Luke Littler crowned “Sexiest Sportsman” on the planet – beating every six-pack in sport

Darts sensation Luke Littler has pulled off the most unlikely victory of his career yet – being crowned the “World’s Sexiest Sportsman”, beating boxing legend Tyson Fury, NFL heart-throb Travis Kelce and football golden boy Jude Bellingham.

The poll, conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site for married people, asked 2,000 of its UK-based female members to score a 30-strong list of the biggest male sports stars in the world from 1-10 – based on their “sexiness”.

And it was 18-year-old Luke “The Nuke” Littler who stunned everyone by taking the top spot in 2025 – proving that sex appeal isn’t all about six-packs.

Littler saw off fierce competition from 2023’s winner Tyson Fury, who landed in 2nd place, and British F1 star Lando Norris (3rd). In a further twist, darts rival Luke Humphries made it to 4th place, whilst Spanish tennis ace Carlos Alcaraz completed the top 5.

Jessica Leoni, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, credits Littler’s rise to his unapologetic authenticity and his complete lack of pretense, which she says women find deeply attractive.

Leoni commented: “The results are definitive: women are utterly over the chiseled, air-brushed look. They are craving authenticity, approachability, and confidence – and Luke Littler delivers all three in spades.

1 in 4 women use Ring doorbell to catch cheating partners, study reveals

* New research has been released following news that a Premier League footballer was caught cheating on his wife after she reviewed their Ring doorbell footage.

* 65% of women have caught their partner cheating thanks to technology.

* Ring doorbells are now the number one way women are busting their partner’s affair (24%).

* 38% of women suspicious of their partner’s shenanigans have gifted them gadgets that make it easier to discreetly keep tabs on them.

In a world driven by technology and AI, keeping secrets under wraps has become more challenging than ever – especially for those cheating on their partners.

It turns out the pursuit of secret affairs has become a high-stakes game, with an ever-increasing chance of being exposed, and it’s all thanks to tech. 

New research by extramarital dating site IllicitEncounters.com found women are turning into digital detectives, with 65% saying they busted their partner’s affair by using technology.

38% of women even admitted to gifting their partners gadgets that could help them keep an eye on what they’re getting up to.

The study which involved 1,500 members of the website was conducted following news that a Premier League footballer was caught cheating on his wife after she went through footage recorded on their Ring doorbell.

The poll found that Ring doorbells are the top way women are discovering their partner’s affair (24%). Alexa is also a top choice (18%) followed by Whatsapp and social media alerts popping up on lock screens (13%) which are a big give away when it comes to exposing cheats.

There are more novel and much more sophisticated ways people are getting caught out these days too – Fitness watches (8%) and Find My Phone location tracking (7%) also made it on the list of how cheats are being busted by their wives. 

On the other hand, old-school methods like checking browser history (11%), emails (9%) and call logs (5%) are still trusty ways women are discovering their partners are love rats.

And 2% of people even admitted to using AI voice cloning (2%) to discover whether partners are being unfaithful.

Jasmine, 37 from Somerset, a member of IllicitEncounters, shared her story on the topic saying, “ I never imagined I’d discover my husband’s affair through our Ring doorbell. I was checking the footage to see if a package had arrived, but instead, I saw him sneaking a woman into our home while I was out. 

My heart sank as I watched them walk in, laughing and holding hands, like they’d done this before. The betrayal was right there in front of me, undeniable and painful. 

Rather than tell my husband what I saw, my immediate reaction was to have a revenge affair. I don’t feel particularly guilty about it because ultimately if he does find out, I’ve got video evidence of what he’s been up to.”

Fiona, 37 from Windsor, another member of the extramarital dating site who took part in the study said, “I found out my partner was cheating on me one weekend when I went to visit my mum in Cornwall, and it was all thanks to Alexa. I’d had my suspicions about what he was getting up to, so as soon as I got home I took a peek at the voice history log.

That’s when I found out he’d asked Alexa to play our ‘sexy’ playlist we’d put together – a bit weird because as far as I knew, it was something we’d only listen to when things got steamy between us. I discovered you can actually listen to Alexa recordings, and when he asked to play that specific playlist I heard a woman laugh in the background.

When I brought it up, he unsurprisingly came clean about it straightaway – I mean he couldn’t really deny it, the proof was there!”

Sex and relationships expert for IllicitEncounters.com, Jessica Leoni, commented on the study, “Technology has advanced in ways we could never have imagined over the past few years, and in some cases it’s made it super easy to catch cheaters in the act – though I have to say, it doesn’t appear to be having an effect on the number of people having affairs as the figure continues to rise.

The Premier League footballer caught out by his Ring doorbell scored an embarrassing own-goal, but the results of our study show he’s not the only one. It’s also a bit of a modern-day cautionary tale: if you’re going to break the rules, don’t forget the cameras are always watching!”

Study reveals the surprising effect that Euro 2024 is having on marriages

Ah, the Euros! A time for camaraderie, national pride, and… unexpected infidelity? According to experts, the Euro 2024 tournament has sparked a surprising increase in extramarital affairs, particularly amongst women. As the football frenzy grips Europe, it seems the beautiful game might be playing havoc off the pitch as well.

A significant spike in activity has been observed on the UK’s largest extramarital dating site, IllicitEncounters.com between 7pm and 11pm every day since the football tournament began, coinciding with the evening match slots – a surge especially prominent during matches featuring England and Scotland. 

It seems that when the referee blows the whistle, some fans are more than ready to blow off steam in other ways, with data showing a 45% increase in messaging during football games this week, with peak activity during halftime. 

Scotland’s dramatic last-minute defeat on Sunday and subsequent elimination from the Euros saw a record-breaking increase in online activity among Scots, as disappointed fans turned to their devices in droves seeking comfort.

In fact, the top three cities experiencing the highest increase in site activity during Euro 2024 are Glasgow (42% increase), Aberdeen (39% increase), and London (36% increase), with the highs and lows in England and Scotland’s matches clearly having an effect in these urban hubs.

According to a poll of 500 new female members using the affairs site, 76% admitted that feeling excluded and ignored by their football-obsessed partners drove them to seek attention elsewhere.

The preference for football over intimacy is also creating a notable divide in many relationships, with 54% of women stating that their partners become unbearable while watching football, leading to an uptick in arguments during the tournament.

For men, “going to the pub” has become the ultimate alibi, with a whopping 68% using this excuse throughout the Euros, providing them with the perfect cover to slip away for a few hours without arousing suspicion.

When it comes to football, the discussion about the GOAT is a continuous debate, but the UK’s largest married dating site, IllicitEncounters.com, has found the GOAT in the world of cheating: Manchester City fans.

The poll conducted by the website asked 2000 members which team they support, with Manchester City fans topping the league with 39% of the vote.

Arsenal fans came second in the list of biggest football fan cheats with 22%. Much like their position in the league, they haven’t quite managed to make it to the top.

If your partner supports Newcastle, on the other hand, you can rest easy as they’ve been declared the most faithful with just 2% of the vote.

In a second poll, the same pool of members was asked which match result made them more likely to message their mistress. Team triumphs were the biggest factor for contacting a secret lover with a notable 79%. If your partner’s team draws, there’s far less cause for concern, with just 2% spurred on to reach out to their fling.

Oliver, a member of Illicitencounters.com, said, “I’m a Cityzen through and through. I’ll be honest, when City got through to the semi-finals of the Champions League I went absolutely nuts. A lot of guys will be able to relate – the rush you get when your team scores is something else, let alone when they win. It’s like I’m on cloud nine, so reality just flies out the window. When I’m on a winning high, that’s when I get that YOLO feeling and get in touch with my mistress. The wife doesn’t notice because she just thinks I’m in the lads group chat celebrating. It literally is a win-win.”

Another user of the site, Noah, commented “Winning is like a drug: once you get a taste of it, you can’t stop. That’s exactly how I feel about having a secret relationship outside of my marriage. Any thoughts about potential consequences are washed away by the thrill of victory. So, if your partner never misses a match, you might want to secretly support the team they’re playing against – just to be on the safe side, otherwise their team might not be the only one scoring that night.”

In advance of the FA Cup final match this weekend between Liverpool and Chelsea, IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, polled 1200 female members to determine who the nation finds the sexiest out of the players from the Liverpool and Chelsea football teams.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Jessica Leoni, has compiled and commented on the results below:

Chelsea’s goalkeeper, Édouard Mendy, comes in first place with 17% of the vote. Mendy’s is the story of the underdog, who went from nearly quitting football and having to go on the dole, all whilst expecting his first child, to being at the top of his game. His rise to football stardom is admirable. Tall, dark and handsome, paired with a sexy french accent – no wonder Brits are entranced by Édouard Mendy.

A close second with 16% of the vote is Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah. Salah is undeniably sexy, the beard, the hair, abs so firm you could literally grate cheese off – graphic but accurate. Indeed, Brits are besotted by this Egyptian God.

In third place (13%) is Chelsea’s Jorginho, whose real name is Jorge Luis Frello Filho. Last year Jorginho won the award for Best Fifa Men’s Player and the UEFA Player of the Year. This young, gorgeous Italian stallion has stolen England’s hearts with his undeniable football skills, along with his chiseled physique and cheeky smile. 

Fourth place is Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson (11%).

Fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth, are all Chelsea players – Timo Werner (9%), Kai Havertz (8.5%), Reece James (6.5%) and Mason Mount (6%).

Second, to last is Liverpool’s Alisson Becker with 4%. Last place and tenth is the Liverpool player Trent Alexander Arnold (2%). 

The respondents were also asked to vote on the sexiest manager from each team. A whopping 68% voted Liverpool’s Jürgen Klopp sexy compared to only 32% voting for Chelsea’s Thomas Tuschel. 

Jürgen Klopp is a grey-haired German hunk who looks strong and manly, a force to be reckoned with, top this off with a sexy pair of specs and the man exudes intelligence and confidence. 

Thomas Tuchel, also German, on the other hand, is just not that sexy. How can the nation be a fan when his own team hates him for ruining their day off recently – he gives me strict teacher vibes putting Chelsea in detention like that!

A doctor, a CEO and a football player walk into a bar, aren’t you spoiled for choice.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, surveyed 2000 women to discover which male profession is the sexiest in 2021. 

Sex and relationships expert for IllicitEncounters.com, Jessica Leoni has compiled and commented on the results below:

Doctors scrub up well with nearly a quarter (24%) of women voting this profession as the sexiest of all. 

Those who enter the field of medicine tend to be compassionate, skilled and very clever – qualities that women find attractive in a man. Add to that an earning potential of five times the average salary – hard to resist. No doubt doctors have won the hearts of many in the last year with how well they have handled the challenges of Covid-19.

Bartenders, who prescribe a very different kind of tonic, sent pulses racing with 19% of the vote. You might be spilling more than a drink at the bar with lonely patrons spilling their hearts out, bartenders are often free therapy for those in need. Good looks and a listening ear are a recipe for attraction. The masses have largely missed the public house bartender with all the lockdown restrictions – so it’s great to see them come in second sexiest overall. 

CEO’s take third place with 15% of the vote, suggesting business men are quite the catch.

Fame and fortune fares well with footballers scoring a handsome 9%, and 4th overal sexiest profession. Football has caused quite a stir recently with the controversial European Super League, though evidently this has not dampened a footballers sex appeal. 

The fireman fantasy is well and truly alive, in fifth place, as 8% of women have the hots for a sexy firefighter.

Teachers come in 6th place (6%), followed by builders in 7th place (5%).

Suprisingly personal trainers score low in the list, coming in 8th place with only 4% of women voting this profession as sexy. Perhaps women feel intimidated by the excessive fitness that comes with a chisled physique.

Government officials rank second to last in 9th place with only 3% of the vote. Suggesting politics is not that sexy afteral.

Contrary to popular belief, policemen are not that desirable, coming in 10th and last place with a mere 1% of the vote. With overall confidence in the police dropping year on year since 2017, as reported by the ONS*, it appears less women find this particular man in uniform appealing.
