Revealed! Women Are More Likely to Stray If Their Mothers Cheated Too

Image result for like mother like daughter

  • There’s a good chance you’re a cheater if your parents have also cheated
  • 71% of cheating women and 45% of cheating men have mothers and fathers who’ve also cheated
  • 66% of women said that they felt they had ‘permission’ to cheat because of their mothers transgressions, while only 22% of men felt the same way
  • 78% of cheating women felt that their own acts of infidelity would be met with understanding from their mothers, but 86% of men would stop cheating if their father told them to
  • The results come from a survey of 500 men and 500 women from IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people

Cheating could run in the family, especially if you’re a woman. A new survey of 500 men and 500 women from IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, found that as many as 71% of women who were cheating had mothers who cheated too.

With men, that number was much lower: 45%.

Of the cheating women, 66% said that they felt that they had ‘permission’ to cheat because of their mothers transgressions, while only 22% of men felt the same way.

The main reason for this is guilt, or lack thereof, as 78% of cheating women felt that their own acts of infidelity would be met with understanding from their mothers, given that the mothers too have cheated.

On the other hand, an overwhelming 86% of men said that they would give up their affair if their father found out and asked them to stop.

Interestingly, where both men and women’s views aligned was regards to their general views of infidelity, with 83% of men and 89% of women admitting that cheating isn’t necessarily acceptable or morally correct.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Christian Grant, said:

“Monkey see, monkey do, but in this instance, that’s better attributed to women. Contrary to popular belief, most men aren’t necessarily proud of the ‘lad’ status given to them by their mates if they sleep around.

“Though it might appear that way, deep down they fear the potential backlash from their fathers, irrespective of whether they have a history of cheating themselves.

“For reasons that are unbeknownst to even ourselves, women are less concerned with any potential fallout with a family member, should they be caught cheating.

“It’s a seemingly inexplicable difference in mentalities: women see their mothers transgressions as a permission to cheat, whereas men still feel a certain guilt hanging over their heads no matter their family history.”

Tall, dark and unfaithful? It’s official, taller men are more likely to play away!

Image result for tall men

  • Taller men are more likely to have an affair, new research has revealed
  • Of a survey of over 1,800 married men, 20% were between 6ft 1″ and 6ft 2″ tall
  • 60% of all men were over 6ft tall, with the least common height range being between 5ft 5” and 5ft 6” (3%)
  • 57% of a survey of over 950 women said that they would not date someone who was shorter than them
  • The findings come from IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people
Does your height impact your likelihood to have an affair? New research seems to suggest that that’s the case.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, surveyed over 1,800 of its male members and found that the most common height range was between 6ft 1” and 6ft 2”, the height of 20% of respondents, with the average height being just under 6ft 1”.

In fact, 60% of all men surveyed were over 6ft, with the least common height range being between 5ft 5” and 5ft 6” (3%).

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains why this is more than just a coincidence:

“It might seem old fashioned, but generally speaking, dating someone shorter than you is a sacrifice too great for many people. It’s even worse for women who, with their killer heels on show, absolutely tower over their partners – it makes for an awkward picture to say the least.

“What that all means for tall blokes is that they’re more likely to grab a woman’s attention by virtue of their height alone. With that in mind, they’re more likely to be confident when it comes to picking up women, and, in this case, more likely to find themselves in a position to cheat than a shorter man – it’s all about how many can resist the temptation to have an affair.”

Many adulterous celebrities support this evidence, with Ben Affleck and Vernon Kay, both of whom cheated on their respective partners, standing at an impress 6ft 4″. On the other hand, celebrities like Kevin Bacon and Dustin Hoffman, who’ve been married for 28 years and 36 years respectively, stand at 5ft 10″ and 5ft 6″ tall.

In a separate survey of over 950 married women, over half (57%) said that they wouldn’t date someone if they were shorter than them.

Lucy, 44, was one of those women, as she explains:

“The main reason I’m having an affair is because I want what my husband can’t give me at home. I know it might seem shallow, but there needs to be a physical attraction, and height is definitely a massive part of that.

If I’m going to settle and not get what I want out of an affair, then what’s the point of having one at all?”

The Grass Really IS Greener, As Married Women Fantasise Most About Seducing Their Gardeners

Image result for gardener sexy

  • Married women fantasise about seducing their gardeners more so than anyone else, a new survey has revealed
  • Other popular responses included firemen, fitness instructors and mechanics
  • 77% of married women admitted to flirting and making passes to those in the aforementioned professions
  • The least sexy profession, and the one women would least like to seduce, was postmen (20%)
  • The results come from a survey of over 650 married women on IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people

Gardeners are officially the most popular fantasy of married women across the UK. According to IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, 34% of a survey of over 650 women confessed that they’d most like to seduce gardeners.

Other popular responses included firemen (16%), fitness instructor (12%), mechanic (10%) and carpenter (7%).

The site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains:

“Women know what they want, and there’s evidently a common theme here. Your stereotypical image of a gardener is a hot, topless and well-built man, and the same could be said of firemen, fitness instructors and the other popular responses.

Times have changed, and with the married women on our site mainly stuck in sexless marriages, they don’t want to sit and wait for someone to court them – they’re dominant, and they’ll seek the initiative to turn their seduction fantasy into a reality.”

The fantasy also derives from its plausibility, with as many as 77% respondents admitting that they’ve flirted and made passes with men in the aforementioned professions.

“It’s a not too uncommon scenario,” explains Grant.

“If one’s husband is out of the house, and the incredibly attractive gardener, plumber (or whatever it may be) is alone with the married women in question… well, it’s easy to put two and two together and make four.”

Interestingly, the survey also revealed the professions that they’d least like to seduce, with postmen, delivery men, milkmen and IT technician topping this particular list with 20%, 18%, 12% and 10% of the vote respectively.

“While we all eagerly anticipate the postman or delivery man knocking on our door when we’re awaiting a package, we’re more interested in what’s in their hand than the messenger themselves. I’m afraid that there’s very little that’s deemed charming, sexy or even remotely attractive about these jobs.”

Professions Women Would Most Like to Seduce

  1. Gardener (34%)
  2. Other (21%)
  3. Fireman (16%)
  4. Fitness Instructor (12%)
  5. Mechanic (10%)
  6. Carpenter (7%)

Hell really does hath no fury like a woman scorned – they are more ruthless at ending marriages after discovering an affair, according to new study

Image result for hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

* Men are MORE willing to forgive affairs than women;
* Women are better at hiding their cheating behaviour than men;
* Facebook is most common reason for a woman starting an affair;
* Most common reason for men was dissatisfaction in the bedroom;
* Results are from a new survey of 1,000 adulterers by IllicitEncounters.com – Britain’s leading dating website for married people
MEN are more willing to forgive affairs than women, according to new study.
It found that 67% of men are prepared to give marriage a second chance after discovering their wife’s betrayal.
In contrast, only 52% of women say they would stay with their husband after discovering his adultery.
The main reason why men are more forgiving is because of the reasons why men and women cheat in the first place.
A third of men (32%) said their wife had cheated because they had been neglectful and they could understand why they had strayed.
Almost half of wives (54%) said they were unable to move on from the adultery because they felt it was part of a pattern and would happen again.
The results come from a new survey of 1,000 adulterers by IllicitEncounters.com – Britain’s leading dating website for married people.
It found that women are better at hiding their affairs than men.
Just over half of female adulterers (52%) said their husband had no idea they had been unfaithful despite having several affairs.
Only 42% of male cheats remained completely undiscovered.
The key to saving a marriage in the wake of an affair is how the other half discovers the betrayal.
If the women owns up and pledges to stay with her husband, the marriage survives in 82% of cases.
But if the man confesses and wants to save his marriage, he is only successful in 68% of cases – again because of this pattern of cheating.
If the woman is caught out by her husband, the survival rates drops to 52%.
If the man is caught cheating, the survival rate is slightly worse at 42% – showing again that women are more ruthless in dealing with betrayal.
The most common reason for a new affair for women is Facebook – where they are likely to hook up with an old flame. Facebook is now cited in a third of all divorce cases
For men, the most common reason for a new affair is dissatisfaction in the bedroom and the desire for fresh excitement.
IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said: “The phrase hell hath no fury like a woman scorned really does seem to be rooted in fact.
“This new IllicitEncounters research shows that women really do react much more badly to cheating that men and that a husband’s adultery is more likely to end in divorce than a wife’s.
“Women are better at covering up their cheating than men and it clear that there are millions of husbands who have no idea about their wife’s illicit behaviour.”
Women date more actively on IllicitEncounters.com than men – enjoying an average of three dates a month compared to men’s two.
The site, an authority on infidelity, has more than a one million registered members and most people on the site remain with their spouses while discreetly seeing other partners.

Beware of the figure 9 – it is the danger age for affairs, according to a new study

* People are more likely to cheat in the last year of a decade – when they are 19, 29, 39, 49 and 59;
* The most dangerous age of all for cheating is 39 – the same age as stars Orlando Bloom, Chris Martin and Liv Tyler;
* The last year of a decade is seen a watershed in people’s lives – and they are more likely to look for fresh excitement;
* Most common reason for cheating is a lack of excitement in the bedroom at home;
* Results come from a new study of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people

People are more likely to cheat on their partners in the last year of a decade of their lives, according to new study.
It means that men or women are more likely to be unfaithful when they are 19, 29, 39, 49 or 59.

The last year of decade is seen as a watershed in people’s lives – and they are more likely to assess their options and look for fresh excitement.

The most dangerous age for affairs is 39 – because for many people, life really does begin at 40.

Famous people who are 39 include actors Orlando Bloom and Michael Fassbender, Coldplay singer Chris Martin and actresses Liv Tyler and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

There is no suggestion that any of them have cheated or are planning to cheat, but they have all reached the ‘danger age’ when people are more likely to stray.

The second most popular cheating age is 49.

Famous people who are 49 include Nicole Kidman, former Prime Minister David Cameron, Noel Gallagher from Oasis and Keifer Sutherland from 24.

The third most vulnerable age for cheating is 29.

That is the same age as supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whitely and England goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The results come from a new study of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people.
It looked at patterns for cheating and the most common ages when people stray from their partners.

It found that the five top reasons for cheating were: 1 Lack of excitement in the bedroom – 76% 2 An opportunity came along I could not refuse – 54% 3 I was bored with my current partner – 46% 4 I reconnected with an old flame on social media 28% 5 I fancied a change – 22%.

The study found that people were twice as likely to go looking for a new partner online in the last year of a decade than at other times.

There were 18% more profiles in this age category than for other years in the decade.

IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said: “Beware of the figure 9 – it is the
danger age as far affairs are concerned.

“This is applicable to men and women. Both go looking for affairs when they are on the verge of entering a new decade.

“IllicitEncounters.com research shows that some people cheat to get their partner’s attention. If their partner’s a workaholic or unavailable to them, being caught with someone else is a way of saying: ‘Hey, if you love me, pay attention to me!’

“‘Payback cheating’ is also common. If you’ve cheated in the past or done something else to hurt your partner, they might retaliate to get even.”

IllicitEncounters.com, the leading authority on infidelity, has more than one million registered members in the UK.

Its subscriptions rise by 25% over the summer months as more people look for fun in the sun.

Why You’ll Never Look At Brown Rice, Sweet Potatoes and Edamame the Same Way Again

  • Over half of male adulterers are adopting a superfood-heavy diet in order to get fit and ‘woo’ someone outside of their marriage
  • The most popular superfoods are brown rice (15%), sweet potatoes (13%) and edamame (12%)
  • Marks & Spencer (33%) and Waitrose (27%) are the most popular supermarkets of choice for male adulterers in search of superfoods
  • The survey of over 1,000 people is brought to you by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity

Is your husband buying walnuts because he’s being led by his nuts? A new survey seems to suggest that that’s the case.

The survey of over 1,000 male adulterers on IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people and the leading authority on infidelity, revealed that over half (53%) are stocking up on superfoods in their bid to get fit to ‘woo’ a new person outside of their marriage.

The most popular superfoods? Brown rice (15%), sweet potatoes (13%), and edamame (12%), as the site’s spokesman, Christian Grant, explains:

“With superfoods all the rage these days, a deluges of people are changing their diet in an attempt to get fit and healthy, but for adulterers, you can’t help but question the motives.

For all of us, when there’s a new man or lady that’s caught your eye, it’s only natural to be motivated to do whatever you can to attract their attention, and improving our physical appearance is normally priority number one.

With a lot of the members on IllicitEncounters.com in long-term marriages, you could say that they’ve rested on their laurels a little bit, but that all changes when they find someone new and the whole dating process begins anew.

So if your partner has developed a sudden and inexplicable urge for asparagus, spinach or brown rice, to name but a few foods, alarm bells should be ringing.”

Theo, a 38-year-old life coach from London, added:

“I didn’t even know what canola oil was two weeks ago, but now my cupboards are stocked full of the stuff. Luckily my wife is none the wiser – she’s actually pleased that I’m getting in shape – so it’s worked out quite well!”

Respondents were also asked for their supermarket of choice and, perhaps unsurprisingly, it was Marks & Spencer (33%) and Waitrose (27%), who’ve a reputation for being more premium than the rest of their competitors, who came in 1st and 2nd place respectively.

The least popular supermarkets were ASDA (8%), ALDI (5%) and LIDL (4%), as Grant explains:

“When you’re working to better yourself to impress someone else, you don’t cut corners – you want to look your best, and that’s reflected in the places in which you shop.”

A Parliamentary Affair – Gove Repels More than Just Conservative Voters

  • Men and women would most like to cheat with Stephen Crabb and Gloria De Piero respectively
  • Most men would completely avoid Nicky Morgan, while Michael Gove sends most women running for the hills
  • Most men would leave their wife for Theresa May, thanks to her solvency and power, while most women would do the same for Nick Clegg
  • Outgoing Prime Minister David Cameron earned just 2% of the female vote for the politician women would most like to have an affair with, with 3% voting for him in the ‘avoid’ category.
  • 18% of women would avoid Nigel Farage entirely
  • The results are brought to you by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading authority on infidelity

Underneath the political civil war and seemingly impending doom and gloom of a post-Brexit Britain, IllicitEncounters.com, the leading authority on infidelity, asked its members to take part in a slightly different kind of poll, with over 1,000 of them voting on which politician they would most like to have an affair with, divorce their spouse for or avoid entirely.

The results reveal that most women (30%) would most like to have an affair with conservative MP Stephen Crabb, while men would most like to be unfaithful with Labour MP Gloria De Piero – she received 40% of the male vote.

Perhaps rather surprisingly, Theresa May was voted as the politician that most men would divorce their partner for (33%), with 75% of those who voted for her citing her solvency and seemingly imminent rise to the top table as their main reasons for doing so.

The women approached things from a different angle; not choosing someone who was in power, rather someone who has recently relinquished it, as 30% would divorce their husband for former Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg.

33% of those who voted for Clegg did so because they thought he was a decent and genuine man, while 25% said that they thought he would make a good father.

And for the politician that most people would avoid? Well, Michael Gove was a comfortable winner here, raking in 40% of the female vote, while Jeremy Corbyn finished in 2nd place with 20% of the vote.

Men, meanwhile, would most avoid education secretary Nicky Morgan, who gained 35% of the vote. She beat Shadow Health Secretary Diane Abbot, who came second with 25% of the vote.

Outgoing Prime Minister David Cameron earned just 2% of the female vote for the politician women would most like to have an affair with, with 3% voting for him in the ‘avoid’ category.

Former Labour leader Ed Miliband edged out Cameron in both categories, receiving 3% and 4% of the vote respectively.

Former UKIP leader and Brexit figurehead Nigel Farage received 10% of the female vote for the politician women would most like to have an affair with, but 18% would avoid him entirely.

“Politicians are rarely known for their beauty…” says IllicitEncounters.com’s spokesperson, Christian Grant, “…but there are certainly a few presentable MPs.

It was no surprise to see the presentable Stephen Crabb and Gloria De Piero top their respective polls.

With that having been said, perhaps the most notable point is the difference between men and women when it came to the politician they’d most likely divorce their own partner for.

While men gravitated to Theresa May for her power and status – and less so her physical appearance – women placed more importance on different issues, voting for who they felt was the most decent and honest person, as well as who would make the best father.”

Full details of the winners (and/or losers) are listed below:

Sex Is On Fire, As Rock Listeners Are More Likely to Have an Affair

Sex Is On Fire, As Rock Listeners Are More Likely to Have an Affair

  • Rock fans are more likely to have an affair, with 27% of adulterers on IllicitEncounters.com citing rock as their favourite genre
  • In 2nd place was country music, followed by blues
  • The joint least adulterous genres were R & B and House
  • Over half of respondents (55%) wouldn’t date someone if they had opposite musical tastes
  • Sexy symbols, such as Mick Jagger and Jim Morrison, have undoubtedly influenced their fans with their adulterous misdemeanours
  • The survey was conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the leading authority on infidelity.

(Illicit) sex is on fire, so says a new survey. IllicitEncounters.com, the leading authority on infidelity, surveyed over 1,000 of their members and found that fans of rock music are most likely to pursue an extramarital affair.

Over a quarter (27%) of respondents chose rock music as their favourite genre, which included the sub-genres of punk rock, alternative rock, grunge, prog rock and rock ‘n’ roll.

Country music came second with 20%, blues third with 14%, while pop music and funk & soul rounded off the top five, receiving 12% and 7% of the votes respectively.

Other genres such as metal, rap and hip hop, r & b, house and electronic/dance received just a small percentage of the overall vote.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, Christian Grant, said:

“With the average age of men and women on IllicitEncounters being approximately 47 and 42-years-old respectively, it’s perhaps of little surprise that rock music come out on top, with many of our members growing up in an era where some of the biggest rock bands of all time were at their peak.

That’s not forgetting the inextricable links between rock music and sex. Whether it’s Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones, Jim Morrison of The Doors or Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, rock music has always provided sex symbols, many of which have led the way with regards to promiscuity.

There’s no doubt that many of our members would have idolised and have been influenced by these artists at some point in their youth.”

Interestingly, the survey also revealed that over half (55%) of members wouldn’t date someone whose music taste is the polar opposite of their own, as Grant explains:

“When establishing a connection with someone, be it friendship or romance, you’re always looking for some common ground, and music is a biggie. Everyone likes music in some form or another, so it’s almost guaranteed to come up in conversation. With so many people passionate about music, vastly different tastes can be a real turnoff.

On the other hand, there are still plenty of people who relish discovering new music that they wouldn’t otherwise go out of their way to listen to, so a partner with different tastes can expand their horizons.”

The full results are as follows:

Genre of Music Percentage of Vote
Rock 27%
Country 20%
Blues 14%
Pop 12%
Funk & Soul 7%
Classical 6%
Rap & Hip Hop 5%
Metal 3%
Other 2%
Electronic/Dance 2%
House 1%
R & B 1%

Yes! Yes! Yes! 68% of women admit faking orgasms – and almost a third of men, too – according to new study

* Men or women who are cheating are much less likely to fake it when they are with their illicit lover;
* Main reason both sexes fake it is to spare their long-term partner’s feelings because sex was taking too long;
* Women are eight times more likely to fake an orgasm with a long-term partner than with a new love;
* Half of women (54%) and 36% of men say there is nothing wrong in faking it;
* Four out of ten women (42%) said they found it easy to fool a lover into thinking they have climaxed;
* Results are from a new survey of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com – Britain’s leading dating website for married people
Almost seven out of ten women have faked an orgasm – and nearly a third of men, too, according to new study.
It found that 68% of women and 28% of men have pretended to climax with a partner.
Half the women surveyed (54%) said they had faked it because the sex was taking too long and they didn’t want to hurt their partner’s feelings.
Other reasons women gave for pretending were they found sex boring (37%), not in the mood (36%),  too tired (35%),  they had drunk too much alcohol (28%), their partner was new and could not satisfy them (16%), they struggle to climax through intercourse (15%).
Sparing a partner’s feeling was the main reason men fake it – chosen by 22% of those questioned, followed by too much alcohol (20%).
One in ten men said they had faked an orgasm during a one-night stand after realising they had made a mistake.
The results come from a new poll of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people.
It found that women were eight times more likely to fake an orgasm with their husband or long-term partner than with a new lover or someone with whom they were cheating.
Men were three times more likely to pretend with their wife or long-term partner than with someone they had just started dating or having an affair with.
Half the women questioned (54%) said they saw nothing wrong in faking a climax because to reveal the truth would cause more harm.
Fewer men (36%) saw nothing wrong in faking it.
Four out of ten women (42%) said that it was ‘easy’ to fool men into thinking they have climaxed.
Only 12% of men said they would find faking it ‘easy’.
Actress Megan Ryan is probably responsible for the most famous faked female orgasm in movies in the scene in Where Harry Met Sally where she
explained how easily women can fool men by faking an orgasm while eating in a busy diner.
IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said: “It is very clear from these findings that there are a lot of women having rubbish sex with their husbands and long-term boyfriends and faking it to spare their feelings.
“It is easier to do that than confront the deeper problems in a relationship.
“Perhaps what is more surprising is how many men are faking it, too – largely for the same reasons as women. They put on an act because their marriage or long-term relationship is stale  and they are going through the motions when it comes to sex.
“All IllicitEncounters.com research shows that couples enjoy their best sex right at the start of a relationship when things are still fresh and you are both excited to be trying something new.”
IllicitEncounters.com has more than one million members in the UK.
Male members are mostly white collar professionals – earning an average of £54,000 a year.
Women tend to be younger than male members and they date more frequently – averaging three dates a month to men’s two.

New bawls please! Sex is like tennis – women are far noisier than men, according to a new survey

* 88% of women said they were louder than their partners during love-making;
* 64% of men said their women were noisier, too;
* Most couples say sex is much better when it is noisy;
* Married men and women are quieter when having sex with their spouse than they are with their lover;
* Findings come from a new poll of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people

Women are far noisier than men when they are having sex, according to a new survey.

A whopping 88% of women admitted that they were louder than their partners during love-making, and 64% of men polled also confirmed that their female lovers drowned them out when they were getting intimate.

The findings were revealed in a poll of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people.
With Wimbledon just weeks away, the survey found that sex is like tennis – with women making all the noise.

Making a racket in the sack adds to the fun for most couples: seven out of ten men (71%) said they liked it when their partner made noise during sex. Almost as many women (62%) said they enjoyed it when their men audibly expressed pleasure during sex.

The survey found that 59% of men and 57% of women had been overheard having sex because they were making so much noise.
A further 65% of men and 63% of women had heard other couples during love-making.

Married men and women who are unfaithful are quieter when making love to their spouse than they are with their lover.

Six out of ten women (62%) and 72% of men said they did make more noise in bed when they were cheating.

Scientists say there is no reason why women should be noisier than men – either in bed or on the tennis court.

IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said:

“Noisy sex tends to be an individual thing. Some people scream the house down at a concert, others watch without making a sound; it doesn’t mean they’re not enjoying it as much!

One theory might be that since women fake it more often than men do, perhaps they feel obliged to provide ‘evidence’ that they’re enjoying themselves?

It is interesting that people having affairs make more noise when having sex with their lovers than they do with their married partners. All of IllicitEncounters.com’s evidence suggests that this is because the sex is more exciting when you’re having an affair.

Most people who stay in a marriage while cheating on their partner say they end up straying because their sex life at home has become staid and boring.”
