I'm no Auden, Shelley or Keats,
But, boy, I enjoy poetry as much as I like my tea!

Although I drink copious amounts of coffee a day,
This brew goes so much better with a nice moist cake!

Long walks in nature and playing tennis for fun,
These are the pursuits best enjoyed in the sun!

Keen interest in reading and staying abreast of the news,
There is sadly not much time for these nowadays, and that's not an excuse!

With the responsibilities of day-to-day life and the kiddies running around,
It's now more about listening to podcasts, some very high-brow, others not so profound.

From Bach to Tom Waits,
These are some of my music tastes!
They are as diverse as can be,
Well, a little bit like me!

Looking for passion and hopefully an instant spark,
Those butterflies-in-the-stomach feeling like a blissful day in the park!

A long warm embrace and lots of kissing is very much on my mind,
That's essentially it in terms of what I am hoping to find!
