About Me:

I ama retired male. I used to work as a computer typesetter for a large investment management firm in Edinburgh. I have my own computer and like to write short booklets, currently I am working on a series of guide books to the disused railways of edinburgh. I like all types of music except grand opera or country and western, mainly the music of the 20s and 30s as well as Scottish Country Dance.
I am reasonably fit for my age as I am trying to walk at least 20 miles per week. My hobbies are reading all types of fiction and most types of non-fiction, walking, computer activities (not games), music, and model trams. I am just short of 5'6" tall of medium build and shape, nothing spectacular. I have a short beard and moustache (mainly because I am too lazy to shave regularly) and fairly short hair which is very dark brown but nowadays going quite grey round the edges (distinguished some call it!). Since I retired I tend to dress casual but can brush up quite well when the occasion demands.

Ideal Partner:

I am not really sure of the type of person I am looking for, I am quite easyu about that. I am basicaly looking for friendship, if the lady wants to get a bit naughty then I am up for that. Personality is more important to me than looks althpough good looks are of course a bonus. I would not judge the morals of a lady who expressed an interest in me and would expect her not to judge mine either. I would really prefer that she lives within Edinburgh or at least on a convenient bus route as I do not have a car.
