Dating Site Launches ‘Anti-Guilt’ Perfume to Help Cheaters Feel Less Remorse

IllicitEncounters.com has developed a unisex scent scientifically formulated to reduce affair guilt by 67%.

* Created by a renowned British neurochemist, the perfume uses pheromone technology to activate confidence and suppress anxiety.

* More than 2,000 bottles sold within the first 48 hours.

* The fragrance is available exclusively to members of IllicitEncounters.com.

IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating site for married people has unveiled a new perfume exclusively for its members: “Eau de Innocence”, the first-ever pheromone unisex scent scientifically designed to suppress post-affair guilt.

The fragrance, priced at £99.99 per 100ml bottle, is formulated using a unique blend of dopamine-enhancing compounds and cortisol blockers to reduce stress and anxiety after an illicit encounter, allowing users to return home feeling confident and composed.

With an alluring scent featuring warm vanilla, smoky oud, and zesty bergamot, the affairs site claims the perfume creates ‘an irresistible aura of confidence and control’.

IllicitEncounters.com spokesperson Jessica Leoni explains: “We know from our members that the biggest challenge of having an affair isn’t the affair itself – it’s the guilt that can come afterwards. Our ‘anti-guilt’ fragrance is designed to counteract that feeling, allowing people to enjoy their encounters without emotional baggage.”

Developed over four years in collaboration with renowned British neurochemist Dr. Noah Candish, the fragrance is infused with a synthetic version of a pheromone found in naturally dominant, high-status individuals. In a controlled study of 200 IllicitEncounters.com members, 67% reported feeling significantly less post-affair guilt after using the fragrance, thanks to its unique formula that

  • Lower levels of cortisol, the stress hormone associated with guilt and anxiety
  • Enhance dopamine production, increasing feelings of pleasure and self-assurance
  • Activate ‘power pheromones’, similar to those found in confident, successful leaders

Dr. Candish explains: “Guilt is a biochemical response triggered by a hormonal imbalance. By manipulating the wearer’s neurochemical state through scent, we’ve developed a product that enhances self-confidence while muting anxiety. The result? A guilt-free, worry-free return home after a passionate affair.”

Within 48 hours of launch, more than 2,000 bottles of “Eau de Innocence” were sold, with stock expected to run out before the weekend.

“We anticipated strong demand, but this has exceeded all expectations,” says Leoni. “The success of this fragrance proves that people aren’t looking for permission to cheat – they just want to enjoy themselves without unnecessary emotional turmoil.”

Eau de Innocence is available exclusively to members of IllicitEncounters.com.

Can you smell a (love) rat? Study reveals cheats’ most popular scents

* The top ten fragrances worn by cheats has been revealed in a new study – Dior Sauvage took the top spot (24%), followed by Chanel Allure (17%) and Versace Eros (12%).

* A whopping 82% of men admitted they use a separate fragrance depending on whether they’re spending time with their lovers or primary partners.

* 1 in 3 men revealed they’ve bought their partners the same fragrance worn by their mistresses in order to mask any odours that could give away their infidelity.

* Study conducted by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest extramarital dating site

They say the nose knows, but can it sniff out a cheater? A study by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest dating site for people seeking extramarital affairs, has exposed the fragrances most popular among those who stray.

In this scent-sational survey which involved 2,000 men signed up to the affairs site, they were asked which fragrance is their go-to. The findings revealed that 1 in 4 men choose Dior Sauvage when aiming to charm their extramarital partners with its bold and rugged scent.

Chanel Allure, known for its sophisticated and timeless aroma, came in second (17%), while the seductive Versace Eros ranked third (12%) among the fragrances most worn by adulterers.

The survey also revealed that a whopping 82% of men admitted to wearing a different fragrance when meeting their affair partner, showcasing a calculated approach to their scent selections.

And, over half of men (53%) reported that wearing a particular scent gave them a confidence boost during their secret rendezvous, helping them feel more attractive and self-assured.

Gifting perfume to a spouse might seem innocent, but the study uncovered a more cunning motive. 32% of men admitted to giving their wives the same perfume their lovers wear, in a bid to blur scent trails and avoid suspicion.

But why these particular scents? It’s all about the emotions they evoke and the confidence they instil, according to sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com.

“Scent is a powerful sense directly linked to memory and emotion,” she says. “Choosing a particular fragrance for an affair is a strategic move to create a memorable and passionate experience.

Leoni also warns of the potential pitfalls. “Scent can be a giveaway. If the partner recognizes the fragrance, it could lead to suspicion and discovery. It’s a risky game that many might not even realise they’re playing.”

James from Hull, a member of the married dating site who took part in the study, said, “I swear by Dior Sauvage when meeting women from the site. It’s not just about smelling good – it’s about the confidence and allure it gives me. When I wear Sauvage, I feel like I can conquer anything because it gives me an edge, a sense of invincibility that’s crucial when I’m meeting someone new.

When I met up with my first lover, I was nervous but the moment she commented on how great I smelled, it was like a switch flipped. We connected instantly, and I think a lot of that is thanks to the fragrance I was wearing, which is why I made it my signature scent for secret meets.

I’ve been seeing my current lover for over three months now, and at one point I was getting quite self-conscious, constantly worrying about whether I’m leaving any tracks that would make my wife suspicious. So, to cover all bases, I bought my wife the same perfume as my lover in the hope of blurring the lines.

My wife has always loved receiving perfumes as gifts, so it wasn’t unusual for me to buy her one. When I chose my lover’s perfume for her, it was a strategic move in case she ever caught a whiff of it on me. It’s a way to keep my worlds from colliding.”

Woman makes shocking decision after finding out cheating husband used campervan for an affair

* A Reddit post from a concerned wife sparked a frenzied discussion about the use of campervans to disguise infidelity last week.
* The user has now provided an update, confirming her worst fears and revealing her next steps to seek revenge – by having her own affair.
IllicitEncounters.com has been in touch with the woman, offering her lifetime Emerald membership on the UK’s largest married dating site.

A worried wife took Reddit by storm last week, sharing her concerns about her husband’s potential infidelity, as her female intuition led her to believe that he’d been ‘up to no good’ in their campervan.

The woman, having bought the campervan with her husband during lockdown in 2020, described how she’d started to question whether his excuses of “ overnight work trips” and using the campervan as “his office” were real after she entered the vehicle days and was overwhelmed with the “stench of female perfume”.

The original post titled “I think my husband’s having an affair in our campervan” racked up nearly 500,000 views and now, the woman has provided a shocking update.

After finding sexy underwear “stuffed in a drawer inside the camper” over the weekend, the suspicious wife confronted her husband with the evidence in hand, who soon admitted to infidelity.

In an unexpected twist, the Reddit user updated the community revealing her plans for revenge – by having her own affair.

The woman controversially confessed to signing up to married dating sites, “taking control and refusing to be the victim”.

Jessica Leoni, sex and relationships expert at IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest married dating site, commented on the controversial Reddit post, “It’s not uncommon for scorned lovers to want to get revenge after finding out about a betrayal – especially women.

In a survey we conducted back in March, we found that 38% of women admitted to revenge cheating after discovering their partner’s infidelity. Just 27% of men, on the other hand, retaliated by being unfaithful.

After following this woman’s story on Reddit, we reached out to her and she’s now been offered lifetime Emerald membership on IllicitEncounters.com.

There’s something undeniably liberating about taking control of your own narrative, especially when you’ve been wronged. We hope that a revenge affair can serve as a form of catharsis for this woman, allowing her to reclaim her confidence and sense of independence in the face of heartache.”
