About Me:

*Taking a break from IE coz some of the interactions have left me with a few trust issues (oh the irony, cry me a river, I know!). However I still hope to make that one meaningful connection - will probably try again when the clocks go back and the sun disappears but wouldn't want anyone to think they're being ignored in the meantime.*

It's my eternal misfortune that the masculine ideal is tall, dark and handsome, while nature's cursed me with being short, bald and meh! However, if you can overlook these deficiencies, I'm also thoughtful, intelligent, creative and stylish (a man has to work harder when he's not God's gift, and I'm still just about staving off the dad bod to keep hold of my abs).

What brings me here? I've been with my wife since we were 18 and she's still my best friend. But early onset menopause torpedoed her libido and my physical desires have been collateral damage, along with the emotional connection that comes from being intimate. Never thought I'd be the type to play away but patience isn't endless and there's a seven-year itch that seriously needs scratching, so I hope to find the right woman with whom to enjoy a grown-up relationship that makes us feel younger than our years...

Ideal Partner:

Given my stature (5'7"), I'm better suited to the petite type. Other than that, a connection matters above all else - the mind is the largest erogenous zone so that's the first thing that needs exercising. And mutual compatibility extends to availability - I'm lucky enough to WFH in a pretty flexible capacity so I can make time for someone in between school runs but the kids own the hours either side. If I'm lucky enough to find "the (other) one" then I hope availability might extend to the occasional weekend away so that we can really indulge each other.
