About Me:

I can come across as slightly reserved, but underneath I am warm and emotional. I have an intuitive, analytical intelligence, a wicked sense of humour, and I love debate and discussion. I am quite unconventional, and I make up my own mind about issues. I very rarely follow the crowd. I do the things that I am interested in, and I am not preoccuoied with appearances, position or money.

My career involved travel, responsibility, very challenging situations, and a need to make difficult, on a couple of occasions life-or-death decisions. I am calm, quietly confident in my own abilities and I never stress over minor issues. My son has Asperger's, and I am very committed to supporting him.

I sail and I have my own yacht. and I race a dinghy when I can. I love fast cars, but I am a fairly careful driver. My favourite author is Terry Pratchett, which tells you a lot about me! I enjoy films, theatre, ballet and most classical and folk music, but my real passion is for Edith Piaf, Marlene Dietrich, and other smoky 40's cabaret singers....

I am of average height, build and weight,with broad shoulders and narrow hips; I keep myself fit and I work out every day. If you were kind you could say I look rugged, if you weren't...... well, you will stand out in comparison! My work required me to be formal, but I prefer to dress casually, but smartly

Ideal Partner:

I enjoy female company, and my best friend was a woman. We had a close, platonic relationship but sadly she died, and I miss her tremendously.

I am looking for a wickedly exciting clandestine affair: stolen meetings. intimate texts, romantic dinners, a discreet hotel, a walk arm-in-arm through a beautiful garden. I like to think that I am a considerate, experienced and accomplished lover, but if you are a little shy, or uncertain about being on IE, I can also be your reassuring companion and supportive friend.

I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and from all walks of life, and I am not searching for an "ideal woman"! I don't have any rigid expectations of a relationship: what is important is that it really works for both parties.
