Beer goggles do exist – and you are more likely to have sex on date if you have been boozing, according to a new survey.

* Three-quarters of women said booze had made a man they had not previously fancied seem more attractive;
* 84% of men said alcohol had changed their first impressions of a female date and made them keener to take things further;
* The vast majority of women (86%) said they were more likely to sleep with a man on a date if alcohol was involved;
* 92% of men said booze made sex more likely on a date;
* The results from a new survey of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people

Three-quarters of women (74%) said that alcohol had made a man they had not previously fancied on a date seem more attractive.

And 84% of men said a few drinks had changed unfavourable first impressions of a female date and made them keener to take things further.

The vast majority of women (86%) said they were more likely to sleep with a man on a date if alcohol was involved.

Nine out of ten men (92%) said booze made sex more likely on a date.

The results come from a new survey of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, the leading dating website for married people.

The dictionary definition of beer boggles is the “phenomenon in which one’s consumption of alcohol makes physically unattractive persons appear beautiful.”

The survey found that 54% of women had ended up having sex with a man while wearing beer goggles.

In 84% of cases, the women had not seen the man for a further date.

Two-thirds of men (64%) had had beer goggle sex – and most (76%) had not seen the woman for a second date.

Despite these findings, 68% of women and 82% of men like to drink alcohol on a first date.
The main reason both sexes hit the booze is that it ‘helps to break the ice’ – chosen by 72% of women and 87% of men.

Most men (77%) and the majority of women (64%) said they felt more confident after a drink.

The most popular time to wear beer goggles is when you are student.

More than half of men (54%) and 48% of women said they had had beer goggle sex when they were at college.

IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said:

“Dating is a stressful business – you are meeting a new person and need to make a good impression fast.

It’s no wonder that both sexes finding that drinking alcohol makes the whole process a lot easier.

As the booze flows, inevitably the beer goggles come on and dates that might have finished with a quick peck on the cheek end up going far further.

That is the experience of millions of people who are dating online including lots of members of IllicitEncounters.com – you end up kissing a few ugly ducklings before meeting your swan.

Beer goggle sex may not lead to true love most of the time, but it can often be a lot of fun.”

llicitEncounters.com has more than a million members in the UK.

Most of its male members are white collar professionals earning an average of £54,000 a year.

Women on the site cheat more than men – enjoying three clandestine dates a month, compared to men’s two.

New bawls please! Sex is like tennis – women are far noisier than men, according to a new survey

* 88% of women said they were louder than their partners during love-making;
* 64% of men said their women were noisier, too;
* Most couples say sex is much better when it is noisy;
* Married men and women are quieter when having sex with their spouse than they are with their lover;
* Findings come from a new poll of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people

Women are far noisier than men when they are having sex, according to a new survey.

A whopping 88% of women admitted that they were louder than their partners during love-making, and 64% of men polled also confirmed that their female lovers drowned them out when they were getting intimate.

The findings were revealed in a poll of 1,000 people by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain’s leading dating website for married people.
With Wimbledon just weeks away, the survey found that sex is like tennis – with women making all the noise.

Making a racket in the sack adds to the fun for most couples: seven out of ten men (71%) said they liked it when their partner made noise during sex. Almost as many women (62%) said they enjoyed it when their men audibly expressed pleasure during sex.

The survey found that 59% of men and 57% of women had been overheard having sex because they were making so much noise.
A further 65% of men and 63% of women had heard other couples during love-making.

Married men and women who are unfaithful are quieter when making love to their spouse than they are with their lover.

Six out of ten women (62%) and 72% of men said they did make more noise in bed when they were cheating.

Scientists say there is no reason why women should be noisier than men – either in bed or on the tennis court.

IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said:

“Noisy sex tends to be an individual thing. Some people scream the house down at a concert, others watch without making a sound; it doesn’t mean they’re not enjoying it as much!

One theory might be that since women fake it more often than men do, perhaps they feel obliged to provide ‘evidence’ that they’re enjoying themselves?

It is interesting that people having affairs make more noise when having sex with their lovers than they do with their married partners. All of IllicitEncounters.com’s evidence suggests that this is because the sex is more exciting when you’re having an affair.

Most people who stay in a marriage while cheating on their partner say they end up straying because their sex life at home has become staid and boring.”

Men, Watch Your Backs – Nearly a Third of Guys Would Sleep with a Close Friend’s Partner!

What-to-Say-to-a-Friend-Whos-Having-an-Affair-main-650x433

Look away now fellas, as nearly a third of you (31%) would cheat with a close friend’s partner! That’s according to a survey by IllicitEncounters.com, the UK’s leading dating website for married people, who asked their male members whether, if given the chance, they’d cheat with their best friend’s partner.

Spokesperson for IllicitEncounters, Christian Grant, explained: “The idea of a ‘bromance’ only goes so far. It’s all well and good saying that you’ve got your friend’s back, but, when presented with the opportunity, a significant amount of men abandon all code and loyalty, acting purely on instinct.”

An anonymous respondent shed a little light on the situation, stating: “The buzz from the proximity/danger would be amazing,” before adding that “it would be difficult to maintain that relationship for any length of time.”

The survey also found that, astonishingly, 17% have already cheated with a close friend’s partner, with this respondent describing his experience: “She was hot. We were both frustrated with our home lives. We had the perfect excuse to see each other often. In terms of the experience it was great whilst it lasted. Very intense physically. It became more difficult though as her relationship was breaking down from both parties’ perspective and I felt she was looking for more from me.”

Another added: “We always flirted and laughed so when her husband went away I took her out one night and we ended up in a delightful 5 year-long affair.”

Grant adds: “It might be shocking to some, but things of this nature happen all the time, and not just to a guy that you know – everyone is susceptible. Heck, just look at Simon Cowell. Sure, he’s not proud of what he’s done, and he probably knew beforehand the potential implications of sleeping with his best friend’s wife, but that didn’t stop him – now he’s a father, albeit a happy and proud one.”

Interestingly, IllicitEncounters also surveyed their female members, posing the same question. In complete contrast to the men, only 12% of women claimed that they’d cheat with a close friend’s partner, with just 10% admitting that they’d already done the deed.

In fact, the general consensus amongst women was that friendship was far too precious to risk for an affair. An anonymous respondent said: “Never make love by the garden gate, love is blind but the neighbours ain’t!” As one respondent put it, “some things are sacrosanct. Friendship is one of those things.”
