About Me:

I am an educated and well off professional person, working in central London, well dressed and well preserved even though I have hit the big 5. No wooden leg or other artificial appendages and all my own teeth. Good company, I make people laugh and am a sympathetic listener often asked for advice by friends and relations. I love intelligent conversation, music (especially choral music and opera), good books, great food, real ale and walking in beautiful countryside. I spend some time traveling on business and have an apartment in Europe's most romantic city that is available to share occasionally with the right person as well as meeting up regularly in London or nearby. Though conventional on the outside, I hold unexpected views and tend to let my sense of humour get the better of me.

I am very definite that I want a single, consistent, long lasting and genuine friendship with one person, involving not just sex but mutual respect, support and laughter. I have grey green eyes and a smiley face, hair usually cut short, now a few flecks of grey. Medium height and build, I train twice a week so have a few muscles and can get up the stairs two at a time. I dress in suits for work if I cant avoid it but prefer to be more informal.

Ideal Partner:

I am looking for an intelligent, educated lady who is, like me, keen for some romance and adventure outside a dull marriage. Someone with things to talk about - if she shares my interests so much the better, but I am also hoping to learn about hers and expand my mind. She will live in southern England and ideally in London so that we can meet up easily after work or during the day. My ideal companion will make me laugh while finding me amusing too, and enjoy being spoilt in nice restaurants and hotels.
