Hello out there in dating land!

Recently retired early due to prudent investing meant I could leave a fulfilling,highly technical,safety related career in aviation.I worked a shift roster for nearly 25 years and I’m finally free to pursue my hobbies,travel,dining out and all those great things which were not always possible before.It’s opened up a whole new world and I realised what I’d been missing socially.

Physically I’m 5ft 9” so obviously if you’re my height or thereabouts I wouldn’t be for you if you wanted to wear your heels.But if you’re shorter than me it would be easier for you as you wouldn’t suffer neck ache gazing up at a 6 ft gent.I consider myself attractive,easy on the eye,broad shouldered with solid pecs and build.I’m a silver fox having most of my hair,broad smile and thoughtful nature.I’m ultra discreet and easy to converse with.I always dress to impress in any scenario.I always wear polished high quality shoes and am scrupulously clean wearing quality cologne.

I’m looking for wherever this takes me.The cynical would say it’s notches on the bedpost but it’s not the case.I’m not concerned about travel especially to London as I’d like to enhance my knowledge from the myriad of museums,sights,concert venues and theatre.I am,however,seeking a lady who wants to put in as much effort as I do.A footnote here is that I’m very much a say it as it is gent so the War and Peace profiles with huge demands don’t pique my interest too much…..

I also like to think that in this equality driven world why shouldn’t a lady make the first move these days?Faint heart never won a decent man….

Manners makers the man so the phrase goes and I was raised properly to be polite and well mannered.I’m astounded at some of the below the belt comments on some profiles I’ve read.I’m looking for one lady who is well mannered,attractive,figure in proportion and keeps herself presentable without being vane which seems to be so common these days?She certainly won’t make copious use of the word ‘busy’-ie not replying to messages etc.I’m very communicative but I think it’s not unreasonable to think a lady could send a nice message in the morning.Men like to feel special and desired as well….
