Closer together?
The past few months have brought me and my IE closer together, he's seen me at my worst haha, and I mean that in every possible way, so I know his feelings for me are genuine. Especially with video chats, it's not always easy to have a full face of make up to take off for a cheeky 1-1 call.
I've found I've been able to be more of a natural and organic person with him, and he still likes me for me! I think this time, though a tragic time indeed, can really bring out some of the best in people and help you know who is truly there for you, and who isn't!

You are quite right. As it's harder to meet I find it interesting to get to know someone through messages and calls.

When you say "he's seen me at my worst" do you mean he's seen you without makeup only and not you acting/behaving badly in everyday situations as one would if living together full time???

I think it’s a good opportunity for us all to evaluate our lives and what is important. We are spending more time with our partners due to the lockdown, but after a while this gets mundane and we look forward to our IE. I for one have taken this time in lockdown to join this site.

@susan104, the fantasy was not about jumping into sex the next day. If you think about it, the risk is same even if you saw the person. Everyone knows that people can easily use someone even after seeing them. So hey what’s the difference? When you chat, call and talk to a person you will try to get to know that person. Gradually a relationship will be built. It’s not wham bham thank you mam. Will take time.

I mostly chat to my IE during the week, as I'm still working I've been doing my make up for work Zoom meetings, so he gets to see me straight after those haha
