This website is notoriously slow and moving to another platform just means the messages get there faster …some do want to chat and other want to send dirty pictures but that’s up to you to state what you want from the beginning…you can use Telegram..I don’t use what’s app as my family use it ….Good luck

Most people on here have got a lot to lose. Cold feet can happen. No one wants to cause drama for you or anyone else. Last minute plans and locations are best. Less chance of other people getting to know places and times. Don't create routine, keep it different.

As a female who has met 2 males this summer on first-meets - and both wrecked their chances due to being paranoid, terrified and being like a rabbit in headlights - don't go!

Make yourself a cocoa and stay at home! Its better for the person you are meeting if you keep your worries to yourself!

I'm not being flip, but everyone is worried to some degree in this situation - and we are all taking risks.... so you go with it and leave the worries at the door, or you stay home! Personal view of course!

Agreed. You want a little bit of personality to stand out. So many of the male profiles (not checked out the female ones, lol) are clearly based on some lame and vague 'guidance' to encourage men to sign up. The similarly is so off putting in my view and doesn't give me an effing clue about the real person behind it. There are glorious exceptions of course!

all I ask is someone who knows themselves enough to produce a small factual bio on that basis..Thats a big part of the basis of my wanting to connect - so we dont all want the same things, no...but that's what I personally look for.... Just genuine and articulate individuality...
