So here’s the thing…
Why is a single lady with no attachments on here rather than a ‘normal’ dating site?
As a fiercely independent professional with little desire to share every day and night with all the accompanying chores, obligations and accountability, the notion of becoming an old-fashioned mistress to just one special educated, witty, respectful and sensual gentleman certainly has its appeal. With a long marriage and a 13 year covert relationship in my rear-view mirror, I prefer the idea of enjoying a nice meal (either in my beautiful converted chapel on the Wales / Shropshire border) or in a nice rustic restaurant, with a good bottle of wine, laughter, banter and followed by mutually enjoyable intimacy to picking up laundry, adhering to the boredom of usual marital routines or having to share the remote control.
My busy life as a university lecturer and private education teacher with a PhD in History of Art is my absolute passion but I also have a naughtier side that you don’t come across with most academics. For all my cultural awareness and so called ‘intellect’, nothing makes me happier than a good dirty joke or flirty ( but not smutty) intelligent banter.

For those who care about this sort of thing, I'm university educated, you'd normally find me at my work in education. I'm recently divorced and looking for something that goes wherever it leads me.

Probably an idea to describe my looks - blue eyes, brown hair, curvaceous and a little below average height.

I'm generally quite open minded, but I'm more of a lover of Usual Suspects and The Godfather than Apocalypse Now. I like a bit of Beyoncé and Prince and not so much of Country.
