About Me:

I'm a work from home entrepreneur who started off as a scientist. I enjoy thinking and talking about clever ideas, and reading - lots of reading. For the moment I am my own boss and so in control of my day schedule (and could also do occasional sneaky evenings out).

I grew up in a warm, sunny place and spent my youth in the water - including competitive swimming, although that's now half a lifetime ago. Being in the water is one if my favourite things to do, so beach holidays are a clear favourite (but active holidays otherwise preferred). Swimming, gym, and running are the main ways I escape a sedentary lifestyle. I'm slim and in the process of toning the muscles, and generally sport a short-ish beard. Enough sexual energy for my current partner with plenty to spare, and with more adventurous tastes than hers that are looking for an outlet. I am turned on by seeing a partner's pleasure and have never yet had a partner whose flavour was anything less than delicious.

I'm part-way through raising little people; I'm looking for new connection, taking pleasure in new opportunities, and flexing the individuality inside me that's taken a backseat for a few years. I enjoy company and appreciate a wide variety of personalities and views; I'm often quiet to start but can get carried away in a flow of conversation if it catches me.

I'm more into nights in than pubs or clubbing - but will happily chat over coffee or a drink on occasion; I enjoy watching movies or TV but haven't watched regular programmed TV for many years (please spare me reality TV, game shows and Strictly).

Ideal Partner:

Active and confident, my ideal partner glows from her inner positivity. She loves ideas, discussion, and being challenged - but she's tolerant and understanding about people who are different from her.

I'm not looking to alter my own or others' domestic arrangements, and open to anything from a suggestive one-time meet over coffee to an indefinite series of illicit encounters. Ideally someone able to meet up within an hour's drive from Cambridge, or in London as I regularly travel there.

In terms of looks, body shape, etc: I have wide tastes. It is what you do with it that counts, after all ;-)

To be honest, the thing that most turns me on about you will likely be something I hadn't even thought about, or possibly even thought I wouldn't like!
