About Me:

I am an intelligent, kind caring man who lives in the Bristol region of the UK. I am relaxed, genuine, kind and caring, with a great (if sometimes offbeat) sense of humour. I am confident, have a job I love, and currently live alone. I am very tolerant and do not get on well with people who hold fixed views, or do not want to see another point of view. I believe that a man should be a partner, and not someone who is bossy, pushy or expecting. I think roles should be shared 50:50. I am a musician, a writer and also love photography. I have interests in many unconventional topics but I am also sceptical and do not believe things that I read, or am told, at face value. I enjoy being social, I love good conversation, fine wine, seeing live music, seeing films and plays, cooking, walking, cycling, canoeing, tennis, and having a good time under the motto 'you only live once.' I seek someone who is either looking for friendship (yes I do understand the difference between platonic and more) or a relationship, whether longer term or more exploratory. I am not looking for a string of parallel relationshops by the way. I seek someone who is intelligent (especially in the emotional sense) who is fun and enjoys living life to the full and grasping opportunities for development, new experiences and sometimes even taking a few risks. I have lots of other interests but it would be more fun, with the right person, to explore these further. Male living in Bristol area. Slim to medium build, 6' tall, green eyes. I dress across the range, suits (sometimes for work, not enjoyed) to more casual clothing (more 'urban' than M&S). Sense of humour is a major part of me, as well as a capacity to take adversity in my stride.

Ideal Partner:

I seek a relationship or friendship with someone who appreciates intelligence and humour, and who also has these attributes. I am perhaps less usual than most men when I honestly say that the mind of the person I seek is probably more important than their body. I am just joining this site so am not certain of what people on here are looking for. I would be happy to enter exploratory friendships or relationships, and would of course be very discrete, if required. If I found someone with whom a long term relationship could develop I would want to focus exclusively on that. I am looking for something more than very casual encounters.
