For me, personally, it depends on who you meet or are messaging, chatting to at the time.
Some can message during the day. Some can’t.
Some can message in the evening. Some can’t.
When it comes to txts, messaging, WhatsApp etc… 🤔.
It all boils down to each “couple’s”, in the Ie sense of the word, circumstances.

If it becomes an issue for either one then I would say that is too much.

Got to remember a man can't multitask very well so too many things to do and he will give up and go down the pub.

I think it depends on what kind of arrangement you have and the balance between physical and emotional connection.

For me it was very much an emotional affair so we messaged every single day. It was never too much.

I guess it depends. It’s a balance between keeping in touch and not being a pesterer. I think it works itself out to some extent but if I were to put a number on it it would be 2 or 3 messages a week. Even that might be too much for some but it might be a ‘morning , what are you up to ?’ . I’d the relationship develops and there are multiple meetings / an affair , then the messages would become a little more frequent and sexual I think. There’d be a build up between meetings. At least this works in my head !
