Make it work…just not at work

hbmvpknup5vamnzfrvta

Recent revelations that former News of the World editors, Rebecca Brooks and Andy Coulson embarked on a six-year affair has proven that dipping your toe in the office ink is not always the best move.

In a recent survey, leading extra-marital affairs website, IllicitEncounters.com found that 37% of workers admitted they had dated a co-worker at some point in their career, with 17% saying they had done it more than twice.

Ava Cooper, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com explained: “It is easy to see why the number of employees getting together is increasing when you think about a number of factors. In the current economic climate, people are working longer hours than ever, spending more time in the office, giving them the chance to become closer to their colleagues.

“The reasons why many married people end up having affairs in the workplace is not just because they want to have a bit of mindless fun and that they’re bored with their spouses but many people become emotionally attached to those they are spending a lot of time with and seeing five days a week. They get to know each other very well on business trips, lunches or at regular meetings. Often those who get together can be dealing with the same stresses at the same time giving them common ground. It’s easy to see why so many married people fall into the trap of starting an affair with a colleague.

“However, the potential full out when an office affair goes wrong can be nothing short of nuclear. It is as ill advised and as dangerous as having an affair with your neighbour. So many things can go wrong and in many cases people can lose their jobs due to poor judgment in their choice of lover – it’s a like an accident waiting to happen.”

Illicit Encounters is the UK market leader with over 800,000 members, which is nearing 6% of the married population. The site offers married people online dating as the solution to the issue of affairs in the workplace.

Tribunals in recent years have been speckled with a large number of affairs at work that have turned ugly, resulting in bad press for the company and large costs to the business. In fact, many businesses have even enforced a strictly no affairs at work policy, which brought it’s way over from the US – named a morality code. IllicitEncounters.com has a huge number of members who have decided to go online as a result of the negative affects of conducting an affair in the workplace.

Ava Cooper added: “With both tablets and smartphones being encouraged in the workplace and with the recession causing people to work these longer hours, the growing trend of people seeking online encounters during office hours is likely to continue. It’s the secrecy, the naughtiness as well as the fact that they have no need to worry about their spouses catching them that will lead to this type of behaviour.”

People in the UK and Europe also work the longest hours, which has lead to an increase in extra-marital affairs in the workplace according to a 2012 study by Notatwork.co.uk. Results show that 82% of the 54% who have admitted having an office affair work over the UK average of 42.7 hours per week. When asked for the reasons behind the longer work hours, the answer that received the highest (45%) out of the five responses was that ‘the workload has increased in recent years due to redundancies within the workplace.’

Of all the professions listed, those in finance (31%), medicine (24%) and journalism (19%) worked the longest hours. The research, however, also revealed that those in the media industry, which was the fourth industry in the top ten, had had the most office-based affairs. The majority of those who embarked on an affair on a business trip were those in the finance sector, with 47% admitting to pursuing a colleague over a drink after entertaining clients.

Note to editors:

Of the 44.9 million adults usually resident in England & Wales in mid-2010, 48.2 per cent were married = 21,641,800 married people in UK

Is Renewable Marriage The Answer To UK’s Marriage Crisis?

z24ybg8ro3oxuw5farm7

The UK’s leading affair dating website is seeking a parliamentary debate about the future of modern marriage. With the high rate of divorce, an increase of people choosing not to marry and hundreds of thousands of unhappy spouses joining dating sites looking for affairs, IllicitEncounters.com is campaigning for the UK government to introduce renewal dates on marriages.

The controversial proposal has been put forward by the dating site whose purpose is to help unhappily married people find other unfulfilled married people to have affairs with.

A new independent study conducted by Atomik research revealed that over one third of people believe they married the wrong person. In addition, further research conducted by IliicitEncounters.com discovered over 59% of married people feel the marriage system is outdated and nearly a third would support a renewable marriage lasting between 5-8 years.

The site has written an open letter to both members of parliament and religious leaders. The letter is proposing a review of the current marriage laws and hopes to introduce a time limit on the validity of a marriage contract. The site is claiming that its purpose would “spare incompatible couples the expense of lengthy divorce proceedings and the social stigma and emotional trauma consciously uncoupling can cause.”

Spokesperson for the campaign and IllicitEncounters.com Mike Taylor commented; “Marriage should be just like a passport or driver’s license. If individuals are not interested in renewing it, then it expires. If something isn’t working people don’t just live with it. People are more than willing to change their car or washing machine if it has stopped working, why would they stay in a marriage that isn’t working if they weren’t being forced to stay due to financial burdens?”

IllicitEcounters.com maintains it is a pragmatic solution to solving the infidelity epidemic and stopping people who are trapped in unhappy marriages having to look outside them for fulfillment. These days, as Mike Taylor points out, “Those who can’t afford a divorce just suffer indefinitely.”

The site is asking supporters to write to their MP to ask for their support and are providing an open letter on the campaigns website:  www.yestorenewablemarriage.com you can also sign the petition direct at epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/71446

The campaign expects opposition from both the Church of England and the Catholic Church who have been at the forefront of opposing Illicit Encounters proposals. However the site welcomes the healthy debate as it has large amounts of members from both faiths, and is certain they will be writing to their church leaders to voice support for the campaign.

With one in ten couples having them, should we really be shocked by affairs?

zshmdsrnpfq5l1fhk99a

It may seem as if there is currently a tidal wave of affairs hitting the headlines, however the UK’s leading extra-marital dating website is reporting that an affair is happening within one in ten marriages – and that’s just on one dating site.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extra-marital dating website, is celebrating its tenth year this year, and over the last ten years the site has seen consistent growth in the number of people looking to engage in an affair. With over 850,000 members, approximately 6% of the UK’s married population are logging on in search of an extra-marital tryst.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Ava Cooper commented: “I think that everyone can think of someone in their friendship circle who has been unfaithful? Having spoken with the members on the site, I understand the reasons why people look for intimacy outside of their relationship, and the changes in attitudes towards people who have committed adultery has been staggering over the past 10 years. Illicit Encounters started ten years ago to give married people a safe and secure environment to rediscover romance and passion with other like minded individuals, and most importantly – not to judge. It seems that whilst having an affair may still be as taboo as it was ten years ago, more people are understanding of why people may do it.”

Music and Film legends, Sport stars, Royalty and President’s have long been condemned in public for committing adultery, however a change has taken place with celebrities talking openly about the challenges marriage. Gwyneth Paltrow, recently spoke publicly on her understanding of extra marital affairs saying: “I am a great romantic – but I also think you can be a romantic and a realist.
Life is complicated and long and I know people that I respect and admire and look up to who have had extra-marital affairs.
It’s like we’re flawed – we’re human beings and sometimes you make choices that other people are going to judge.”

Research conducted by IllicitEncounters.com in 2006 showed that only one in eight couples would try and work through an affair; in 2013 the same study revealed that number had over halved – with just one in three couples willing to put in the extra effort required work through an infidelity. The same study showed that in 2006, 82% of people thought that having an affair was the worst thing their partner could do in a relationship, while the 2013 study showed only 57% said infidelity was the worst thing they could do.

Could the scariest thing this Halloween be how sexy your other half is dressing?

xnskoaccnymqbj23oo9z

Research from the UK’s largest married dating site IllicitEncounters.com has revealed that women who are having, or are looking for an extra-marital tryst were far more likely to dress in a more risqué manner.

The survey of 10,000 female members of IllicitEncounters.com showed that an overwhelming number of adulteresses felt more comfortable dressing in sexy outfits since joining the site.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Rosie Freeman-Jones commented: “Halloween is an opportunity to dress up in an outrageously sexy manner without feeling exposed. Anything from PVC cat suits to a naughty nurse outfit is acceptable over Halloween, and for ladies this means they can show their overtly sexual side, without being questioned by their spouses. As much as they may long to whip out the suspenders and PVC on a regular Thursday night, their husbands would surely question their motivation, whereas their lovers would relish the show. Halloween allows a little bit of freedom and the chance to be more daring and liberated.”

A surprising 77% of the women surveyed said that they would be dressing in a more risqué manner this Halloween compared to the last few years. 74% of female members also disclosed that since joining the site they had more confidence, 89% said they felt more attractive and 49% would now be more likely to make the first move when meeting a guy they like.

So if your other-halves’ fancy dress costume has gone from bed sheet ghost to a sexy vampire, be warned it could be more than just fun she is looking for at this year’s Halloween party.

Meanwhile over two thirds of the male members on the site said they would most likely dress as an “attractive movie star” rather than something frightening or something less attractive, with the majority of men either opting for the ‘Top Gun’ or ‘superhero’ look this Halloween in order to enhance their looks.

Leading UK Married Dating Site Reveals That Eating High Quality Chocolate Could Improve Your Sex Life!

A study by the UK’s leading dating site for married people, IllicitEncounters.com, has revealed that 78% of women say eating dark chocolate can put them in the mood for love making.

This week is National Chocolate Week – and apart from the obvious joy of indulging in a moment of cocoa bliss, there are many additional advantages to our sex drive, and our health when we eat dark chocolate.

When taking a bite of chocolate ladies will be feeling the benefits of L-arginine, this amino acid can be an effective natural sex-enhancer for both women and men. It works by increasing nitric oxide and promoting blood flow to your sexual organs.

78% of the 4,000 women IllicitEncounters.com surveyed said that dark chocolate increased their sexual appetite. 48% said they would be put off if a lover bought her a ‘cheap’ box of milk chocolates.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters, Ava Cooper adds: “The sexual effects of chocolate are not just limited to the ‘Cadbury’s Flake moment’ whilst relaxing in the bath. The ancient beliefs of The Aztecs regarding the aphrodisiac quality of chocolate are based within science. Chocolate contains the compound theobromine, also found in tea and kola nuts, the substance works on the central nervous system, causing one to feel stimulated and excited – which was backed up by the female members we spoke to in our research.”

One member: Sally, 47, from London said: “Chocolate does get me in the mood, but it has to be high quality dark chocolate. There is something very arousing about the way chocolate melts in your mouth, it is one of the most sensual experiences in my opinion.”

Before you head down to Hotel Chocolat and stock up on candies with a night of passion hot on your agenda, remember if you’re going to indulge in chocolate regularly – dark chocolate is the best. Make your choice as pure and unsweetened as possible. Be good to yourself and stick to the quality brands such as Green and Blacks or Lindt, and your lover will thank you.

One in fourteen women have done a “Bridget Jones” and dated a much younger man!

updiywm5vhumr0yof5jx

In the 15 years since the last Bridget Jones book was published, we have seen the internet dating boom, Girl Power, and the rise of the ‘Cougar’. Now aged 51 and newly single, Bridget is in good company with leading married dating site IllicitEncounters.com reporting a large rise in the number of women who identify with the term ‘Cougar’.

Statistics from the UK’s largest dating website for married people, IllicitEncounters.com, have revealed that 61% of their female members have had a romantic tryst with a younger man.

In the new book – after the surprising and untimely death of Mark Darcy, Bridget is currently dating a 30 year old toyboy called Roxster, putting her in the 8% of women who have enjoyed a relationship with someone over 15 years their junior. The most common age gap between cougars and their lovers, is 5 to 10 years.

For men, older women also seem more appealing. 57% of married men in the UK have admitted to conducting an extra-marital affair with a woman older than themselves, and 24% of married men have chosen to date a woman between 5 and 10 years older. According to the statistics, men typically date women who are between 3 and 5 years older.

If younger, how much younger were the men you chose to conduct an illicit encounter with? Female
Less than 1 year younger 18%
From 1-3 years younger 18%
From 3-5 years younger 19%
From 5-10 years younger 22%
From 10-15 years younger 15%
Over 15 years younger 8%
If older, how much older were the women you chose to conduct an illicit encounter with? Male
More than 1 year older 18%
From 1-3 years older 19%
From 3-5 years older 24%
From 5-10 years older 21%
From 10-15 years older 13%
Over 15 years older 5%

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Rosie Freeman-Jones said: “Since the release of the first book, the internet has launched a sexual revolution, enabling people to rediscover passion and romance – including over 6% of the UK’s married population signing up to IllicitEncounters.com. The fact is, a woman’s sexual appetite increases with age, whereas men’s tends to peak in their mid-20’s. This could go some way to explaining the growing trend of Cougars.

Case-studies have told me they are married to men whose sex drive has slowly tailed off, and they have becoming increasingly frustrated. They now choose to meet a guy who’s younger simply because they feel he will be better equipped to keep up!”

Start of University Leaves Parents Lost

gzvpgisn3vkt8ecjgk6h

As you wave your eldest child off into the world and out of the family home: a sea of emotions wash over you. Pride: that they are all grown up and off to conquer the world whilst recalling their first steps, anxiety: will they be okay without you? Can they cook a nutritionally rich meal? And finally, for many married couples: absolute panic as they look at each other for the first time in years and realise – it’s just them.

The love you feel for your children sucks you into a world where nothing matters quite as much as them, and certainly a Mother’s bond with a child is as beautifully unique as children themselves: nothing comes close. So now what? Who are we as couple? Are just a few of the questions married couples will silently spin around their heads as ‘empty nest’ alarm bells start to ring. After years of lavishing their love, attention, concern, and thoughts on their children, many wonder: can we reaffirm our own love and feel the highs of romance once again?

Intimacy is often the first element of a relationship to suffer upon the arrival of children, leaving the man feeling quietly unimportant and neglected while vying for what little attention his wife can summon, feeling exhausted yet ecstatically consumed by her new love. Fast-forward seventeen or so years, and the silent valley of rejection and resentment that has built over time, is simply for many, an unspoken immovable fact.

At llicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest dating site for married people, this is a relationship dilemma we know well. With over 800,000 active members, and a nearly equal ratio of women to man: both sexes feel the same deflation and sense of loss as their children fly the nest. The dynamic has altered and both know it. Something is missing, something they can’t reignite together. For many ladies, they simply don’t feel the same passion or excitement for their husband’s as the years have passed. While many men find themselves struggling to fill a gap in their wife’s life, resulting in feeling an ineffective second choice and ultimately unwanted, physically and emotionally.

Rosie Freeman-Jones, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com adds: “Love is not the issue; our members love their partners and most would not dream of ending their marriage, but they cannot suppress a need to fill that void once the children leave home. They crave the romance, excitement and the attention they once gave each other, but as the dynamics alter over the years many cannot revive this successfully, and begin look outside their marriage. They are looking for a high, an all-consuming passion to make them feel alive, and whole again as adults.

Whether it takes meeting someone new to rediscover a part of themselves that has laid dormant in their marriage, or for the lucky ones – a rebirth of their love, the effect is positive for all. Feeling attractive, wanted, and important is something that we all need, whatever the circumstance – the need is universal. The self-esteem is instantly boosted, our energy returns and our relationships with others benefit when we feel good as individuals.”

IllicitEncounters.com’s ran a short survey in 2012, where over 50% of members said they could relate to, or had experienced empty nest syndrome, and of those 18% had cited it as one of the main reasons they joined the site. A year on, and with the same question asked: 63% are dealing with or have experienced empty nest panic, with 24% of those asked naming it as the sole reason they choose to become members.

IllcitEncounters.com offers a safe and discreet online dating service for those wishing to explore the possibilities of rediscovering romance, passion, and adventure. The site, now in its 10th year counts approximately 6% of the married population in the UK, with over 35,000 married people join up so far this autumn.

As London Fashion Week starts illicit dating site members aim to stay ahead of the trend

y1douaicil7ecwvijeac

With the fashion bug hitting London as the run up to Fashion Week gets underway, front row fashionistas are set to take centre stage at Somerset House in the latest couture, while the capital’s finest designers showcase their Spring/Summer 2014 collections. But be warned: if your other half takes more notice than usual of the latest trends and emerging designers, they could be looking to impress someone other than you. To coincide with London Fashion Week, leading married dating site IllicitEncounters.com, has conducted an extensive survey to their 800,000 UK members, asking about their fashion habits and favourite labels.

The female members of IllicitEncounters.com spend an average of £175 per month on designer clothing: a staggering £2,100 a year compared with figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), which shows the average spend at just £37.80 a month, and £463.60 a year for women. Men also splash out to impress their potential illicit trysts spending way above the ONS average of just £21.60 a month; men are likely to run up bills of over a £100 in order to stay on trend and up-to-date each month.

Not only is feeling good in your outfit an essential self-esteem booster when meeting someone new, personal grooming also plays a massive part in feeling your most attractive. Cosmetics, skincare, and hair styling are all part of the process to a new you, and the booming beauty industry is hot on the heels of fashion as a multi-billion pound business.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Mike Taylor commented: “When meeting a potential sexual partner, both women and men know that physical appearance affects your confidence. The clothes you wear make a massive difference to how you feel, certain colours lift our mood, while bold styles set out to impress. We have all had our confidence knocked by a bad hair day or the wrong pair of shoes, so it’s unsurprising that members on the site are investing more than ever in their appearance with new designer clothes, while making the effort to stay on trend and in vogue, as it can really boost ones confidence.

My advice when meeting a new lover is to wear colours that make you feel happy, cuts that are comfortable, and chose a smart/casual look to give you confidence without feeling over done – as there is nothing worse that regretting your choice of outfit on a date!”

Men and Women also revealed their top designer labels; Men chose Hugo Boss as their go to brand, followed by Paul Smith and Gant. While women’s top fashion houses where: Mulberry followed by Jaeger and Roberto Cavalli.

iPhone’s New Security Will Make It Number One For Illicit Daters

uqcybkhp9hwi0mvcp9pl

The new iPhone 5S announced today is surely set to raise some eyebrows with the introduction of “Touch ID” an embedded fingerprint sensor in the home button. Many will be questioning if it is more of a gimmick rather than a useful feature. But members of the UK’s leading married dating site, IllicitEncounters.com, seem to think it is a fantastic idea.

Whilst stats from the site show that over 35 per cent of all traffic is from Apple devices running iOS; it isn’t hard to see the benefits of the added security a fingerprint scanner will offer. A whopping 89 per cent of members who use an iPhone said they would look to upgrade if it is shown to have more security features.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Mike Taylor, said: “When conducting an extra-marital tryst, the weak link will always be the device that it being used to communicate with your lover. Desktop computers and browsers now having in-private modes, separate accounts and logins, but anyone can pick up your phone and with a swipe of their finger, have access to some of your most sensitive data and private messages. The inclusion of a fingerprint scanner will ensure that the only person who can assess your phone is you, and will not raise any suspicions with your partner.”

IllicitEncounters.com is also expecting a rise in the number of users logging into the site with iOS devices in the next 12 months, with Apple’s release of the iPhone 5c: a cheaper entry level of the iPhone which will be produced in a range of vivid colours – presenting an obvious rival to the low-cost handsets sold by Apple’s major competitors.
