About Me:

Like most of us, I have thought long and hard about being on this site but do know I need something more in my life, so here goes...I have been married for 20+ years, have an 14 year old son and although not terribly unhappy I feel that any sparkle we once had has disappeared. Sometimes I feel very lonely and being honest, although I respect my husband, we don't talk very much and there is no affection or love between us anymore. It's obvious we have grown apart but we choose to stay together and 'get on with it'. I am a warm, honest and very loyal person and know that something is missing from my life. I am not looking to end this marriage but just enhance my life. I want to get some excitement back and be able dress up to meet someone. It seems a long time since I've had anyone say that I look nice and I just want to feel appreciated and get 'butterflies' in my stomach again. I am 50, work part time and get on very easily with other people. I have a large network of very close friends and socialise quite a lot. I am petite - 5ft 1 inch and always like to look my best. I am more comfortable in casual clothes but can easily dress for the occasion. I yearn to be able to hold an intelligent, meaningful conversation with someone as my husband and I rarely talk about anything other than daily routine things. I am a good listener and would love to meet up with someone over a glass of wine and talk about anything and everything!

Ideal Partner:

Ideally, I would like to meet someone who lives or works in the London/Greater London area. Not only do I work part-time but my husband is used to me going out on a regualar basis so evenings are also not too much of a problem for me. I am looking for someone who ideally is married or in a relationship, but like me would like something more in their lives.
