Meat Eaters are Selfish Lovers, whilst Vegans have the most Sex!

* Meat-eaters have the least amount of sex and are selfish in bed

IllicitEncounters.com the UK’s leading dating site for married people polled 1200 members (married in the last five years) split equally by meat-eaters, pescatarians, vegans and vegetarians on their bedroom antics to ascertain whether there is a correlation between the things that we eat and the sex that we have. 

The study found that meat-eaters have the least amount of sex compared to their fish and veggie-eating counterparts, with the majority of meat-eaters (51%) getting down and dirty only 1-2 times a week. Famous meat-eaters include Rihanna, Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie, Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey.

The majority of pescatarians (39%) and vegetarians (43%) tied on how often they enjoy the act of love, with the bulk of each attesting to having sex 3-4 times a week.

Vegans are the raunchiest lot with a whopping 36% claiming they have sex 5-6 times a week. Famous vegans include Ariana Grande, Brad Pitt, Russel Brand and Miley Cyrus. 

A gleeful 81% of vegans reported that they are very satisfied in their sex lives, compared to a miserable 57% of meat-eaters. 

Vegetarians were pretty happy too with 77% saying they are very satisfied with their sex lives. 

Pescatarians were somewhere in between meat-eaters and vegans with an honorable 68% very satisfied.

Vegans (63%), vegetarians (55%) and pescatarians (51%) claim they are givers in bed rather than takers, only 41% of meat-eaters describe themselves as givers – suggesting that meat-eaters are selfish in bed.

The respondents were also asked how adventurous they thought they were in sack on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being vanilla and not wanting to try out new things in bed and 10 being extremely adventurous, open to new experiences and kink! 

Vegetarians are by far the most adventurous scoring on average 8 out of 10 on the kink-o-metre. Joint second are pescatarians and vegans scoring a 6 on average. Lastly are the meat-eaters, who only saw themselves as medium kinky with 5 on average for bedroom adventurousness.

Rather than focus on the obvious, IllicitEncounters.com put the vote to 1000 of its users with a slightly different kind of poll – what sexy bedroom adventures would they most like to explore in 2022.

500 men and 500 women were questioned on whether they would like to try out any of the following sex-capades in 2022 and here are the results.

The top sexual adventure for men and women to explore in the bedroom is hotel sex, in first place for men with 95%, and second place for women with 81%. A combined total of 88% makes it the top adventure to tick off people’s bucket lists in the upcoming year. 

Close second adventure for men is sex in public with 89% of the vote.

The top sexual adventure for women to explore in the bedroom is foreplay (97%).

Men (28%) and women (17%) would least like to try out phone sex, a stark contrast to a poll conducted pre-pandemic when phone sex was the top sexual fantasy for both men and women (80.5% favoured this bucket list fantasy in January 2020). Perhaps we’ve all had enough of virtual sex over the course of covid and lockdowns. 

Spicy New Year Bucket List

Hotel Sex

Men – 95% said yes

Women – 81% said yes

Booking a hotel to have some romantic adventures with your significant other is the best way to enjoy some one-on-one adult fun. Spending the night getting hot and sweaty in freshly laundered sheets and then ordering room service? It doesn’t get much better than that.

Sex in Public

Men – 89% said yes

Women – 37% said yes

Life truly does begin in your forties, your sex life at least!
 
IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, surveyed 2000 members and found that 41% of people agree that the best time to have sex is in your forties!
 
Top reasons given for this were, ‘feeling comfortable in your own skin’, ‘knowing exactly what turns me on’ and being ‘open to adventure’ in the bedroom.

Although the public voted their 40’s to be the best time to have sex, they were not having a lot of it, with only 13% of people stating this decade as the one they had the most sexual liaisons. Clearly quality trumps quantity when it comes to sexual satisfaction.
 
The next best age is 30 with 28% of the vote. Followed by the frisky 50’s with an honourable 17%.
 
Sex in your 20s scored shockingly low, with only 12% of respondents agreeing that their 20s were the best age to get busy with it, only 60’s (1.5%)  and over 70’s (0.5%) fared worse.
 
Twenty year olds hit the peak of their sexual liaisons when it comes to the amount of sex they’re having with a whopping (43%) agreeing that their 20s were when they had the most notches on the bedpost.
 
500 members in the sample were also asked what makes a good sexual partner and the top five reasons given were ‘confidence’, ‘communication’, ‘foreplay’, ‘experience’ and ‘open mindedness’. 
 
Jessica Leoni, sex and relationship expert at IllicitEncounters.com, said “People are having mind blowing sex in their 40s! Why? They had their peak of promiscuity in their 20s, often succumbing to substandard sex while learning the ropes, quite literally, experimenting in some bondage play perhaps – before concluding that wow, ropes and whips do not excite me. 

In their 30s they begin to transition from having lots of sexual partners, to having less, but better quality sex – beginning to understand what sort of pleasures delight them.

It turns out brunettes have more fun than blondes

Contrary to popular belief, it’s really brunettes that have more fun, not blondes!

Out of a sample of 2000 female users on IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site for married people, more brunettes than any other hair colour are looking to cheat!

33% of women in the sample are naturally brunette.

Compared to 28% who are blonde, followed by 25% with black hair, and 9% with grey hair.

Red heads are the most faithful with only 5% looking to have an affair.

The study also found that, from a sample of 200 women, 19% admit to dying their natural hair colour blonde, compared to just 15% of women dying their hair any other colour, suggesting that women believe blonde is desirable. Some iconic blondes include Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly.

They’re not wrong, out of 800 men surveyed, more than half of men (51%) find blondes to be the most attractive.

Red heads came in second most attractive, with 18%, followed by women with naturally black hair with 15%.

Brunettes didn’t even make the top three, landing in fourth place with 14%, followed by women with grey hair (2%).

Despite being less attracted to brunettes, a whopping 41% believe brunettes are better in bed than any other hair colour. 

Reasons given for this were that brunettes are more ‘adventurous’, and ‘open minded’ in between the sheets. Famous brunettes include Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Hurley, and Kate Middleton – The Duchess of Cambridge . 

Blondes come in at 26%, with men stating that blondes are ‘enthusiastic’, and ‘eager to please’. Famous blondes include Scarlett Johansson, Carey Mulligan, and Kate Winslet.

Women with black hair come in at 18%, and are deemed to be ‘dominant’, and ‘kinky’. Famous celebrities with black hair include Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Connelly and Rihanna.

Followed by red heads (12%), with whom getting intimate is described as ‘passionate’ and ‘sensual’. Famous redheads include Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, and Nicole Kidman. 

Bad news for silver vixens, as grey haired women rank last at only 3%, with men describing them as ‘experienced’, but ‘demanding’. Famous grey haired women include Meryl Streep, Nichelle Nichols, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

62% of men said they have a preference of hair colour, however as much as 37% said they tend to date someone that isn’t their type when it comes to this preference.

Freddie, a male member using the site said “I prefer blondes, but I always seem to end up with a brunette. I’m physically more attracted to a blonde, but the connection always feels a bit superficial. Brunettes have more substance, better chat, and keep me more on my toes. Looks can only get you so far.”

Maybe this fact contributes to them making less exciting lovers, if blondes expect men to fancy them, perhaps they don’t bother so much with flirting, which is needed to let sparks fly, and in order to create a build up to mindblowing sex!

The ideal number of sexual partners has been revealed, and 13 is the magic number

For those of you who thought 13 was an unlucky number, turns out it isn’t! 

Men and women agree that 13 is the ideal number of sexual partners one should have.

IllicitEncounters.com surveyed 1000 men and 1000 women to find out how many sexual partners they’d want their new lover to have. With over half indicating 13 as the optimal number (52%).

67% of women lie about their magic number compared to a mere 13% of men. It could be that women are more cautious in sharing their intimate exploits to appear more conservative to the opposite sex.

73% of the respondents agreed that 18 or more is the number of sexual partners somebody has had, when they become a turn off. A warning sign that perhaps someone is prone to bed-hopping and difficult to please.

A whopping 77% of men said that they would sleep with someone on the first date if there was chemistry, compared to only 39% of women, it seems women are much more selective, and likely to hold out if they are interested in a potential match.

Interesting to note, more men (59%) then women (46%) find that a high number of sexual partners makes someone less desirable, suggesting there is still a social stigma regarding perceptions of promiscuity between genders.

Only a total of 31% of men and women want to know their partner’s sexual history, indicating that people would rather not know then have to deal with their feelings about the matter, especially if they do not like the answer.

Turns out you really can tell whether someone’s going to be good in bed, and it all comes down to where they are from!

Londoners are officially the best between the sheets for both men (22%) and women (20%). The cultural hub of the United Kingdom, there’s simply something for everyone here. London, notorious for being one of the most romantic cities in the world – evokes sex appeal. It isn’t utterly surprising the public voted Londoners as the best lovers, picture this, Hugh Grant, Jude Law, Emilia Clarke and Kate Moss – all Londoners!

Men voted for Mancs in second place with Manchester gaining 18% of the vote, sexy female celebs from Manchester include Gemma Atkinson, Holliday Grainger, and Agyness Deyn – phwoar!

Newcastle comes in as third best lay (14%) for men, home to the likes of Cheryl Cole, Vicky Pattison and Charlotte Crosby.

Men least enjoy sleeping with Brummies, with Birmingham grasping at a mere 2% of the vote

Women voted for Manchester in second (17%) – home to Jamie Lomas, Marcus Rashford and Oasis.

In second place for women come the Scots with Glasgow gaining 15% of the vote, think James Mccavoy, swoon! 

Seems that women really do like variety in the bedroom, or at least a total change in accent – funny that, considering talking dirty does not rank high for women when it comes to sex appeal (8%).

Women least enjoy sleeping with Scousers with only 3% of the vote going to Liverpool.

Both men (54%) and women (51%)  agree that ‘confidence’ is the number one quality that determines if someone is going to be good in the sack.

Is there distance between you and your sexual partner? How will you keep your sex life alive?

IllicitEncounters.com surveyed 1200 of its members and found out their top favorite ways to make long distance love, as well as some useful advice.

The top two favorite ways to keep the spark alive as voted by men and women is dirty talk and sexy pictures, interestingly enough the majority of women prefer dirty talk, whereas men opted for visual stiumulation with more voting for sexy pictures. 

Twice as many women as men prefer honest communication about your feelings.

Just over a quarter more men preferred video calls compared to women.

More men than women (17%) preferred their lover to not be needy when apart.

Vegetarians make the best lovers

*  Meat eaters are selfish in bed and unhappy in their sex lives compared to vegetarians
*  Vegetarians and vegans make love more often than meat eaters
*  Vegans are the happiest in their sex lives
*  The results come from the diet and sexual habits of 1000 members on IllcitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site.

500 vegetarians (of which 38% identified as vegan), and 500 meat eaters were polled by IllicitEncounters.com the UK’s largest extramarital dating site on their diet and sexual activities.

Vegetarians are more likely to enjoy making out, foreplay, and dirty talk than their meat-eating counterparts. The study also indicates that meat eaters are notoriously selfish in bed and get down and dirty a lot less than vegetarians. Could conscious eating be a recipe for more thoughtful sex?

The majority of vegetarians (57%) make love 3-4 times a week compared to most meat eaters who only enjoy bedroom antics 1-2 times a week (49%).

84% of vegetarians report they are satisfied in their sex lives, compared to only 59% of meat eaters. Astonishingly 95% of the vegan participants said they were satisfied.

Vegetarians enjoy making out (92%), foreplay (88%) and dirty talk (48%) much more than their meat eating counterparts (79%, 68% and 35% respectively)

58% of vegetarians claim they are givers in bed rather than takers, only 35% of meat eaters describe themselves as givers – suggesting that meaters are a tad selfish in bed.

Least enjoyable for both vegetarians (26%) and meat eaters (15%) is bondage.

Exactly the same amount of vegetarians and meat eaters enjoy trying out new sexual positions (77%)

Heather, a 39 year old vegan on the site said “I ate meat all my life, till about 18 months ago. When I still ate meat and animal by products, I found myself constantly tired, bloated and my sex life was non existent, tragic I know. I just thought it was an age-related thing, losing interest you know? Now I’m on a plant based diet, I have more energy and I’m more open to trying out new things. Who knew changing your diet could increase the libido?”

Vegetarians eat foods that are known for their aphrodisiac properties, of course they’re more aroused. Maca – a peruvian root vegetable, fenugreek leaves, ginseng, aniseed – there is a host of different veggies that are natural aphrodisiacs that promote sexual excitement.

I for one have never heard a rack of BBQ ribs or a lamb shank to turn you on. Getting hot under the collar is not the same thing as getting meat sweats.

Rather than focus on the obvious, IllicitEncounters.com put the vote to 800 of it’s users with a slightly different kind of poll – what sexy bedroom adventures would they most like to explore in 2020.

400 men and 400 women were questioned on whether they would like to try out any of the following sex adventures in 2020 and here are the results.

Top sexual adventure for men to explore in the bedroom is sex in public 90%, a stark contrast to women, of which only 34% were interested in ticking this adventure off their bucket list. Close second adventure for men is hotel sex with 88% of the vote.

Top sexual adventure for women to explore in the bedroom is foreplay 92%, followed by phone sex 82%

Men would least like to try out role play 32% and women would least like to engage in a threesome 24%

Phone sex is the top sexual fantasy for men and women combined with 80.5% of men and women wanting to try phone sex in 2020.

Sexy New Year Bucket List

Sex in Public
Men – 90% said yes
Women – 34% said yes

Usually explored in the honeymoon period of a relationship when you simply cannot keep your hands off each other. It’s naughty and dangerous, not to mention subject to nudity and decency laws – not one for the fainthearted! My recommendation is to find somewhere isolated and discrete for those wanting to try sex in public for the very first time, before you join the expert level mile high club.

Accountants Voted Best Between the Sheets

78% of women rank accountants as the number one profession to get hot and steamy under the covers in a recent survey by IllicitEncounters.com

Top reasons given by women for wanting to bed an accountant is that they are good in bed, great at dirty talk and don’t finish first. The study indicates that accountants make selfless lovers that focus all their attention on their partner.

Founders/entrepreneurs came in close second place as most beddable with 71% of the vote, and actors third with 68%

Shockingly male models came in second to last with only 7% of women agreeing this profession is good in bed.

Butchers scored the least votes with only 2%

Annabelle a member on IllicitEncounters.com said “Accountants are hot, come on! Someone who is that good with numbers clearly has amazing attention to detail. Good things come to those who wait, and great sex is about patience and communication. For women it isn’t just about the physical either, orgasmic pleasure needs a connection of minds.”
