About Me:

This is not going to be easy for me as I'm usually a quite self effacing person.
Here goes . . . I am trapped in a bad marriage to a "difficult" women. I have stayed in it so that my daughter could have an intact home. In that respect I know it was the right thing for me to do and have no regrets.
I have recently retired and have taken stock of my life and realise there are things I miss. I have become a bit of a loner but I do miss female company, good conversation, intimacy and affection.
Overall I have a good life, I have a Narrow boat and spend four days a week living on that which has helped preserve my sanity. My main past time is walking, mostly fell walking in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Oh no! Even more difficult to do.
I am 5'10. fair/grey hair. Although I am fit I could do with dropping a stone, especially after Christmas with all the comfort eating I have done.
If you are looking for "film star" looks move on a smile and friendly eyes is about the best I can honestly admit to.
