About Me:

Never done this before, so - I'm retired from Education, though now have a (very) part-time job. I was married for many years and have two grown-up children, but for seven years have been in a relationship I don't want to lose. Ubfortunately for a long time there has been no physical affection in it, and I've decided to do something about it at last....
I love books and reading, music from classical to Bob Dylan, and spend lots of time in my garden. I play the piano and paint, and walk a lot in the wonderful countryside where I live.
I suppose I'm a passionate sort of person, rather than a "take it or leave it" type, as I get very engaged in whatever I'm doing..and I love good company.
I've travelled a lot since retirement, and particularly love Greece, which has everything I want in a holiday - natural beauty, great history and a bit of hedonism; I love swimming.
I've lived a varied life in different parts of the country, and am not ready to call it a day yet! I'm 5'6", used to be "willowy" but not any more......rich brown hair and good eyes (though I wear specs now). Skin that tans easily.
I spend most of the time in jeans and a sweater at home, as I love the outdoors and usually spend part of the day in the garden, BUT, I also love good clothes, from classic to boho, and relish the opportunity to dress up for a concert, film or meal out.

Ideal Partner:

I'm looking for someone who understands my situation,is not too demanding time-wise, and above all, discreet. I'd like them to be kind, affectionate and honest, as far as possible.....a fairly out-going person who makes me laugh...most kinds of loving will be received with open arms, and returned in full!
Preferably taller than me, but I don't want to be prescriptive as attraction strikes in many forms..and intimacy can soon grow out of friendship.
I'm usually free every third or fourth week, so am hoping to meet about once a month, distance 20-50 miles away.
