.
 
Last but not least is 60 year old, actor and stand up comedian, Damon Wayans (1%). The youngest in the poll. Damon is known for his stint on Saturday Night Live (1985), as well as multiple television shows including My Wife and Kids (2005).
 
53% of those polled agree that men get better looking with age, and a further 82% of women said they prefer to date someone older than themselves.

Who is next to be struck down by the Strictly curse? The recent survey was conducted with 2000 adulterers on IllicitEncounters.com, the U.K’s leading dating website for married people.

You heard it from the horse’s mouth! There’s no better judge on who falls under the Strictly curse next, than the cheaters themselves, it takes one to know one.

First place goes to GMB presenter and married mother of two, Ranvir Singh, and dance partner Giovanni Pernice with an overwhelming 40% of the vote. In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Ranvir denied any strictly curse rumours – it’s safe to say we’re not convinced. The pair’s chemistry on stage is undeniable – that argentinian tango last week, and the near kiss at the end, set pulses racing.

Second place is Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing and dance partner Karen Hauer (29%). Nobody believes Jamie is set to propose to his girlfriend MIC co-star Sophie Habboo, that he shares a flat with.  I’m not buying him and dance partner Karen’s ‘sibling-like’ relationship, the two are overly playful, and playfulness plus adult fun are one and the same. Karen Hauer invited to the Laings for Christmas? More like cheat-mas!

Eastenders’ Maise Smith and dance partner Gorka Márquez make it in the top three with 12%, although rumours of a romance between her and HRVY are ripe – both young and unattached, we think they’d make a cute couple.

The pair least likely to have an affair are comedian Bill Bailey and dance partner Oti Mabuse (2%), great news for their spouses.

The 2000 respondents in the poll, split equally between men and women, were then asked on who is the sexiest out of all the 2020 Strictly contestants. 

In the women’s category, Ranvir Singh (17%) comes in first place as the sexiest Strictly contestant, who is effortlessly taking the country by storm. We simply cannot get enough of ravishing Ranvir.

Second place as voted by men is professional dancer Katya Jones (15%). Katya was famously unfaithful in the 2018 Strictly series, when she shared a passionate kiss with dance partner comedian Seann Walsh on a night out. To rub salt in the wound – the night it happened was Seann’s, then girlfriends, Rebecca Humphries birthday, ouch. Still, our men adore Katya, she’s exciting, rebellious, with a certain je ne sais quoi.

Eastenders fan favourite Maise Smith comes in third place with a respectful 13%.

First place in the men’s category is Jamie Laing with a whopping 23% of the vote. Unsurprising, Jamie Laing is cheeky, charming and has a cracking sense of humour, features women find irresistable.

Second and third place as voted by women are professional dancers Anton du Beke (21%) and Aljaž Skorjanec (13%).

Men find former home secretary and labour MP Jacqui Smith (1%) least sexy. Bless Jacqui, she’s absolutely lovely, but there just isn’t much sex appeal in politics.

Women find comedian Bill Bailey (2%) the least sexy.
