About Me:

Dog owner and lover, adores cooking for “my” lady, a gentleman but not a prude….and most importantly a man who adores the company of a lady, and if my time here results in a new relationship, even better.

A bit of background about me: I’m university educated, and my first career was in finance; following early retirement I now have my own consulting business, which I love. I'm currently married but looking for something that goes wherever it leads, including long term.

Physically I have grey eyes, l’m tall, average size and grey hair. Due to a few years I do need my glasses to read or see anything you send…

Media wise, I like The Avengers and Jurassic Park as opposed to Musicals. BBC Radio 4 is often on, including Woman’s Hour.

If we go on dates I am definitely taking you to the ballet followed by a late supper at a particular restaurant in Jermyn Street, followed by a slow stroll along the banks of the Thames with your hand in mine as we both talk - playful, serious, teasing, flirty and plain rude - perfect! The same goes with The National Gallery for daytime dates.

Closer to my current home base, preparing a picnic from scratch and ensuring a relaxed, playful, romantic and adult day in nature is a given.

Some of the things people have said about me include: I am practical, thoughtful and imaginative. Due to growing up abroad I love learning about other’s experiences overseas.

Ideal Partner:

Open mindedness is the most important trait for me. I have loved leftish, central and conservative ladies, and with all it has been a genuine joy listening to them when discussing something important to their central beliefs, even if they are the opposite of mine.

So often I have been asked “what is your type?” The answer - there isn’t one. I love brunettes, blondes, redheads, greys and coloured hair; probably the one preference is feminine or longer in length and style, but even that I can totally contradict myself - it’s the person that I am attracted to. The same applies to “figures”…

You must like dogs - I have three large breeds, and if we meet, they could accompany us on walks in the forest if that appeals to the animal lovers here. Otherwise, they stay at home while we flirt!

Also, I love to cook, and hope you might enjoy picnics made from scratch? With that comes an enjoyment of perhaps seeing you blush as I hold you and tell you how beautiful you are.

Overall however - just be you, and let’s see if there is a spark.
