About Me:

I see myself as having a modern outlook on life...... open-mind, tolerant, concerned. I've been fortunate to have lived and worked in several different countries and continents..... travel certainly helps broaden the mind! I really enjoy travelling around, to big cities in particular. I'm more of a town than country person. I enjoy sunshine countries too. In fact my dream setting for the first encounter with my new 'special friend' would be in a quirky beach bar on the Med. We'd sip chilled white wine in the shade of the palm trees and have an in depth discussion around the choice of seafood restaurant for the evening's dinner. Nothing too heavy! If that sounds a bit ambitious, I'm actually quite down to earth and have a good track record in industry, despite an interest in the arts. In short, I like to think I'm a fairly pragmatic, 'rounded' individual who uses his imagination to move things along. I'm 185cm tall, broad and tend towards 'rugby rugged' rather than 'badminton delicate'. No paunch! I suppose combinations of smart, casual and modern best describes the clothes I wear other than on formal occasions. Definitely no beige! I profile myself as being 'bald' but I'm not sure this does me justice.... I prefer to describe my style as 'close cut'.

Ideal Partner:

I'd like to meet a modern, independently minded and cultured lady who's happy in her own skin. She would have a thoughtful approach to life and humour. The ability to negotiate low cars could be an advantage.
