About Me:

Where to start,(I hate these things but here goes!).Been seperated for a while now, work hard Mon-Fri and live for the week-ends, which up until now spent with my kids but as they are grown up I feel it's time for some "Me" time, though they still live with me so finding that time can be difficult! First impressions would say I'm shy and quiet,some might say "moody" but my friends say that once you get to know me I have a wicked sense of humour (think the WKD ads on telly!!). Love Footy,both watching and trying to play,also love music with a passion, have it on where ever I go(think I have the music channels on tv more than the kids)and listen to all types, think that's due to my mixed blood (born in aberdeen but have English, Irish and a few others running through my veins. Have walking boots but don't get used as much as they used to, which is a pity. Not a nightclub person, been there got the t-shirt,now more of quiet pub person, like the odd dram of malt, hence the user name but also partial to a beer or glass of wine watching something interesting on tv (please god not reality stuff). Ideal weekend could be city break but just as happy in a hotel in the middle of nowhere.. I may be in my 40's but my brain likes to think I'm still in my 20's.... Would like to say "think George Clooney" but maybe not. 5" 11", used to have full head of hair but not anymore! not bald but keep it fairly short (hey, helped bring up kids so regularly made me pull it out, still do at times!)and there is now more grey than brown if I'm honest.Best feature would be my eyes. Wear shirt & tie at work, but am happiest in t-shirt, jeans and trainers, think I still dress quite smart for my age, my kids make sure I don't stray into what they term "granda clothes" yet.

Ideal Partner:

Looking for a woman who I can have fun with. Looks are not a major factor, think a personality is far more important(honestly). Someone who has a good sense of humour and is not afraid to laugh at themselves if the need arises but can be serious too. Got to be able to have good conversations on a range of subjects and have their own opinion on things and be prepared to stand up for what they believe in. I know discretion is important, I've rocked the boat and had mine rocked too in the past, so will make sure it won't happen again. Would prefer NE area but would be prepared to travel for the right person. Not expecting to find my soulmate but you never know, just take things as they come......
