Doctors and Bartenders are Hot, Coppers are Not – Sexiest Professions Revealed!

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, surveyed 2000 women to discover which male profession is the sexiest in 2021.

Sex and relationships expert for IllicitEncounters.com, Jessica Leoni has compiled and commented on the results below:

Doctors scrub up well with nearly a quarter (24%) of women voting this profession as the sexiest of all. 

Those who enter the field of medicine tend to be compassionate, skilled and very clever – qualities that women find attractive in a man. Add to that an earning potential of five times the average salary – hard to resist. No doubt doctors have won the hearts of many in the last year with how well they have handled the challenges of Covid-19.

Bartenders, who prescribe a very different kind of tonic, sent pulses racing with 19% of the vote. You might be spilling more than a drink at the bar with lonely patrons spilling their hearts out, bartenders are often free therapy for those in need. Good looks and a listening ear are a recipe for attraction. The masses have largely missed the public house bartender with all the lockdown restrictions – so it’s great to see them come in second sexiest overall. 

CEO’s take third place with 15% of the vote, suggesting business men are quite the catch.

Fame and fortune fares well with footballers scoring a handsome 9%, and 4th overal sexiest profession. Football has caused quite a stir recently with the controversial European Super League, though evidently this has not dampened a footballers sex appeal. 

The fireman fantasy is well and truly alive, in fifth place, as 8% of women have the hots for a sexy firefighter.

Teachers come in 6th place (6%), followed by builders in 7th place (5%).

Suprisingly personal trainers score low in the list, coming in 8th place with only 4% of women voting this profession as sexy. Perhaps women feel intimidated by the excessive fitness that comes with a chisled physique.

Government officials rank second to last in 9th place with only 3% of the vote. Suggesting politics is not that sexy afteral.

Contrary to popular belief, policemen are not that desirable, coming in 10th and last place with a mere 1% of the vote. With overall confidence in the police dropping year on year since 2017, as reported by the ONS*, it appears less women find this particular man in uniform appealing.

Shaun Mark “Sean” Bean, an English actor, has been voted the number one sexiest celebrity man over the age of 60 2021, with 19% of the vote. At 61 years old Sean is the second youngest in the poll. Sean has played a variety of goodies and baddies on screen, such as Ned Stark in Game of Thrones (2011), or more recently Mr. Wilford in Snowpiercer (2021) – his fan base is diverse. Sean is a vision of traditional masculinity, rugged and strong, with the impression he is powerful and brave – it is no surprise women find him irresistible. 
 
Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan, internationally acclaimed James Bond star, wins second sexiest (16%). At 67 years old Pierce is the epitome of class, scrubbing up exceptionally well in a suit. Pierce has timeless good looks, he is very suave in an old fashioned way – of course women would be attracted to this traditionally handsome man.
 
The dashing Denzel Washington, a Hollywood icon, claims 3rd sexiest (13%) at 66 years old. Famous for movies such as Malcom X (1992) and The Equalizer (2014). Denzel has boyishly striking features, and seems to have not aged a day in the last decade. With his chiseled physique, and seductive charm, of course women are pining for him.
 
Fourth place goes to Tom Hanks (9%), star of classics such as Forest Gump (1994) and The Green Mile (1999). This American heartthrob holds up very well at 64 years old. Let’s just say, Forest if you have to run, run right this way…
 
In fifth place is English musician Sting, at 69 years old (8%), ex lead singer of the band Police, best known for their signature number one hit written and performed by Sting Every Breath You Take (1983) – a song which went on to be recognized as the most played song on the radio of all time in 2019 by Broadcast Music, Inc.
 
6th place goes to good old Arnie (7%), 73 year old Austrian-American actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, notorious for his role in the Terminator (1984) franchise. Currently the Republican governor of California, clearly this politician has brains as well as beauty. 
 
Liam Neeson, at 68 year old, takes 7th place (5%); Northern Irish actor, known for movies such as Schindler’s List (1993) and Taken (2008). Shortly followed by 65 year old, American actor, Bruce Willis in 8th place (4%) star of critically acclaimed films such as Die Hard (1998), The Sixth Sense (1999) and Looper (2012).
 
Hunky Harrison Ford, American Actor and environmental activist, comes in 9th sexiest overall (3%), at 78 he is the oldest celebrity to make it in the top 10.
 
Last but not least is 60 year old, actor and stand up comedian, Damon Wayans (1%). The youngest in the poll. Damon is known for his stint on Saturday Night Live (1985), as well as multiple television shows including My Wife and Kids (2005).
 
53% of those polled agree that men get better looking with age, and a further 82% of women said they prefer to date someone older than themselves.

Forget the R rate it’s all about the A rate

There’s a new epidemic taking the country by storm. The Adultery rate, or the A rate, has been on a steady increase since January as the R rate has been going down. 

IllicitEncounters.com the UK’s leading dating site for married people, has had a 26% increase in registrations in the first 2 weeks of March alone. 
 

With case numbers at an all-time low compared to the start of the year, more and more married people are choosing now to cheat on their partners. With numbers of adulterers increasing at the same rate as vaccinations. Naturally as more people get vaccinated the figure is bound to go up. As the R rate continues to go down, we’re seeing a massive extramarital explosion of case numbers – when it comes to adultery.
 

Inoculation significantly increases a person’s likelihood of breaking lockdown restrictions for sex. Out of a sample of 1000 members that have already received their first or second dose of the vaccine, 84% of these have admitted to breaking lockdown restrictions to have an affair. Spouses have become fed up with their partners, and are looking to escape dull or unsatisfying marriages. No doubt the pandemic has had an impact on relationships.
 

Of a further sample of 1000 members who are yet to receive the covid-19 vaccine, 35% have broken lockdown restrictions to have an affair.
 

19% said they have wanted to but haven’t had the chance, while the remaining 46% said they plan to break lockdown to cheat as soon as they have been vaccinated. 
 

Collectively, the sample of 2000 were asked whether covid restrictions have had a negative impact on their marriages, with 88% agreeing that the lockdown has put their marriage in peril. Relationships have taken a beating, couples have had enough of each other, if there were cracks already, it can be safe to assume they are craters now.

Samantha, a member using the site said “I had my first dose of the vaccine in February, so has my husband, and as far as we’re concerned that’s us safe. Our elderly parents have all been vaccinated too – so we have no qualms about spreading the virus if we’re only seeing family who can’t get sick.

Most of the men I’m speaking to have already been vaccinated. There is no harm in meeting up for some no strings attached fun. If it’s only us that exist in this vaccinated bubble then there’s no way anyone can get seriously ill – isn’t that the point?’

The Verdict is Out: You CAN Laugh Someone into Bed

The key findings

* 5 out of 6 women agree that a sense of humour is vital when choosing a lover 

* Men aren’t fussed if a woman is funny, but want women to laugh at their jokes!

* 9 out of 10 women would sleep with someone they found physically attractive, if they could make them laugh

* More than a quarter of women would go home with a man they didn’t even fancy, as long as they were funny

The abbreviation LMPO, or laughing my pants off, should be taken more literally than previously considered. Turns out you can laugh someone into bed, actually!

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site for married people, surveyed 600 women and 600 men to find out about what they think when it comes to attraction and humour.

91% of women agree that if they find you physically attractive, if you could make them laugh, they’d go home with you. 

A further 26% said they would sleep with a man who made them laugh, even if they were not that physically attracted to them.

84% of women agree a sense of humour plays a crucial part in choosing a lover.

On the flipside, men aren’t really that bothered about women making jokes – with less than half (48%) stating a woman that’s funny is important to them when looking for a lover.

Having said that, 70% of men agree that they find a woman more attractive if she laughs at their jokes, suggesting that men prefer to have an audience rather than being on the receiving end of a gag. 

The female respondents were also asked to rank certain qualities in order of importance when looking for a lover, ‘good looks’ came on top, followed by ‘sense of humour’ and ‘confidence’.

Surprisingly ‘intelligence’ didn’t score very high, coming in at fourth place. Perhaps, reason being, if somebody is funny they are already presumed to be more intelligent. Researchers in Austria previously uncovered that the funnier you are the higher your IQ is compared to less comical people, particularly if the humor is dark*, stating that ‘Humour processing is a complex information processing task that is dependent on cognitive and emotional aspects…’ Evidently wit and intellect go hand in hand.

Turns out money doesn’t talk, as women voted ‘wealth’ as the least important quality when looking for a lover.

It turns out brunettes have more fun than blondes

The key findings

* A shocking 1 in 3 women who cheat are brunettes
* 2 in 5 men agree brunettes make the best lovers

Contrary to popular belief, it’s really brunettes that have more fun, not blondes!

Out of a sample of 2000 female users on IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site for married people, more brunettes than any other hair colour are looking to cheat!

33% of women in the sample are naturally brunette.

Compared to 28% who are blonde, followed by 25% with black hair, and 9% with grey hair.

Red heads are the most faithful with only 5% looking to have an affair.

The study also found that, from a sample of 200 women, 19% admit to dying their natural hair colour blonde, compared to just 15% of women dying their hair any other colour, suggesting that women believe blonde is desirable. Some iconic blondes include Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly.

They’re not wrong, out of 800 men surveyed, more than half of men (51%) find blondes to be the most attractive.

Red heads came in second most attractive, with 18%, followed by women with naturally black hair with 15%.

Brunettes didn’t even make the top three, landing in fourth place with 14%, followed by women with grey hair (2%).

Despite being less attracted to brunettes, a whopping 41% believe brunettes are better in bed than any other hair colour. 

Reasons given for this were that brunettes are more ‘adventurous’, and ‘open minded’ in between the sheets. Famous brunettes include Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Hurley, and Kate Middleton – The Duchess of Cambridge . 

Blondes come in at 26%, with men stating that blondes are ‘enthusiastic’, and ‘eager to please’. Famous blondes include Scarlett Johansson, Carey Mulligan, and Kate Winslet.

Women with black hair come in at 18%, and are deemed to be ‘dominant’, and ‘kinky’. Famous celebrities with black hair include Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Connelly and Rihanna.

Followed by red heads (12%), with whom getting intimate is described as ‘passionate’ and ‘sensual’. Famous redheads include Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, and Nicole Kidman. 

Bad news for silver vixens, as grey haired women rank last at only 3%, with men describing them as ‘experienced’, but ‘demanding’. Famous grey haired women include Meryl Streep, Nichelle Nichols, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

62% of men said they have a preference of hair colour, however as much as 37% said they tend to date someone that isn’t their type when it comes to this preference.

Freddie, a male member using the site said “I prefer blondes, but I always seem to end up with a brunette. I’m physically more attracted to a blonde, but the connection always feels a bit superficial. Brunettes have more substance, better chat, and keep me more on my toes. Looks can only get you so far.”

Maybe this fact contributes to them making less exciting lovers, if blondes expect men to fancy them, perhaps they don’t bother so much with flirting, which is needed to let sparks fly, and in order to create a build up to mindblowing sex!

Beware of Red Tuesday – top day of the year to be dumped is today

It’s the week of love, but not for everyone.

Beware, as Red Tuesday, only six days before Valentine’s day – is the day you’re most likely to get dumped! As if this year couldn’t get any worse.

36% of people have broken up with their significant other in the week leading up to Valentine’s day. A staggering 2 out of 3 of those have ditched their partners on Red Tuesday (67%).

Results come from a new survey of 2000 members of IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people.

A further 28% ended things in the week leading up to the big day.

5% actually called it quits on Valentines day itself – savage. 

Whilst some of us are preparing gifts and declarations of love – others are scheming on how to escape their relationships.

The most popular way to throw in the towel was by text message 32%, followed by a phone call 24%. 

Only 20% of people broke the news to their partners in person.

A whopping 16% ditch their partner via social media, turns out you only really need 140 characters to break someone’s heart.

6% of people didn’t even deliver the news themselves. Opting instead to get a friend or relative to do it on their behalf – don’t shoot the messenger.

Best to avoid the postman today, as a shocking 2% send a letter to break the news that they no longer want to be together.

Covid-19 is going to make this year’s Red Tuesday that much worse, with stay at home orders, couples who live together will struggle to move on. 

No doubt the pandemic has had an impact on many relationship breakdowns in the course of the last year, with a previous poll of 1500 married affair-seekers, indicating 82% agree their relationship with their spouse has suffered due to the covid restrictions.*

For those of you who thought 13 was an unlucky number, turns out it isn’t! 

Men and women agree that 13 is the ideal number of sexual partners one should have.

IllicitEncounters.com surveyed 1000 men and 1000 women to find out how many sexual partners they’d want their new lover to have. With over half indicating 13 as the optimal number (52%).

67% of women lie about their magic number compared to a mere 13% of men. It could be that women are more cautious in sharing their intimate exploits to appear more conservative to the opposite sex.

73% of the respondents agreed that 18 or more is the number of sexual partners somebody has had, when they become a turn off. A warning sign that perhaps someone is prone to bed-hopping and difficult to please.

A whopping 77% of men said that they would sleep with someone on the first date if there was chemistry, compared to only 39% of women, it seems women are much more selective, and likely to hold out if they are interested in a potential match.

Interesting to note, more men (59%) then women (46%) find that a high number of sexual partners makes someone less desirable, suggesting there is still a social stigma regarding perceptions of promiscuity between genders.

Only a total of 31% of men and women want to know their partner’s sexual history, indicating that people would rather not know then have to deal with their feelings about the matter, especially if they do not like the answer.

A staggering 81% of cheaters admit to spending big on Christmas because they feel guilty for their affair. Only 9% of adulterers go all out on expensive gifts because they enjoy it. 
 
A recent survey conducted with 600 members of married-dating website IllicitEncounters.com has revealed the most popular gifts bought by cheaters this festive season.
 
Jewellery (33%) topped the list of most popular items bought by cheating husbands, followed by gadgets/tech (19%), and fragrances (15%).
 
Cheating wives favoured new gadgets/tech, with 37% getting their spouse a new tech toy. Designer brand underwear also made the list with 23% indicating they bought their husbands posh briefs, followed by fragrances (13%).
 
The average price spent on spouses by love rats in 2020 is £625. 

Men (6%) are more likely than women (1%) to spend under £100 on their spouse this Christmas.

Alexander, a member using IllicitEncounters.com said ‘I love my wife, I’m just not in love with her anymore. She is a wonderful partner and a fantastic mum, and I often feel a guilt-trip coming on for having an affair. Turns out you really can tell whether someone’s going to be good in bed, and it all comes down to where they are from!

Londoners are officially the best between the sheets for both men (22%) and women (20%). The cultural hub of the United Kingdom, there’s simply something for everyone here. London, notorious for being one of the most romantic cities in the world – evokes sex appeal. It isn’t utterly surprising the public voted Londoners as the best lovers, picture this, Hugh Grant, Jude Law, Emilia Clarke and Kate Moss – all Londoners!

Men voted for Mancs in second place with Manchester gaining 18% of the vote, sexy female celebs from Manchester include Gemma Atkinson, Holliday Grainger, and Agyness Deyn – phwoar!

Newcastle comes in as third best lay (14%) for men, home to the likes of Cheryl Cole, Vicky Pattison and Charlotte Crosby.

Men least enjoy sleeping with Brummies, with Birmingham grasping at a mere 2% of the vote

Women voted for Manchester in second (17%) – home to Jamie Lomas, Marcus Rashford and Oasis.

In second place for women come the Scots with Glasgow gaining 15% of the vote, think James Mccavoy, swoon!
