Betelgeuse

About Me:

Retired and find myself in a lifeless and detached marriage and in need of some intelligent female company.
I am interested in most things and more than happy to learn something new. Glass half full outlook and have more questions than answers and the list of questions is getting longer.
I have a short beard and my own hair although I have to admit it's more grey than it used to be. I only wear a suit when the occasion demands it and prefer smart casual.
Like many people on this site I watch TV and listen to music but I would never describe myself in terms of a TV programme or type of music.
I believe in being honest with people (yes really) and would expect the same in return.

Ideal Partner:

This is the difficult bit. I don't have a particular type to have an illicit encounter with, just someone of a similar age to me who isn't looking for another spouse but wants to find friendship, intimacy and enjoy being with me (and I with them). Someone who can rock my boat without trying to sink it.

Appearance isn't as important to me as personality, humour, intelligence and being close to someone I can relate to.

I am solvent and generally happy with my life - just missing that spark. Looking for someone in a similar situation - preferably married. I am not the pushy type, respect others and would hope for the same from anyone I might meet.
