Revealed: People with this star sign are most likely to cheat on their partner

* Aries tops the charts of the most likely to stray in a relationship, followed by Capricorn and Gemini.

* Data released by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site.

The star signs most likely to cheat on their partner have been revealed – and it’s bad news if you’re hitched to an Aries.

Data analysed by extramarital dating site IllicitEncounters.com found that ‘horny’ Ariens are most likely to have an affair, with 21% of love rats born between the 21st March and the 19th April.

Capricorns follow closely behind, with 14% belonging to the Earth sign.

If your partner is a Taurus, though, you can breathe a sigh of relief – just 3% of cheats fall under this star sign.

Virgo (4%) and Cancer (5%) were also found to be the most faithful zodiac signs, making them the ideal partner if you’re looking for peace of mind. 

The married dating site looked at data from 15,000 cheaters who joined the website within the past twelve months, and findings suggest it may be possible to predict the likelihood of infidelity within a relationship.

Jason from Windsor who joined IllicitEncounters.com in January said “As an Aries, I’ve always been drawn to adventure and excitement.

I’m a devoted partner on the surface, but let’s just say I’ve got a bit of a wandering eye. It’s not that I don’t love my wife, but sometimes the thrill of the chase is too hard to resist. 

Call it a weakness or blame it on the stars, but life’s too short to stick to one path.”

Another member of the married dating site, Lucy from Bath, commented “I started having an affair last summer after reaching breaking point with my husband. He’s a Pisces who seems to swim away from any sort of conflict, which means we’ve never managed to get around our marriage issues.

I’m a Capricorn, and I’ve always prided myself on my loyalty and reliability. But guess what? Even us goats have our moments when we decide enough is enough. Now, I’m seeing a fellow Capricorn and I can finally say that I’ve found someone who really understands me.”

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site, analysed data of 120,000 of its married members and found that we may well be fated to cheat.        

If the constellation of stars on your birthday can predict an individual’s characteristics, who is to say they can’t predict one’s future lovelife? 
 

Beware of the Capricorn as they are crowned the number one cheats of the year with a colossal 17% of loverats belonging to this astrological sign. 
 

Disloyal Libra’s come in second place with 15% of Libra’s cheating on their partners. 
 

Sagittarius takes third most likely to stray with 13% of adulterers belonging to this sign. 
 

Looking for commitment? Cancer is crowned the most devoted star sign of the year with a mere 2% of Cancers cheating.
 

Other star signs less likely to cheat are Aquarius (4%), Virgo (4%) and Scorpio (3%).
 

2000 members were also asked what star sign their spouse was, and a mammoth 14% reported that they are married to a Gemini. 
 

George, 51 years old, a Capricorn on IlliictEncounters.com said ‘I’ve always found it difficult not to cheat. I have had discreet relationships with several different women over the years and each time I would tell myself it would be the last time. I love my wife, I believe in every other way I am a good husband. Sometimes I just need a break from it all and I am still very, very attracted to other women.’
 

Julia, 40 years old, a Libra using the website said ‘I am a typical Libra. Playful, adventurous. All I really want is a partner in crime. My husband is a Gemini. When we met he put on this act that he found me mesmerising. Nowadays he doesn’t pay me any attention. I’m having an affair with an Aries and I don’t regret it. I deserve to feel wanted.’

Capricorns are workaholics, they are the most competitive and ambitious of all the signs. A cheating Capricorn may be suffering from burnout and using an affair as an excuse to relieve stress, either that or they feel they deserve an affair after the relentless day to day grind.

Libra’s are social butterflies. They love nothing more than being in the company of others and feel anxious when they are alone. People pleasers, Libra’s might engage in an affair just to feel loved and desired.

Why is everybody cheating on a Gemini? Perhaps it’s their two faces.

Are we fated to cheat? IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s top extramarital dating site, analysed data of 120,000 of it’s married members and found that certain astrological signs are more likely to stray than others. 

Disloyal Libra’s are the most likely to have an affair, winning top cheating star sign of 2020, with a whopping 16% of adulterers belonging to this astrological sign.

Two-faced Geminis come in at a close second with 14%, followed by cheating Capricorns third with 12%.

Looking for commitment? Look no further than the steadfast Scorpio, the most faithful star sign of the zodiac with only 3% of Scorpios cheating – they’re a safe bet for monogamy. 

Other star signs less likely to cheat are Aquarius 4% and Sagittarius 4%

Although the archer belongs to one of the most faithful, the same can’t be said for their partners. A further 1200 members were asked what star sign their spouse belonged to, and found that a mammoth 13% of adulterers are married to a Sagittarius. 

Michaela a Libra using the site said “I first cheated on my husband, with a work colleague, at a Christmas party five years ago. It was such a rush, having this dirty little secret.

Nowadays I only cheat with married men – that way you both stand to lose a lot, and are less likely to get caught. I’m never going to leave my husband, but I just can’t help that I am much more adventurous and need more sex then he does.”

Cecilia a Gemini using the site said “I have always felt that monogamous relationships are a thing of the past. Me and my husband both date other people, but we are each other’s primary relationship. We absolutely adore each other, and would never leave our marriage – but we both feel that variety is important in life.”

Libra is the most likely to cheat, not surprising at all. Libras are social butterflies, who dislike being alone. If a Libra is married to someone who isnt always available – it’s only natural they’d be seeking validation and company elsewhere. Gregarious Geminis are similar in that respect, another air sign, Geminis are renowned for having two often contradicting personalities – and although they love companionship, they’re fearful of commitment.

Could cheating be written in the stars? IllicitEncounters.com analysed data of 180,000 of its married members and found that the zodiac may have a lot to say about infidelity.

Capricorns topped the charts with 16% of cheaters belonging to this star sign, closely followed by Libra’s with 13%.

Want your partner to remain faithful? Dating a Sagittarius secures monogamy with only 4% of archers currently cheating on their partner.

Other star signs less likely to cheat are Aquarius (5%) and Pieces (5%)

2000 members were also asked what star sign their spouse was, and a phenomenal 14% reported that their married to a Leo.

Natasha a Capricorn currently using the site said “I’d had it up to here with my husband last year. You see, my birthday is on the 24th of December, and my husband plans me a rubbish – buy one get one free Christmas slash birthday gift – every, single, year! What a way to make you feel appreciated.

I decided enough was enough, and as an extra special birthday treat to myself – I decided to have an affair. Heck, best decision I’ve ever made, and guess what, the other guy I’m seeing has already promised me a birthday out of this world, and that’s alongside my Christmas present. For once I’m looking forward to the winter break.”

Jennifer a Libra on the site who is currently having an affair said “My husband is a Leo. In many ways he’s the perfect partner, father and provider. He’s always working hard, he’s great with the kids and he does put in effort into our relationship. Having said that, he drives me completely and utterly insane half the time, he’s a perfectionist, can’t let things go and often obsesses. Sometimes it’s nice to just escape from him, away from everything serious and just let my hair down and have fun.”

When a Capricorn is in a marriage that is not making them entirely happy their solution is to go seek that happiness elsewhere. Being practical, Capricorns are more than capable of compartmentalising their affair and are great at keeping secrets and are therefore unlikely to get caught cheating.

Sagittarius’ belong to the fire element, and they are fiercely independent, which may come as a shock that so few Sagittarius’ are unfaithful. Although known to be adventures, risky and sociable, once a Sagittarius makes a commitment, they stick to it. A Sagittarius is always on the search for sex, love and relationships, however they are more inclined to escape an unhappy marriage, than look for some extra-marital fun; multi-dating is not their forte.

Why are Leo’s everywhere being cheated on – isn’t it obvious? Leo’s are passionate star signs, very competitive and ambitious, and naturally extremely stubborn. When your partner always wants to get their own way, it’s only natural that you need to get yours too, elsewhere.”
