About Me:

Just approaching my half a century physically, but mentally still in my early thirties (now that was a lovely age to be), bubbly, self confident, motivated and forward thinking. Definitely a glass half full type of girl. I have a very open manner and an off the wall sense of humour. Am dealing with some major changes in my life at the moment (positively and doing okay) and not looking for a major full on relationship but would like there to be someone there that I care about and who cares for me too. Am I being naive on this site?
My ideal evening out is an intimate meal in a cosy pub/restaurant with a lit candle to dip my finger into and play with the warm wax and make an unholy mess whilst you captivate me with your conversation.
My ideal weekend away would in a country cottage out in the sticks, one with a log burner maybe. We'd go for long walks wrapped up against the cold. Call in at a country pub for lunch and then head back for a cosy night in front of the burner and forget the world exists. Yep! I'm a bit of a romantic.

Oh as a footnote to this, fairly local to herts/beds/bucks is best, I work within a budget and can't afford to be too far afield. I'm petite and slim if not toned, but hey I'm approaching the autumn of my years and you can't have everything. Blond mid length hair, green eyes, fair skinned, best features are my eyes. I dress up or down depending on the occasion. I'm not into brand types. I would never pay £500 for a handbag or shoes. I have the same style and dress sense I did when I was in my thirties and I dress to accentuate my figure.

Ideal Partner:

I wish I didnt have a type and have tried to overcome this but sadly I do.... or maybe that should read I have a type that really doesn't work for me.
I prefer tall guys between 5'10 and 6'2 any taller and we would look ridiculous together. I generally am drawn to dark hair over blond, a degree of facial hair is mmmmmmmm. Nice eyes are my weakness as are a great backside. You do not need to be a gym junkie, have muscles that Mike Tyson would envy, I'm not hoping for Mr Universe....just generally be in fairly reasonable shape due to you caring about how you look.
Hair is a must, as is a slimish build, everyone can carry a little extra weight and some guys carry it well. But if you think you are a bit overweight and could lose a chin or two or a few inches around the middle....then so will I and if your happy to stare down when naked and not being able to wave hello to Seth, well.... lets say, I won't be doing it on your behalf. It may all seem a bit prescriptive and superficial but I've been in the situation where I've tried to ignore what doesn't work to see physically and tried for personality but I ended up hurting a guy that i was fond with because ultimately it did matter. I don't want to be in that situation again. Deep down we all have our types even if we aren't always brave enough to own up to it.
