Agree Paula99. Nothing unkind was said but the advice was very ‘raw’ (yet totally the best advice which I still haven’t followed 😂) and I was a bit of a mess emotionally with everything going on.

Glad I stuck around 😊

I think we all got a tough time when we first posted things on here ..I remember EE123 giving me some of her personality (I miss her comments💜)…but we have created a community and hopefully it will help others on their pathway to a successful affair ..😊

The more savvy on here will figure this out. I'd actually been snapped up before the penny dropped for me!

Interactions tell us far more about each other than a one dimensional profile ever will, but combine the two and you get a better all round picture of who someone is.

I did the same FFF! When I was looking last year I started reading the forum (never had before) then posted a few things about my situation- got a hard time originally 🙈

But I realised that every time I posted something I’d get profile views and messages! And then I realised how lovely some people were on here and how nice it is to share experiences so I’ve stayed.

Gentlemen (and ladies I guess), I am going to give you one insight into this site that I didn't understand until I was a couple of weeks in.

I started getting messaged directly by women after a couple of weeks (not huge amounts, maybe a couple a day at most), ones whose profiles I'd not looked at, sometimes all over the country and I couldn't figure out why, then it clicked. (and it turns out this is how my IE found me).

Ladies read these forums, some will interact and post themselves but many of them read and don't post at all. On a human level they form an opinion on who we are based on what we type and the manner in which we present it on here. Think about that when you're replying to comments on here. If you're jerk on here, it's assumed that's who you are in real life.

So unexpectedly for me, I was presenting my personality on what I though was a casual chat forum. I just thought nothing of it. It turned out I was unconsciously advertising who I was in a way a profile never could. Interesting.
