About Me:

Here goes! Brought up and living in the countryside, I hold rural values close to heart. I am a very practical person with a lot of practical skills, hence being keen on DIY, mechanics etc. I have all sorts of interests from classical architecture to physics and astronomy, but I hasten to add these do not include most ball sports. I much prefer athletics, gymnastics and sports that require a focused individual effort. I like most things on TV except soaps and reality shows - that accounts for a large amount of the programmes we're served with I think!! I have a pragmatic approach to most things. I am quite laid back, dont get very stressed out very easily (or so i appear on the surface!) and have a very good sense of humour - I really enjoy banter and inuendo!! I'm generally very chatty and can hold a conversation on most topics and have reasonable conversional skills and quite tactful. I consider myself honest and sincere though it might seem rather ironic that I'm on this site!! My work has a tendancy to rule my life, I have been a workaholic in the past, but I have improved somewhat. I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to any relationship unfortunately (by that I mean meetings) so I would be best suited to someone with similar restrictions. My height is just under 6'2" and I weigh about 14.5st. Luckily I have managed to retain all my hair as yet which I keep in a tidy style though it is going a bit grey now. Physically I am in quite reasonable condition. I do exercise but I'm a firm believer that mental attitude has a lot to do with it. I refuse to let myself get sloppy!! As yet I haven't got varicose veins either! I am clean shaven and I would say I dress smart casual. I always wear a tie to work. Personal hygiene is very important to me as is fresh breath! I suppose my hair is my best feature, at least it gets most comments.

Ideal Partner:

My ideal woman would be over 45 as below that age I think there would be attitude and outlook issues. I prefer a woman to be in smart office dress even though it does take away ones individuality, but I do have a taste for sexy styles!Obviously most appearances are superficial. I would like her to be confident in her appearance. She must also understand how serious the situation is as there is so much at stake! The most important factors for me are being sincere, friendly, tactile, humourous with an amiable disposition, and a good kisser,! Someone who would give me butterflies even when she texts me - forgot to say, I'm something of a romantic!!
