Paula99. It wasn’t a criticism. I was just stating what my experience was. I didn’t want to end it or, selfishly on my part, for it to end. What happened was she realised shortly after we started seeing each other that as a newly separated woman she wanted a ‘legitimate’ relationship with someone that was more available than a married man. And I don’t blame her one bit for that.

ManAlive2025….Why does it appear to be the ‘females’ always want more?

Single women seem to get the blame for this but believe me there are some bloody unscrupulous married people in here….by the way I am not single. …married or not we all have a lot to loose some more than others but you have decided to join the club and obey the rules you must ..

Being a mistress isn’t what is cracked up to be ...for some it can be a lonely place …no one to talk too and you have your ‘absent ‘ times when your lover is with his family ..

For those that like the idea and having a no frills option then go for it ….😊

As a married guy I think being with someone who is also married has a lot of advantages, especially, alongside the buzz of complicity, around the mutual understanding of the risks we are taking, wanting to protect each other at all costs and both understanding the planning thats sometimes needed in order to meet. Of course, seeing someone who is more available has its advantages too, but when I did that she ended it quite quickly when she realised she wanted something more permanent.

Nothing wrong with that, only issue would be if it ever came to romantic attachment by either party. Just because it did’t work out before doesn’t mean it never will.
But there are clear advantages of having a relationship that is just a section of your life and has nothing beyond its defined boundary.
To have a part of life drama free and just for the exchange of pleasure can be liberating and healthy.
