About Me:

Quiet; not usually exciteable; extremely reliable; recipient of a Boring Old Fart mug for my birthday but have been assured it was given in jest; not into gadgets and gizmos, prefer the natural world, animals, birds, rocks, the sea, the hills, the colour of the sky at dawn and that sort of thing;
enjoy food but I eat to live, not live to eat and am quite happy with cheese and biscuits and a glass of wine.
Like some TV but often I'd rather go for a walk. Can't stand football or computer games. Tall, I try to keep fit(ish) and though I'm starting to accumulate a bit around where my waist used to be I'm still not in bad condition.
I dress simply - i.e. jeans, lightweight walking boots, fleece or Berghaus jacket though there are photos of me all scrubbed up and fit to meet Important People. Or people who think they are important.

Ideal Partner:

What am I looking for? Difficyult to be fdefinitive as I am very adaptable to circumstances but ideally something that the other sites I've looked at don't seem to offer. An e-companion, someone who has the same needs as me - someone to write to. To share thoughts,with, to off-load from time to time. Maybe to meet up with on occasion - though always with no ulterior motive and a fundamental respect for the other's feelings. Probably someone who is married and in love with their partner but for whom the spark has - temporarily?- gone out. Somone needing a friend. Not necessarily a sex-buddy: if we click and it's mutual then fine but if you just want to have a coffee when we meet then fine also.
Something easy for us both.
