About Me:

Who I am and how I spend my time…
Those things can be quite contradictory, can’t they, especially given that we’ve all found our way to this site.
I spend my time looking after my family, working in a job I love, seeing friends, remembering birthdays, making art when I have the time, cooking, watching films, the usual.
Who I am is slightly complicated. I spent many years doing exactly (exactly) what I wanted, when I wanted, and with whom I wanted. I was lucky to feel unburdened by the pressures that most people feel to settle and make do and conform… until, I did.
I woke up one day - quite literally - and decided that my life needed to have some kind of foundation. Looking back, I’m not really sure why it happened, but anyway. I met my husband, had two beautiful children, got a dog and a house, and that was that.
Except…
The person you create is not the person you are, and the person you are has an annoying way of making themselves known, at first quietly and subtly - in occasional feelings of restlessness and yearning, on summer evenings or when the wind picks up and you feel as if you could go anywhere you wanted, and then remember that you can’t. And then it becomes an overwhelming wish for something more than the life you have.
I miss the spark of the new. Chemistry. Doorway kisses and not caring who walks past. Day time drinking into the evening. Fingers tracing skin. Hotel afternoons. New cities and new secrets.
I do not want to give up what I have - I want something more, in order to keep it.

Ideal Partner:

Intelligent, opinionated, passionate, creative, open-minded, liberal, honest, self-aware and funny.

(Caveat: as long as the opinions are not of the Daily Mail variety…)

I am confident and know my own mind - I don’t play games (unless it’s in the bedroom - submissive all the way, baby), and I have no time for drama.

I am open to pretty much any quirk, fetish or leaning… just say - don’t be shy. The world of human sexuality is a varied and amazing place, and I find that narrow minds make for boring lives.
