Labour voters top cheat charts, while Reform UK supporters are Britain’s most faithful, poll reveals

* Labour voters top the infidelity table, with over a quarter (26%) admitting to having had an affair.

* Reform UK supporters are revealed as the nation’s most faithful, with a mere 5% confessing to cheating.

* Politics is a passion-killer for many, as 27% say political rows at home have pushed their relationship to breaking point.

* Study conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site

New research suggests that a voter’s choice at the ballot box might predict more than just their views on the economy – it could reveal their likelihood of staying faithful.

A survey involving 2,400 members of the UK’s largest affairs site IllicitEncounters.com blew the lid off voters’ private lives, revealing a steamy political divide.

Topping the cheat charts, a whopping 26% of Labour voters admitted to being unfaithful to a partner, leaving Tory voters in the dust at 18%, and Lib Dems trailing at 15%.

Green voters also showed a surprisingly spicy streak, with 14% admitting to infidelity. But at the other end of the table, Reform UK supporters emerged as the most faithful of all, with just 5% saying they’ve cheated on their partner – making them statistically the least likely to hop into bed with someone else.

The poll also revealed that nearly a third (24%) of people say they’d be more tempted to cheat with someone who shares their political views, whilst 27% say political rows at home have pushed their relationship to breaking point.

Serial cheater Mark*, 38, a Labour-voting Londoner, says he’s just following party orders. “I live my life by the slogan ‘For the Many, Not the Few’, so why should I just stick to one woman? That sounds a bit like a monopoly to me.

If being a ‘love rat’ is wrong, I don’t want to be right. I’m just a ‘progressive’ in the streets and a ‘revolutionary’ in the sheets!”

Jessica Leoni, sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com, says the biggest shock isn’t Labour topping the table – it’s who’s at the bottom.

“Let’s be honest – if you’d asked people to guess which voters were the most faithful, very few would have put Reform UK at the top,” she says. “Yet here they are, miles ahead of everyone else.”

She adds: “Labour voters are out there living up to their passionate reputation, the Tories are quietly misbehaving in the background… and Reform supporters are apparently staying home with a cup of tea. Who knew?”

Politicians named Britain’s most likely profession to cheat, study reveals

* People working across politics – from MPs and councillors to civil servants – topped the list, with more than a quarter linking the sector to infidelity.
* High-pressure, long-hour professions linked to trust and authority, including police, doctors and teachers, also ranked highly.
* Experts say secrecy, stress and blurred work-life boundaries create the perfect conditions for affairs to develop.
* Study conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site

People working in politics – from MPs and councillors to civil servants and policy advisers – have topped a new and eyebrow-raising league table of Britain’s most unfaithful professions, according to a poll by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site.

The survey of 3,000 UK adults found that those employed across the political sector are more likely to cheat than workers in any other profession, with 28% of respondents linking infidelity to roles within politics. Long hours, high-pressure environments and a culture of discretion were repeatedly cited as factors that make affairs more likely.

It’s not just people in politics keeping secrets, however. The research suggests that professions traditionally associated with trust and authority also feature heavily on the list. Police officers ranked second, with 23% of respondents associating the profession with infidelity, followed closely by doctors on 21%, where shift work, emotional intensity and irregular hours were frequently blamed.

Teachers also made the top ten, with 18% saying the profession is prone to cheating. Meanwhile, lawyers (15%) and those working in finance (14%) were also flagged as high-risk, with ambition, long days and blurred lines between work and social life cited as contributing factors.

Perhaps more surprisingly, roles rooted in care and public service still scored highly. Nurses (11%) and social workers (9%) both featured, while journalists (9%) and the military (8%) completed the top ten.

Jessica Leoni, sex and relationships expert for IllicitEncounters.com, says the results are less about profession stereotypes and more about environment. “When we talk about politics here, we’re not just talking about MPs in Westminster,” she explains. “We mean anyone working within the political system – civil servants, advisers, councillors and policy teams – roles that often involve long hours, emotional intensity and a strong expectation of discretion.”

She adds, “Professions that combine pressure, power and secrecy consistently rank highest when it comes to infidelity. When work becomes all-consuming and personal lives take a back seat, it’s actually often with colleagues – people who understand that pressure – where boundaries start to blur. I mean, Matt Hancock had an affair with an aide just a few years ago… do we really other people in politics haven’t been doing the same thing behind closed doors since then?”

‘Sexiest Politician’ Debate Makes It to Parliament

* The annual poll by IllicitEncounters.com crowned Nigel Farage and Angela Rayner Britain’s ‘sexiest politician’.

* Results from the poll sparked a media frenzy, with discussions about the results aired on ITV’s Lorraine and This Morning, as well as Jeremy Vine’s show on Channel 5.

* The poll also became a talking point in the Houses of Commons when Reform MP Richard Tice brought up the topic in Parliament.

It’s the story that got everyone talking this morning – from daytime TV sofas to the green benches of Westminster. The results of this year’s annual UK’s Sexiest Politicians poll by IllicitEncounters.com didn’t just light up the press – it even made its way into the House of Commons.

That’s right. Reform MP Richard Tice stood up in Parliament this morning and, with a glint of mischief in his eye, declared: “It’s important to celebrate the awards given to honourable colleagues. So will the Leader join me in congratulating both the Deputy Prime Minister and also the honourable member for Clacton for winning the award in their respective categories as Britain’s sexiest politicians, on that well-known website IllicitEncounters.com? Does she recommend they have dinner together?”

The line earned chuckles across the chamber – and sealed the poll’s place in political pop culture history.

The cheeky parliamentary moment capped off a media frenzy that saw the poll discussed everywhere from ITV’s Lorraine and This Morning to Jeremy Vine’s Channel 5 show, proving political sex appeal is no longer just tabloid fodder but mainstream conversation.

At the heart of the commotion? Nigel Farage and Angela Rayner, who were crowned the UK’s sexiest male and female politicians for 2025. Farage retained his title for the second year running, proving once again that his signature rebellious charm and unapologetic swagger haven’t lost their edge.

Rayner, meanwhile, soared from fifth place last year to first, her fiery wit and fierce authenticity striking a chord with admirers across the political spectrum.

Not far behind Farage was Robert Jenrick, who narrowly missed out on the top spot by a single percentage point. Also climbing the ranks were James Cleverly, jumping from seventh to third, and newcomers Dan Aldridge and James McMurdock, who made bold debuts in the top five.

On the women’s list, Reform UK’s Sarah Pochin made an immediate impact with a second-place debut, nudging last year’s winner, Suella Braverman, into third. Labour’s Jade Botterill and Conservative Julia Lopez rounded out the top five.

Jessica Leoni, sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com, said: “When we first ran this poll, we never imagined it would end up being spoken about in the House of Commons – but here we are. Whether it’s on Lorraine, This Morning or in Westminster, it’s clear this light-hearted look at power and attraction has struck a national chord.

Farage holding onto his crown, Angela Rayner rocketing to the top, and Robert Jenrick becoming a surprise heartthrob – it all proves that in politics, it’s not just policies that turn heads. Power, presence and a bit of cheek clearly go a long way.”

UK’s Sexiest Politicians For 2025 Revealed

* Nigel Farage and Angela Rayner are officially the UK’s sexiest politicians.

* The Reform UK leader has managed to hold on to his crown for the second year running, whilst Angela Rayner shot to the top after coming 5th in 2024.

* The Tories remain the sexiest party (33%), but Labour (31.5%) and Reform UK (27.5%) follow closely behind.

* The results come from an annual survey of members on IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people.

The UK’s ‘sexiest politician’ annual poll by IllicitEncounters.com has revealed some surprising shifts this year – but one man in particular is standing firm.

Nigel Farage has once again been crowned the UK’s sexiest male politician, securing 21% of the vote. The Reform UK leader, whose cheeky grin and maverick charm seem immune to fading appeal, topped the male rankings for the second year running.

Hot on his heels – just one tantalising percentage point behind – was Conservative Robert Jenrick, who earned 20% of the vote, firmly establishing himself as Westminster’s newest pin-up.

In a major leap, James Cleverly has surged from seventh place last year to third in this year’s poll. Labour’s Dan Aldridge and Reform UK’s James McMurdock made their debut on the list, securing fourth (12%) and fifth place (10%) respectively.

Notably, Prime Minister Keir Starmer saw a steep decline in votes, falling from 3rd place in 2024 to 9th in this year’s rankings.

Among female politicians, Angela Rayner’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric. Labour’s deputy Prime Minister has surged from fifth place last year to claim the top spot, as her blend of working-class grit, fiery wit, and unapologetic passion appears to have won over male voters in droves.

Following closely behind was Reform UK’s Sarah Pochin, who took 19% of the vote, making a striking debut in this year’s poll.

Suella Braverman – last year’s winner – still holds strong in third place with 15%, Labour’s Jade Botterill followed in fourth with 14%, and Conservative Julia Lopez rounded out the top five with 12%.

Overall, the Tories once again came out on top taking 33% of the total vote share across both male and female categories, making it the sexiest party – but only just. Labour followed closely behind (31.5%) and surprisingly, Reform UK is inching closer with 27.5% of the vote.

Commenting on the results of this year’s poll, Jessica Leoni, sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com said, “Farage has proved once again he’s the political equivalent of that leather jacket in your wardrobe – slightly controversial, impossible to get rid of, and somehow still looking good after all these years.

In politics, power is an aphrodisiac – and our members are never shy about telling us who gets their hearts racing. This year’s results show that confidence, conviction, and a little controversy remain irresistible traits.”

Amanda Holden voted UK’s “sexiest woman” in 2025’s surprise-filled poll

* Amanda Holden tops the first annual “UK’s Sexiest Woman” poll.

* Lily Allen, Stacey Solomon and Angela Rayner join her in the Top 5, alongside a mix of TV stars and unexpected political picks.

* 2,000 men rated 50 of the UK’s most famous and culturally relevant women on sex appeal.

* Poll conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site.

TV royalty Amanda Holden has been crowned the UK’s sexiest woman, topping IllicitEncounters.com’s first-ever poll dedicated to female public figures turning heads in 2025.

In the site’s inaugural Sexiest Woman poll, 2,000 male members were asked to rate 50 of the most talked-about women in British public life – from TV favourites and pop stars to politicians and presenters – on a scale of 1 to 10 based on their sex appeal.

Amanda Holden took the crown ahead of the release of Netflix’s controversial new reality show, Cheat: Unfinished Business, thanks to her cheeky confidence and age-defying presence. She was closely followed by pop provocateur Lily Allen (2nd), while Stacey Solomon (3rd) proved her down-to-earth warmth and Essex charm has huge appeal.

One of the biggest surprises was Angela Rayner, the Deputy Prime Minister, who claimed 4th place – upending political stereotypes and showing that no-nonsense sass and a killer blowdry are irresistible in 2025.

Meanwhile, This Morning’s Cat Deeley and TV it-girl Maya Jama made strong showings at 5th and 6th respectively. In the survey which asked men who (if given the chance) they would choose to have an affair with, Holly Willoughby, Zara McDermott and Carol Vorderman rounded out the Top 10.

GB News presenter, Ellie Costello, landed just outside the Top 10 in 11th place – narrowly missing out on a top-tier finish. Meanwhile, Eastenders star, Patsy Palmer, made a surprise re-entry into public affection after her stay in the Big Brother house, coming in strong at 13th.

Fashion icon Alexa Chung (17th) and actress-activist Jameela Jamil (19th) also featured high on the list, showing that brains and bold opinions never go unnoticed.

Female politicians didn’t go unnoticed, with Suella Braverman taking 12th place while Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves, found herself at 48th.

Meghan Markle’s sparkle appears to be fading as she landed in last place at 50th. Meanwhile, Princess Kate fared slightly better than her sister-in-law, coming in at 27th.

The results come hot on the heels of last week’s ‘UK’s Sexiest Man’ results, which saw Piers Morgan rocket from 40th to 1st place, proving that controversy, confidence and charisma are firmly back in fashion.

Jessica Leoni, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, said: “This year’s list proves that men’s tastes are evolving – and fast. Whether it’s Amanda Holden’s glam power or Angela Rayner’s political punch, what’s clear is that confidence and individuality are the new sexy. We’ve seen the same with Piers Morgan on the men’s list – there’s a growing appetite for personality over polish.”

UK’s Sexiest Politicians For 2024 Revealed

* Nigel Farage and Suella Braverman are officially the UK’s sexiest politicians.

* With 23% of the female vote and 21% of the male vote, Nigel Farage and Suellla Braverman top the list.

* The Tories beat Labour as the sexiest overall party.

* The results come from a survey of members on IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people.

With the general election just weeks away, IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, has asked its members to take part in a poll to find out which politician they find sexiest.

In a surprise twist, the ever-controversial Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, has clinched the top spot, capturing 23% of the female vote.

Not far behind, rugged and ready Conservative Johnny Mercer snagged second place (18%), with his military background clearing striking a chord with the ladies.

Hot on his heels is Labour leader Keir Starmer, who pulled in 16% of the vote, followed oddly, by Jacob Rees-Mogg (12%) whose old-school charm is seemingly setting hearts aflutter.

Conservative Ben Everett, who came under fire for posting ‘thirst trap’ photos on Instagram in November last year made the top 5 with 9% of the vote.

Sadly for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, his star seems to have dimmed since 2020, when he topped the poll, this year gaining just 3% of the vote.

For men, the sexiest female politician is, rather controversially, Conservative Suella Braverman (21%).

Close on her heels is Labour’s Rosena Allin-Khan with 19%. Dr. Allin-Khan’s blend of compassion, intelligence, and striking looks clearly makes her a standout politician.

Conservative Esther McVey and former GB News presenter rounded off the top 3 with 15% of the vote.

Overall, the Tories came out on top taking 51% of the total vote share across both male and female categories, making them the sexiest party, compared to a disappointing 28.5% for Labour.

Jessica Leoni, sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com said, “The latest poll on the UK’s sexiest people in politics has thrown a bit of a curveball with Nigel Farage and Suella Braverman crowned the reigning hotties.

When it comes to what makes politicians sexy, it’s not just about looks – it’s about swagger, confidence, and a dash of power that gets the heart racing. Nigel Farage, with his unapologetic, cheeky grin and devil-may-care attitude, seems to channel that bad boy charm women can’t resist – and his appearance on ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ last year clearly worked wonders for his image.

Meanwhile, Suella Braverman’s poised, no-nonsense demeanour exudes a fierce passion and authority that’s seemingly undeniably attractive for a lot of men.

Politics isn’t just about policies – it’s also a stage where charisma shines, and let’s face it, a little bit of controversy adds a spark of sexual intrigue too.

Our poll will be running for our members right until election day, and I have no doubt we’ll see these politicians shuffling up and down this list based on their actions over the next couple of weeks!”

Top of the Crops – Farmers Declared Sexiest Male Profession

* Farmers have been voted the sexiest profession in annual survey

* Doctors and chefs round off the top 3, followed by firemen and footballers

* Politicians rank last with just 1% of women finding them sexy

* Results come from a study conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, surveyed 2000 women to discover which male profession is the sexiest in 2023.

Sex and relationships expert for IllicitEncounters.com, Jessica Leoni has compiled and commented on the results below:

Farmers are top of the crops with 21% of the vote in a survey of the sexiest professions.

It turns out those hard-working, strong-armed farmers are what women want. With the likes of Jeremy Clarkson and Blur bassist Alex James getting involved and reaping the rewards of farming, it’s no surprise ladies can’t resist. Hunter boots and Barbour jackets are in, Savile Row suits and leather brogues are out.

Doctor, Doctor! Unsurprisingly, it’s medics who get women’s pulses racing, coming close second with 16% of the vote. Doctors are officially hot, so if you’re dating one make sure you’ve got some paracetamol to hand and keep that temperature down.

No room left for seconds here, chefs are in respectable third place with 14% of the vote. They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and it seems the same goes for women.

It’s getting hot in here! Firemen have been voted 4th sexiest profession (12%). It seems the idea of being scooped up into those muscly arms and away from danger is what turns women on.

Setting a good example with a place in the top 5 of the sexiest professions, teachers are awarded with 10% of the vote. With a show of hands, who could resist?!

This one’s put a spanner in the works. Plumbers come in 5th place (8%).

Not making a big impression are influencers, who are 6th overall sexiest profession with 5% of the vote.

Hairdressers didn’t make the cut, with just 4% of the vote and taking 7th place.

Not so sexy, bankers don’t have the appeal they used to with a measly 3% of the vote in 8th place. With the cost of living crisis, inflation and interest rates on the up, it’s no surprise ladies have had enough of all things finance.

Lagging behind in 10th place with just 1% of the vote, politicians won’t be able to talk their way out of this one. All words, no action – can we blame women for wanting more?

Times have changed. Women aren’t as dazzled by fancy suits and power anymore. Physical strength, a nurturing nature and intelligence are now the traits to look out for in an ideal partner.

Married to a Conservative? They’re probably Cheating on you!

* More than half of all married cheats are Conservative voters

* Labour supporters are the second biggest love-rats with nearly two-thirds of them women

* Out of the top 6 political cheats, those that vote Green are the most faithful

* Study conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site for extramarital affairs

If affairs are good enough for Boris, they’re good enough for his voters right? The public should have known that he is not to be trusted a long time ago,  judging by all the sordid affairs and betrayals in Boris’ private life.

IllicitEncounters.com, a website dedicated to married men and women seeking affairs, surveyed 2000 members (split equally by gender) to shed light on the correlation between political affiliation and infidelity.

Conservative voters are hands down the biggest love-rats in Britain. An astonishing 57% of adulterers align their political views with this right-wing party. There is little difference between men and women in the poll, though there were slightly more male conservative voters (53%) than females (47%). We have contacted the Conservative’s press office regarding the findings but they are yet to respond to a request for comment.

The second most unfaithful are Labour supporters (19%), with nearly two-thirds of these women (63%) compared to men (37%).

Liberal Democrats make up 9% of adulterers, with women (62%) taking the lead compared to men (38%).

Fourth place is the Scottish National Party supporters with 7% overall (made up of 59% men, 41% women), followed by the DUP 3.5% (made up of 56% men, 44% women).

Lastly, a meagre 0.5% of adulterers associate with the Green Party, making them the least likely to cheat in the top 6, (made up of men 20%, women 80%).

Jessica Leoni, sex and relationships expert for IllicitEncounters.com, said “From party gate to infidelity. Juicy scandals are ripe in our currently elected government, who seem to think they’re above the law, setting the bar rather low for what is permissible behaviour in society.

Conservative? Perhaps it’s simply in your nature to cheat. Personally, I think it’s because they think they can get away with it, like Matt Hancock sneaking around at work.

Lies, betrayals and debauchery are ripe. Politicians behaving badly, it’s rather like a reality TV show, we simply cannot get enough of.

It’s not just party-gate that happens behind closed doors, affairs do too! As if things couldn’t get any worse for the tories. Want your partner to be faithful? Marry Green!”

UK’s Sexiest Politicians For 2021 Revealed

* Johnny Mercer and Dehenna Davison top annual list of UK’s sexiest politicians

* Conservatives Sajid Javid and Theresa Coffey voted least desirable

* Conservatives are the overall sexiest male and female politicians

* Poll comes from 2000 members on IllicitEncounters.com the UK’s leading married dating site

When it comes to political opinions we’ve all got one, but what is hard to tell is what is truly right or wrong. One thing is for certain though and that’s who is crowned sexiest politician in the UK 2021.

The recent survey was conducted with 2000 adulterers, split equally by male and female respondents, on IllicitEncounters.com, the U.K’s leading dating website for married people.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Jessica Leoni has compiled and commented on the results below:

In the men’s sexiest category, new entry Johnny Mercer comes in first place with 22% of the vote, dethroning last year’s heartthrob Dishy Rishi Sunak who has toppled down to second sexiest. There is no denying it, Johnny Mercer has smouldering good looks and charm – in fact with Daniel Craig stepping down from the Mr.Bond franchise – some may be forgiven to think that Mr. Bond, Johnny Bond has a good ring to it – especially with his military background.

Close second with 20% of the vote is Conservative Rishi Sunak. Since replacing Sajid Javid as chancellor last year he has quickly become a household name earning himself the nickname Dishy Rishy. Not only is he a very good-looking candidate, the country simply trusts him to get the job done – and boy does Rishi deliver. No wonder women all over the UK are pining over him.

In third place is our prime minister, Conservative leader Boris Johnson (17%). British women just cannot make their mind up about BoJo – circa ‘19 he’s hot, circa ‘20 he’s not and now he’s back to bedable in 2021. It’s not easy to appease everybody as leader of the country and the pandemic really hindered dear Johnson’s reputation for a while, however, he’s turned it around and become a hit with the ladies once again.

In fourth place, down from third last year, is Conservative Tobias Ellwood with 13% of the vote. Ex-army captain in the The Royal Green Jackets, I can imagine many women picture Tobias Ellwood in uniform – a real life action man. Indeed, he does scrub up well in a suit too. Refined, polite and possessing a very British sophistication – no wonder the nation adores him.

Fifth place goes to the mayor of Manchester and the only Labour candidate to make the hot list this year Andy Burnham (10%). A mayor of the people affectionately dubbed ‘King of the North’ Andy Burnham won the hearts of Manchester locals as he fought for funding last year during the coronavirus pandemic.

Last but not least is the deputy prime minister, Conservative, Dominic Raab (8%).

Participants of the survey were also asked to vote for the least sexy politicians. With our Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Sajid Javid Conservative MP, selected as the least desirable male with an overwhelming 31% of the vote. He may have given us our freedom in the pandemic but sadly he has not been repaid in votes regarding his sex appeal.

Second least sexy is Labour’s Ed Miliband (19%) and Labour’s Sadiq Khan (17%) in third.

Liberal Democrat Ed Davey came in fourth least desirable (15%).

The only remaining politician from last year’s least sexy list, although dethroned from last year’s number one spot, is Conservative’s Michael Gove in fifth with 6% of the vote. Last year satirical show Spitting Image did him an honour of creating a puppet in his name – which Gove said he was ‘incredibly flattered’ over – though we cannot imagine what is so flattering about a face made out of genitals. Suffice to say, the ladies aren’t all that interested in going clubbing with Gove at the Bohemia nightclub in Aberdeen any time soon.

Last but not least in the least sexy male politicians is Jacob Rees-Mogg (4%) in sixth position overall. If he can fall asleep on the frontbench at the commons perhaps he would do the same on a date, not very impressive – hey?

For the female entrants in the most sexy politician poll the overall winner is new entry Conservative Dehenna Davison (29%) knocking last year’s winner – Labour’s Lisa Nandy off the podium.

Labour’s Dr Rosena Allin Khan, Shadow Secretary of State for Mental Health, holds firm second place two years in a row, up 1% since last year at 21% of the vote. Dr Rosena Allin Khan took upon herself to pull 12 hour shifts in St Georges Hospital in Tooting to help with the covid-19 crisis last year – and absolutely deserves recognition, it’s wonderful she is being noticed by the public for her selfless acts of care and duty.

Last year’s winner Lisa Nandy, Labour MP, drops down to third overall sexiest female politician with 17% of the vote. What’s not to like? Lisa Nandy is clearly popular, sporting that girl-next-door, could do no wrong look – no wonder British men are attracted to her.

The former care minister, Conservative’s Helen Whately places fourth sexiest female politician (16%). Perhaps coming onto this year’s list as a sympathy vote for the bullying she endured from Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain.

First minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon is the fifth sexiest female politician (6%). She is firm but kind and really gives the impression that she cares about her people.

Conservative Victoria Atkins, Minister of State for Prisons and Probation, comes in sixth place with 5% of the vote.

In the female category, the least sexy politician award goes to Conservative’s Thérèse Coffey (23%). If Thérèse Coffey’s mortifying duet with Matt Hancock of “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen is anything to go by – then we are really not that surprised. Although not crowned the Karaoke Queen at least she has come first in one competition.

Another Conservative, Home Secretary, Priti Patel comes in second least sexy female politician (19%) – bumped up from fourth least desirable last year. Let’s be honest, Priti Patel or ‘the wicked witch of the south’ is actually not that bad looking but has some pretty unpopular and often controversial views which could contribute to her votes as least desirable. Some of which include her heartless stance on immigration and criminals. Once quoted as wanting the death penalty introduced – you can be forgiven for not wanting to date her.

Remaining in third least desirable two years in a row and with 18% of the vote is Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities Anneliese Dodds.

Fourth place is Labour’s Angela Rayner (14%), followed by Anne-Marie Trevelyan in fifth (10%) and lastly Liberal Democrat Wera Hobhouse takes sixth place (3%)

The ideal number of sexual partners has been revealed, and 13 is the magic number

* Men and women both agree that 13 is the optimal number of people you should sleep with!
* 18 partners and over, is when someone’s past sexual escapades become a turn off
* 2 out of 3 women lie about their magic number, compared to only 1 out of 8 men
*  Only 31% of us actually want to know about our partners sexual history
* Results come from new survey by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people

For those of you who thought 13 was an unlucky number, turns out it isn’t!

Men and women agree that 13 is the ideal number of sexual partners one should have.

IllicitEncounters.com surveyed 1000 men and 1000 women to find out how many sexual partners they’d want their new lover to have. With over half indicating 13 as the optimal number (52%).

67% of women lie about their magic number compared to a mere 13% of men. It could be that women are more cautious in sharing their intimate exploits to appear more conservative to the opposite sex.

73% of the respondents agreed that 18 or more is the number of sexual partners somebody has had, when they become a turn off. A warning sign that perhaps someone is prone to bed-hopping and difficult to please.

A whopping 77% of men said that they would sleep with someone on the first date if there was chemistry, compared to only 39% of women, it seems women are much more selective, and likely to hold out if they are interested in a potential match.

Interesting to note, more men (59%) then women (46%) find that a high number of sexual partners makes someone less desirable, suggesting there is still a social stigma regarding perceptions of promiscuity between genders.

Only a total of 31% of men and women want to know their partner’s sexual history, indicating that people would rather not know then have to deal with their feelings about the matter, especially if they do not like the answer.

Members of IllicitEncounters.com comment below:

Sofia, 33, London
“When a man has a long list of sexual encounters it’s a red flag. I’d be wary that he’s a womaniser, and would not trust his intentions.”

Henry, 56, Devon
“I think variety in partners teaches you a lot about love making. Taking you on an adventure, and giving you experience – a perfect combination for incredible sex.”

Grace, 40, Surrey
“I’d feel awkward sleeping with a man who has had less partners than me. I’d be worried that they don’t know what they’re doing.”

Sonia, 38, Bristol
“There’s nothing sexy about a man having casual sex. It leads me to believe they value quantity over quality.”

Hayley, 46, Suffolk
“As long as you’re practising safe sex, boundaries are set and expectations are met – then why not?”

Jessica Leoni, sex and relationship expert at IllicitEncounters.com said “A high number of sexual partners is a turn off for many. Nobody wants to be just another notch on the bedpost.

Equally, you don’t want to date someone who’s barely had any experience, it’s a recipe for an awkward fumble.

13 partners is the ideal number – and guarantees that somebody is going to be experienced, adventurous, and open minded inbetween the sheets.”
