Intelligent People More Likely to Cheat, Especially Women!

yaa0qvbcyabcgpmsqppc

Intelligent people are most likely to have affairs, especially women, according toIllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading married dating site.

The website looked at the educational qualifications of its nearly 1 million members in the UK. The findings show that 72% of female members have higher education qualifications of Bachelor’s Degrees or above whereas male members fared slightly lower with 65%.

Education, however, was not a standalone factor when analyzing a person’s intelligence. The website also cross examined the profiles of 500 currently active members of IllicitEncounters.com and found that 61% spoke more than one language, 48% described themselves as ‘creative’ and 34% ran their own business.

The majority of members on the site are in senior professions and earning high salaries (either in the higher rate or additional rate tax band), it is clear that intelligence impacts success.

“Appearing to have a successful life immediately makes you more desirable.” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “It is unsurprising that successful people are faced with temptation when others are instantly attracted to them. Successful people tend to be high earners who have the financial means to indulge in an additional discrete relationship. They are also natural problem solvers and better negotiators who are more likely to take calculated risks – if they see a problem in their marriage but for whatever reason they cannot or do not want to leave, the obvious solution is to have an affair!”

The rise in women choosing to cheat on their spouses could be due to women choosing to focus on their careers and have children later in life, with the average age of women having kids currently at 30 years old. With better financial stability and less commitment, wives choosing to have an affair are on the increase.

The National Opinion Research Centre’s General Social Survey of American Society 2013 confirmed there has been an increase in women having affairs by 40%, while men having affairs remained consistent at 21%. IllicitEncounters.com has also seen an increase of 18% of female members joining the site in the last 12 months alone. With better financial stability, better education and less commitments, attached women choosing to take on another lover are on the rise.

Boris Voted Most Bed-able Politician in Dating Site Version of Snog, Marry, Avoid

mdbpachcgxfnbixnvbkv

With the impending elections, IllicitEncounters.com has asked its members to take part in a slightly different kind of poll. Instead of snog marry and avoid, 500 members were asked which politicians they would most like to cheat with, divorce their spouse for or avoid.

The results reveal that most women would like to cheat with Boris Johnson with over half of the vote (52%) and men would like to be unfaithful with Esther McVey (47%).

In the ‘divorce spouse for’ category Nick Clegg came top for women with 38% and Gloria De Piero for men with 35%.

The politician that has us running for the hills in the ‘avoid’ category is Nigel Farage with a staggering 64% of the vote and Nicola Sturgeon (58%).

Runners up in the ‘most likely to cheat with’ included Jeremy Hunt, Grant Shapps, Penny Mordaunt, Caroline Flint and Elizabeth Truss suggesting that Conservative politicians appeal to a more illicit audience.

David Cameron received 11% of the votes in the marry category whilst Ed Miliband didn’t fare so well receiving 6% of the votes in the avoid category.

The poll was carried out by IllicitEncounters.com the UK’s leading married dating website with almost 1 million UK members.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com Claire Page said “Affairs and politics seem to go hand in hand, from John Major, Bill Clinton to Francois Holland, politicians are stereotypically bad at being faithful.”

“With the results released, the most hilarious finding has got to be Boris Johnson winning the title of person we would most like to cheat with! In a bizarre way, he emulates his hero Winston Churchill. He’s a sensationalist – between his comments on Islamic fundamentalists and suicide bombers, to his very fitting (or not so!) jokes about pro-having and pro-eating policies on cake, he’s certainly gifted at grabbing headlines. You have to admit, he’s got charm, so, in a way, it’s not difficult to see why women like him”

Full details of the winners are listed below:

Have an affair with
Boris Johnson
Marital Status: Married.

Once quoted saying ‘I’ve slept with far fewer than 1000’

“Step in line ladies and form an orderly queue. Since Bojo first came into the public eye we have been fascinated by him, he is brazen and has charisma. There is no denying he has become a symbol for all things London – and with the highest percentage of members from here, it is no surprise we have formed a strong attachment to the politician. He would make an ideal candidate for an affair, picture this –an illicit afternoon cycling along the Thames – although it would be a bit hard to disguise that floppy blonde hair of his!”

Esther Mcvey
Marital Status: Single

Once quoted saying ‘Marriage never came my way, I don’t know why.’

“Former GMTV presenter, also known as Fester Mcvile. She is opinionated and feisty – this slightly intimidating blonde bombshell is exactly the kind of woman a man would fantasize sleeping with outside of their marriage. Reminiscent of a comic book supervillainess, and who wouldn’t want to sleep with Posion Ivy, just once, to see what it’s like?”

Would have a Divorce for
Nick Clegg
Marital Status: Married

Once quoted saying ‘My head spins. One moment I’m told I’m too edgy, then people say I’m too angry, then that I show too much passion … make your minds up,”

“Nick Clegg, a jack of all trades. He is an award winning journalist for the financial times, if you do the math – on that basis alone he would make an excellent prospective partner – the figures point towards financial security. Not only that, he is multilingual in five different European languages – which will make the holidays interesting!”

Gloria De Piero
Marital Status: Married

Once quoted saying ‘I hate to sound like a politician, but we must not allow ladders of opportunity to be taken beyond the reach of ordinary people,’

“Another former GMTV presenter, Gloria De Piero of Italian descent is the stunning girl next door. Someone you would be pleased to introduce to your family – she comes from a humble background and has become a rising star in the political world. Having launched a ‘Why do you hate me campaign’ to establish a better connection with the general public, she aims to challenge negative views of politicians. Beautiful and intriguing – it is no surprise men would leave their wives for her!”

Bubbling under in the ‘Divorce my spouse for’ were Tristram Hunt (27%), David Cameron (11%) and Luciana Berger (28%).

Avoid
Nigel Farage
Marital Status: Married

Once quoted saying ‘I think that politics needs a bit of spicing up.’

“Not the greatest reputation, often coming under fire for his controversial speeches. It seems the general consensus is to avoid this politician, with his extreme views on immigration and wanting to bring back smoking in pubs and clubs – he isn’t exactly popular. Al Murray would have probably fended better with his spoof of Nigel’s UKIP party act, The Pub Landlord.”

Nicola Sturgeon
Marital Status: Married

Once quoted saying ‘Where Mrs Thatcher divided society, I want to do the opposite’

“Let’s face it, with a huge 58% of the vote it is clear that Nicola Sturgeon simply doesn’t have those qualities we look for in a romance. The fact she’s in a committed 12 year relationship also puts her in that no-go zone.”

Other people in the avoid category included Eric Pickles (17%), Ed Miliband (6%) and Leanne Wood (21%).

Horse-Riding is the Top Fantasy First Date!

wnquvmo8krrqnikoumkz

If you want to seduce a woman, bring a mare with you because new research by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s top married dating site, shows that horse-riding is the top fantasy first date. 300 women on the site were asked what their ideal first date was and the most popular choice was ‘horse riding’ with 37% of the votes, beating ‘cinema’, ‘sailing’, ‘candle lit dinner’ and ‘drinks in a pub’.

“When women think about their ideal first date they associate passion and exciting things with romantic success,” psychologist Lucy Redford said, “Although something very over-the-top like a flight to Paris is intimidating and too extravagant, something active like horse-riding takes your mind off the pressure of a first date, it’s fun and shows you’ve put thought into the date because it requires more effort than a few pints in the local. Horses are also associated with wealth, which in itself is attractive, and require a lot of attention and care – and most women look for an attentive, caring man.”

“I am quite surprised that the cinema was the second most popular date,” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “Although it’s low-key and it takes the pressure off making great conversation, it can be quite awkward sitting in the dark with someone you don’t know very well. There’s something incredibly romantic about riding a horse alongside a lover, it doesn’t surprise me that it’s the number one fantasy first date. Hollywood has glamorised horse-riding with movies like Seabiscuit, Hidalgo, Something to Talk About and All the Pretty Horses, and there’s something incredibly passionate about darting into the wind on a horse – it’s liberating and exciting.”

‘Horse riding’ scooped 37% of the votes, beating ‘cinema’ (21%), ‘sailing’ (16%), ‘candle lit dinner’ (13%) and ‘drinks in a pub’ (9%). The least popular first dates were hot air balloons trips (2.5%), a football match (2.5%), a trip to a museum (2%), a massage (1.5%), a trip abroad (1%), fringe stand-up comedy (1%) and shopping (0.5%).

Rise in Estate Agents bringing their mistresses to Show Houses!

dzqklylr3i5ixvoh1nso

There has been a sharp rise in estate agents bringing their mistresses to show houses, both for fantasy house shopping and bedroom rendezvous, according to married dating website, IllicitEncounters.com. One in twenty five (3.8%) people on the adulterous site claim to have had, or currently be in, affairs with estate agents. These people were asked why estate agents are great mistress/ histress material and the top three reasons were:

1)They’re great liars.

2)They’re financially stable.

3)They’re professional and understand the boundaries of an affair.

This fantasy house shopping is well-received by their partners because it “brings a sense of escapism” according to 89 mistresses in London. The most popular show house affair locations were Richmond, Chelsea, South Kensington and Canary Wharf.

“One customer told us she had been taken to a house on Billionaire’s row in Hampstead, North London, which was on the market for £65 million!” Claire Page, spokesperson for Illicit Encounters said, “The growing trend isn’t difficult to understand – show houses are cheaper and more comfortable than a hotel, although if I thought a high-earning estate agent was bringing me to a show house to save on money, I wouldn’t be impressed, but then again, unlike a hotel bill, it’s more discrete as it doesn’t leave a money trail, so it’s a safer option.”

“Thatcherism began the fantasy house shopping craze.” Psychologist Lucy Redford said, “When the Prime Minister declared her belief in a ‘property owning democracy’, it made the common family believe that through hard work and practical thrift, they could own their own house. For the first time in history, the idea of substantial assets being available to everyone was incredibly attractive – it brought financial security and a great deal of freedom. It’s the same factors that make property buying today so attractive. Fantasy house shopping and property porn are bigger than ever and so the rise of estate agents and property developers bringing their mistresses to lavish houses isn’t difficult to understand.”

You’re caught! The Top Ten Apps that Bust Affairs!

You’re caught! The Top Ten Apps that Bust Affairs!

Married dating site IllicitEncounters.com released a list of the top apps that are to blame for breakups. The list was based on votes from 100 women, all who found out their husbands were having affairs on apps.

The top ten adultery-busting apps were:

1) Facebook – The biggest culprit is the social network giant. 76% of women said they became suspicious when they logged into their partner’s Facebook and found out he was messaging other women; stalked his female friends and found out he was still friends with an ex; or saw he had become friends with someone they later discovered he was having an affair with.

2) Whatsapp – 34% of women said their suspicions were raised when they found their husband was in contact with other women, or could see that he was lying about his location, via Whatsapp.

3) i-Message – Any communication through i-Message also goes to your iPad, laptop etc. so if your laptop is at your house, along with your wife, you might get busted. 29% of women said they became aware of their husband’s affair through his i-Message communications.

4) Snapchat – Often mistaken as the best app if you’re having an affair because images are wiped after ten seconds, people forget that you can take a screenshot of your images and that your history shows who you’ve been in contact with. 27% of women said they became suspicious when they saw contact from other women on their husband’s phone via Snapchat – more than half of these women said they would have been less suspicious if they could see what the pictures were, but the secrecy made them more suspicious.

5) Manything – It’s CCTV for your phone, laptop or tablet. It livestreams and records the inside of your house to the cloud. 19% of women said they had caught their husbands cheating or speaking to their mistress on the phone when they were out of the house via Manything.

6) Find my iPhone – This app locates people in seconds so if you leave the house with your phone and you’re not where you say you are, you could land yourself in trouble. 11% of women said they found out their husband was not where he said he was by tracking him with Find my iPhone.

7) Kik – This adult-orientated app has an age restriction, for 17+. More than half of the members (57%) on Illicit Encounters said they use Kik for ‘sexting’ and sending ‘naughty pictures’. 7% of women surveyed said they became concerned about their husband’s fidelity when they saw the Kik app on his phone.

8) Lie Detector: True Scanner app – This is an application that can detect lies through the touch screen and by detecting physical changes in the body of the person being interrogated, such as changes in emotional state, blood pressure, mood detection, finger sweating and finger temperature. 5% of women said they knew their husband was lying about his fidelity when he didn’t pass the lie detector test or refused to take it.

9) Tinder – Discretion is abandoned by anyone having an affair and using Tinder. 4% of women said they doubted their husband’s faithfulness when they saw Tinder on his phone.

10) Find my Friend – 2% of women knew their husband was lying about his whereabouts when this app showed his location to be different to where he said he was.

“What I find most interesting about this list is how obvious some men are!” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “Discretion is our main priority and the most important thing when having a successful affair. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to be friends with their mistress or histress on Facebook – it’s just asking for trouble. Four in five breakups are linked with Facebook so if you’re having an affair, don’t learn from you own mistakes – learn from other people’s, and keep it off social media!”

Of the 100 women surveyed who found out their husbands were having affairs on apps, 28% stayed with their husbands. The top three reasons these women stayed with their husbands despite being aware of their husband’s infidelity were:

1) I cannot afford to leave him (57%)

2) I am having an affair too (32%)

3) I don’t want to change the family setup (7%)

Therapists at leading charity ‘Relationships Ireland’ say as many as 80% of marriages they are trying to save have fallen apart partly because of Facebook.

According to a study by journal CyberPsychology, 28 million couples break up every year because of Facebook or Whatsapp.

Increase Number of Geriatric Affairs, thanks to Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel!

gtixruz213vkhazspzg5

Hollywood has inspired a generation in their mature years to get married and start affairs, according to new research by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s top married dating website, who have seen an 87.5% over the past two years in members over the age of 50.

Although there’s an increase in the number of people getting married in later life, there is also an increase in affairs – over 49,123 of members on IllicitEncounters.com are aged 60+ (an increase of 60% since 2013), while 137,040 are aged 50-59 (an increase of 115% since 2013).

“Our research shows that 71% of women get a confidence boost after an affair. The two biggest age brackets of these women were 50-59 and 40-49 respectfully,” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “We believe it’s this confidence boost that helps them leave a bad marriage or else start a new affair – one they deserve! Movies like The Quartet, The Second Best Marigold Hotel, A Song for Marion and The Hundred Foot Journey have all inspired adventure in later life, and love is the greatest adventure of all. Life is short, and it’s shorter when you’re in your mature years. People seem to get a wake-up call with an illness, stroke or health scare and realise how precious time is, and they’d be better off spending it with someone who makes them happy, rather than being trapped in a stale marriage”

There are currently 988,604 members on IllicitEncounters.com, and 186,163 are aged 50+, which means one in every five (19%) having an affair are over 50.

49,123 of members on IllicitEncounters.com are aged 60+ (an increase of 11,882 since 2013, and a 60% increase on the annual average), while 137,040 are aged 50-59 (an increase of 41,293 since 2013, and a 115% increase on the annual average).

After almost 30 years of decline, the number of marriages began to rise since 2013, led by women in their late 50s and male pensioners, to almost 250,000 marriages in 2013, according to the Office for National Statistics.

71% of women get a confidence boost after an affair. Of the women who said they got a confidence boost after an affair, the most popular age brackets were as follows:

1)50-59 (31%)

2)40-49 (24%)

3)60-69 (20%)

4)30-39 (11%)

5)21-29 (8%)

6)70-79 (6%)

Atheists are More Faithful than Christians!

ucgof3whh2idntksquxo

New information released today by married dating website IllicitEncounters.com crushes the argument that people who have no God have no moral compass.

Atheists have less affairs than Christians in the UK with more than ten Christian adulterers for every one Atheist.

IllicitEncounters members were asked what religious group they belonged to and Atheists scored only 6%, compared to 64% classing themselves as Christian.

“It’s incredibly ironic that Atheists are more faithful than Christians,” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “It proves the argument that what some people perceive as immoral – like adultery – isn’t increased by the lack of spiritual guidance. If the only reason you don’t kill someone, or steal, or covet thy neighbour’s wife, is because it tells you not to in the bible, to me, that’s a lot more worrying. To me, that says you can’t think for yourself what is right and wrong. Besides, for us and our 987,000 customers, we don’t look at affairs like most people do. There are many reasons people have affairs, it’s not as black and white as some people think.”

“Often, non-believers have a better interpretation of what is wrong and right than believers.” Psychologist Lucy Redford said “One of the main reasons people step away from Christianity is because they see hypocrisy, guilt and double-standards in the scriptures. For many, following a value system in a world that seems crippled with warped ideas and moral codes is, on one hand, a saving grace, but atheists are independent in their thinking – they don’t have an organisation telling them how to think, and they challenge any organised systems, like religion, government, work or politics they see as unjust. They don’t believe God makes everything happen – instead they make their own luck and take responsibility for the consequences.”

The Dirtiest Places Brits Have Sex!

pm1c3z0xndybmvlxa44v

Research released today by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s largest married dating site, shows just how naughty Brits are and how many of us get in it on in unusual and not always the most hygienic places – 500 surveyed were asked where they had sexual relations. The mile high club is less popular than people think – only 0.4% (2 in 500 people) said they had sex in an airplane; 6% had sex on a train or tube; 34% had sex in a toilet; 5.4% had sexual relations on a bus; 7% got hot and heavy in a tent; 76% had intimacies in a car, while 68% got down and dirty on kitchen surfaces.

Microbiologist Rhiannon Hayes said “The London underground is one of the dirtiest places in Britain. Toilets obviously contain a lot of bacteria but interestingly, we found higher levels of bodily fluid in the disabled toilets than in the non-disabled. Train seats are known to contain traces of semen, faeces, urine, alcohol, blood, grease, human skin, hair and sugar. In terms of household bacteria, the kitchen is a hive for germs. The average kitchen surface has very dangerous bacteria such as e-coli, listeria, salmonella and campylobacter – which can cause paralysis. Tents are also crawling with outdoor bacteria such as Xanthomonas campestris, while cars contain over 600 bugs and ten times more bacteria than a public toilet seat.”

“Presumably more people get it on in disabled than non-disabled toilets because there’s more room,” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “I don’t see the appeal of intercourse on the tube, but the evidence shows it happens. Apart from anything else, it’s incredibly unhygienic, but when passion is high and alcohol is involved, we all do things that aren’t exactly graceful. It doesn’t surprise me that the mile-high club isn’t as popular as Hollywood movies imply – have you ever been inside an airplane toilet? There’s hardly enough room to move, let alone get it on! The results I found most shocking were the amount of bacteria in cars. People are very conscious of keeping their homes clean but don’t pay as much attention to the interior cleanliness of their cars.”

Less than a third of people (31%) surveyed cleaned their car annually, while one in nine said they didn’t wipe down surfaces, and two in three said they never hoover their car’s interior.

The First Thing Women do After a Divorce is get a Hair Makeover!

mg5yhzqvqx0dggud2gvl

The First Thing Women do After a Divorce is get a Hair Makeover!

The most common first thing a woman does after getting divorced is get their hair done, before calling their mother, meeting up with their girlfriends or going for a drink, according to new research by married dating website IllicitEncounters.com. Women tend to follow in the footsteps of Cheryl, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Williams and Jennifer Aniston, all whom had hair makeovers after a breakup.

The research, which surveyed 200 divorced or legally separated female members of IllicitEncounters.com, also found that women having an affair spend up to three times more on visits to beauty salons and hairdressers than their faithful counterparts – one would guess they want to look their absolute best for their illicit lover.

Women also open up more to their hairdressers than some of their best friends or close family members. 62% of women (124) said they would sooner tell their relationship problems to their hairdressers than their mother, father or siblings. 68% of women said they would tell their hairdressers if they were having an affair before telling their best friends.

The top three reasons were:

  • 1)I get less judgement from my hairdresser.
  • 2)My hairdresser doesn’t know my partner so I can be more honest.
  • 3)They will be more honest with me because they know me but they’re not too close to give me a biased opinion.

More women tend to open up more when they’re getting highlights, treatments or cuts, than when they’re having a blow-dry as they’re not shouting over hairdryers.

Psychologist Lucy Redford said “There is a known psychological effect occurring between a hairdresser and their clients, they offer a non-bias, non-judgment environment which makes women feel comfortable in sharing the secrets. Clients place a lot of trust in someone cutting their hair and there is an extension of this trust when they confide in them, oftentimes telling them things they wouldn’t tell their closest friends or family members.”

However this theory doesn’t convert to men, who are surprisingly more likely to share their innermost secrets with a selected best friend rather than a stranger such as a hairdresser or a barber. Possibly the ‘bros before hoes’ code is still going strong among male adulterers enabling them to feel secure and supported whatever their actions may be.

“It makes perfect sense that women go straight to the hairdressers after a breakup.” Claire Page, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com said, “There’s something incredibly rejuvenating and reinvigorating about a hair makeover and it’s exactly what you need when you’ve ended something as emotional and physical as a relationship.”

Making someone laugh, being physically attractive and intellectually stimulating are all things we associate with turning someone on but new research by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK and Ireland’s largest married dating site, shows that food can be more arousing than any of these. On a first date, good food is almost twice as important as the date’s sense of humour.

500 members on Illicit Encounters were asked ‘what’s the most important thing on a first date?’ The top five answers were as follows:

  • 1)My food is good (32%)
  • 2)My date has a good sense of humour (20%)
  • 3)I look attractive (18%)
  • 4)My date looks attractive (12%)
  • 5)The conversation is intellectually stimulating (10%)

Dietician Nadine Walters said food is so important because it stimulates more of the senses (taste, smell, sight and hearing) than conversation (hearing) or physical presentation (sight and maybe touch). This is a list of her top ten aphrodisiacs and why they turn you on:

  • 1)Chocolate – “Large quantities of chocolate can lead to a rapid rise in blood sugar and a consequent drop below normal levels resulting in fatigue,” Walters said “But cocoa contains phenyl ethylamine, a stimulant that conjures feel-good emotions that makes you feel like getting close to someone and think sex is a fabulous idea.”
  • 2)Red wine – “We all know that alcohol helps you relax and unwind, but red vino contains resveratrol, a powerful antioxidant which helps blood flow and improves circulation before sex which makes you more sensitive.”
  • 3)Asparagus and avocados – “These super-healthy vegetables contain Vitamin E which helps your body produce hormones like oestrogen, testosterone and progesterone, all which circulate in your bloodstream and stimulate sexual responders like the clitoris and the vagina.”
  • 4)Chilies – “Not only do they boost energy, improve memory and even fight fat, they also contain capsaicin, a chemical which boosts circulation to get blood pumping and stimulates nerve endings, which means you’ll feel turned on. Result!”
  • 5)Oysters – “Perhaps the notion of gooey wobbly shellfish being an aphrodisiac is a bit hard to imagine but they’re brimming with zinc, a mineral which increases the production of testosterone, which increases your sex drive.”
  • 6)Bananas – “They give you potassium, a key nutrient to strength, which means when you orgasm, the contractions are very intense.”
  • 7)Pomegranates – “Full of antioxidants, they protect the lining of blood vessels, and improve circulation, which means increased genital sensitivity.”
  • 8)Walnuts – “They’re full of omega-3 fatty acids, which keep sex-hormone production high. Salmon, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, sardines and beef also contain omega-3 fatty acids.”
  • 9)Vanilla – “This sweet bean stimulates nerves and makes sexual sensation feel even better.”
  • 10)Watermelon – “This juicy fruit contains phytonutrient citrulline – this leads to an increase in nitric oxide in your body, which causes blood vessels to relax and speed up circulation. What does all this mean? You’ll get more aroused faster.”
