Interesting, positive, and sometimes enigmatic male seeks an interesting female to share food, wine and stimulating conversations in the heart of this cold, crazy city they call London. Not yet grumpy or cynical, I am interested in history, sport, music, wine and interesting people. I can talk about anything and everything.

I am conventionally successful with an irreverent view of life and I find humour in most things - though not always appropriate for our modern, post-truth times. I am in good shape, stand 5 foot ten tall when I'm not sitting, with superbly-shaped calves , blue eyes, brown hair and usually wearing a smile . I waver between intellectual, tongue-in-cheek, boyish and sensible depending on company, wine consumption and moon phase. Quite a range, but always kind, playful and reliable.

Our first date wil be over a glass of something and possibly some food and we'll see how it goes. No preconceived expectations, but always the possibility of something both meaningful and enjoyable.

What kind of woman am I looking for? First of all they must exist in the flesh (no fantasists), live or work in London, be reliable and like to laugh. In my imagination they will be funny with great conversation, a hint of sarcasm and playfulness, and willing to embark on an adventure. I know that these kind of ladies come in all shapes and sizes, so no preconceptions about looks, although nice teeth and hair will always be a winner.
