If you want to seduce a woman, bring a mare with you because new research by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s top married dating site, shows that horse-riding is the top fantasy first date. 300 women on the site were asked what their ideal first date was and the most popular choice was ‘horse riding’ with 37% of the votes, beating ‘cinema’, ‘sailing’, ‘candle lit dinner’ and ‘drinks in a pub’.

“When women think about their ideal first date they associate passion and exciting things with romantic success,” psychologist Lucy Redford said, “Although something very over-the-top like a flight to Paris is intimidating and too extravagant, something active like horse-riding takes your mind off the pressure of a first date, it’s fun and shows you’ve put thought into the date because it requires more effort than a few pints in the local. Horses are also associated with wealth, which in itself is attractive, and require a lot of attention and care – and most women look for an attentive, caring man.”

Research released today by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest married dating site, shows just how naughty Brits are and how many of us get in it on in unusual and not always the most hygienic places – 500 surveyed were asked where they had sexual relations. The mile high club is less popular than people think – only 0.4% (2 in 500 people) said they had sex in an airplane; 6% had sex on a train or tube; 34% had sex in a toilet; 5.4% had sexual relations on a bus; 7% got hot and heavy in a tent; 76% had intimacies in a car, while 68% got down and dirty on kitchen surfaces.

Microbiologist Rhiannon Hayes said “The London underground is one of the dirtiest places in Britain. Toilets obviously contain a lot of bacteria but interestingly, we found higher levels of bodily fluid in the disabled toilets than in the non-disabled. Train seats are known to contain traces of semen, faeces, urine, alcohol, blood, grease, human skin, hair and sugar. In terms of household bacteria, the kitchen is a hive for germs. The average kitchen surface has very dangerous bacteria such as e-coli, listeria, salmonella and campylobacter – which can cause paralysis. Tents are also crawling with outdoor bacteria such as Xanthomonas campestris, while cars contain over 600 bugs and ten times more bacteria than a public toilet seat.”

“Presumably more people get it on in disabled than non-disabled toilets because there’s more room,” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “I don’t see the appeal of intercourse on the tube, but the evidence shows it happens. The most common first thing a woman does after getting divorced is get their hair done, before calling their mother, meeting up with their girlfriends or going for a drink, according to new research by married dating website IllicitEncounters.com. Women tend to follow in the footsteps of Cheryl, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Williams and Jennifer Aniston, all whom had hair makeovers after a breakup.

The research, which surveyed 200 divorced or legally separated female members of IllicitEncounters.com, also found that women having an affair spend up to three times more on visits to beauty salons and hairdressers than their faithful counterparts – one would guess they want to look their absolute best for their illicit lover.

Women also open up more to their hairdressers than some of their best friends or close family members. 62% of women (124) said they would sooner tell their relationship problems to their hairdressers than their mother, father or siblings. 68% of women said they would tell their hairdressers if they were having an affair before telling their best friends.

The top three reasons were:

  • 2)My hairdresser doesn’t know my partner so I can be more honest.
  • 3)They will be more honest with me because they know me but they’re not too close to give me a biased opinion.

More women tend to open up more when they’re getting highlights, treatments or cuts, than when they’re having a blow-dry as they’re not shouting over hairdryers.

Psychologist Lucy Redford said “There is a known psychological effect occurring between a hairdresser and their clients, they offer a non-bias, non-judgment environment which makes women feel comfortable in sharing the secrets. Clients place a lot of trust in someone cutting their hair and there is an extension of this trust when they confide in them, oftentimes telling them things they wouldn’t tell their closest friends or family members.”

However this theory doesn’t convert to men, who are surprisingly more likely to share their innermost secrets with a selected best friend rather than a stranger such as a hairdresser or a barber. Possibly the ‘bros before hoes’ code is still going strong among male adulterers enabling them to feel secure and supported whatever their actions may be.

New research released by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s top married dating site, shows that actors have better sex lives than any other profession, beating models, lawyers, politicians and bankers. Over 2,000 people were surveyed in twenty different job categories and those in ‘acting and performing’ have more sex and more sexual partners than any other profession.

The 100 people in the ‘acting and performing’ industry have on average five sexual partners a year and have sex three times a week, which was 550% more than those in the ‘banking’ industry who have on average one sexual partner a year and have sex once every two weeks; and 400% more than those in the ‘modelling’ industry, who have on average two sexual partners a year and have sex twice a week.

Proof that Running Prolongs Your SEX Life!

New research by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest married dating site, shows that if you jog as little as once a week, you have a 79% higher chance of being regularly sexually active after the age of 50, than someone who doesn’t exercise.

The research surveyed 1,000 members over the age of 50 who have sex more than once a fortnight, and 1,000 members over the age of 50 who have sex less than once a fortnight or no longer have sex.

Of the 1,000 members who have regular sex, 61% of them (613) jog once or twice a week, while 24% of them (236) jog three times or more a week. 15% of the remaining either regularly exercise in other ways such as yoga, swimming or Pilates (13%), or don’t regularly exercise (2%). Two in ten joggers have sex once a day and sixty five per cent strike up a conversation or ‘check out’ someone of the opposite sex when jogging.

Of the 1,000 members who have sex less than once a fortnight or no longer have sex, only 56 (5.6%) jog once or twice a week, while 12 (1.2%) jog three times or more a week. Less than 4% (37 people) do other regular exercise, such as yoga, swimming or Pilates. A staggering 895 of those who don’t jog or do exercise also don’t have regular sex!

“The health benefits of jogging are fantastic!” said Chris O’Connor, personal trainer “It’s great for diseases like osteoporosis and arthritis because it helps the joints and bones, as well as improving cardiovascular fitness, and of course weight loss. People don’t realize there are a lot of mental benefits to running. It’s the number one natural solution to depression and anxiety because your body releases endorphins when you jog – that’s why so many people get addicted. It makes sense that people who jog regularly have a better sex life than those who don’t. When you jog you have more energy, you’re more flexible, you have better breathing and stamina, your testosterone levels increase – of course you’re going to have sex more often!”

Last week, over one billion Valentine’s cards were sent throughout the world, but new research by IllicitEncounters.com reveals that there is a second celebration of love coming up – Pancake Tuesday is the closest national celebration men will spend with their mistresses, because spending Valentine’s Day away from their wives is “too obvious”.

The poll, which surveyed 2,000 IE male members, found that 68% (1361) of men having an affair will spend the week after Valentine’s with their mistresses, and Pancake Tuesday was the top date men said they will spend with their mistresses scooping 72% of the votes.

1,000 of our female members were asked ‘Would you like your husband to surprise you with pancakes in bed on Pancake Tuesday?’ and 98% of them said ‘yes’. Despite this, when the men were asked ‘Will you make a pancake for your wife?’ only 43% said they would.

The 57% who won’t, were asked ‘Why won’t you make a pancake for your wife?’ the top three answers were:

1)She won’t like the way I make it

2)She’s busy getting ready for work in the morning

3)She’ll complain about the mess in the kitchen

When asked if they will buy or bake a pancake for their mistress, the majority of the surveyed said they would (61%) and the most popular flavourings were traditional butter, lemon and sugar; followed by Nutella.

The survey also found that married men spent more on their wives than mistresses –on average, the 2,000 surveyed men spent an average of £147.60 on Valentine’s gifts for their lovers compared to just £120 on their spouse. Mistress gifts were also more likely to be more sensual, like lingerie, champagne or chocolates, compared to practical gifts for their wives, like a phone upgrade or a new purse.

New research released today by Britain’s largest married dating site, IllicitEncounters.com, shows that teachers are the best ingredient for a happy marriage! When 1,000 IE members across the UK and Ireland were asked ‘What do you do for a career?’ the lowest percentage of them (0.5%) said they were teachers. As well as that, when asked ‘what job would you like the mother/father of your children to have?’ the highest answer was ‘teacher’ (27%), beating ‘CEO’, ‘salesman’, ‘actor’ and ‘engineer’.

The top six professions the 1,000 respondants had were:

“There are many reasons why teachers are more likely to commit to a marriage than other professions,” said psychologist Lucy Redford, “Unless they’ve made a horrific career choice, teachers are usually very good with children. In the classroom they can see the effect of arguing or separated parents, and because most teachers are empathetic, they won’t want to create the same turbulence in their own home. They’ll more than likely have the ability to discipline children because it’s their job (both in school and at home). It’s for this reason that teachers have a high respect and commitment to a marriage and won’t risk fracturing it.”

Accountants Make Best Husbands…to Cheat on!!

New research released today by Britain’s largest married dating site, IllicitEncounters.com, shows that women cheat more on accountants than any other profession! When 1,500 female members across the UK were asked ‘What does your husband do for a career?’ the highest percentage of them (13%) said they were accountants.

The top six reasons these women started affairs were:

  • 1)The excitement has gone in our marriage (563 votes)
  • 2)We’ve lost our connection (233 votes)
  • 3)The sex drive has gone in our marriage (214 votes)
  • 4)We spend too much time apart (211 votes)
  • 5)We spend too much time together (196 votes)
  • 6)I don’t feel special to him any more (83 votes)

So why exactly do so many women want to marry an accountant but can’t stay faithful?

“Stability, both financial and personal is the number one thing people seek in marriages,” said psychologist Lucy Redford, “The typical accountant is seen as stable, reliable and responsible. Consciously or sub-consciously, all women seek these characteristics in a mate. The number one reason people stray from marriages is because excitement is replaced by routine, and what was once seen as a spark becomes a chore. Every relationship requires work, but it still needs to be worth working for.”

On the good side, if you’re an accountant and your wife is straying, she won’t let the affair break her marriage, because only 3 in the 195 cheating women said they would consider leaving their accountant husbands!
