About Me:

I am a forty three year old woman who lives in the wilds of north east Scotland. I am trapped in a loveless marriage with a man who thinks that all you have to do to be good to a woman is sign the odd cheque and buy the occasional trinket. I am not bitter. Relationships break down through faults on both sides of course I know that.

I could write pages and pages to begin with and then you would know my life story but hey I like to take things slowly. I have been badly hurt and lost a lot of confidence, but refuse to give up on life. What you do need to know straight away is that I live in a very remote and isolated place and so any 'relationship' may never amount to more than emails and phone calls. I am an absolute daydreamer, a total romantic.

I enjoy books and art, poetry especially and write a fair bit myself. I like the good things in life, nice food and wine, intelligent conversation, nice things around me, but I realise that material possessions do not make your life.

I love animals, dogs and horses especially and have ridden horses all my life. I enjoy companionship but can also be content with my own company and see any solid friendship as a bonus in my life.

I enjoy theatre and cinema but can be just as happy spending a quiet evening in with a good book and a bottle of wine.

On a good day,I am more likely to be found walking my dog on the beach than madly rushing around the shops. I am approx 5' 5" tall and have blonde hair and blue eyes. My features are quite arian. I would describe my figure as rubenesqe - yes, I probably need to lose a bit of weight, but have been told that I am an attractive and very sexy woman. That is for you to decide. I have shoulder length blonde hair a bit more curly than the photo in my profile. To give you an idea of the size of me my clothes size is `around a sixteen - certainly not more. I love any excuse to get dressed up and I like nice underwear though this would usually be bought more for a feminine look than red and black and see through! I love pretty and feminine clothes though I have to admit that the vagaries of an Island winter call only for thick jeans, heavy sweaters, scarves, hats, gloves, boots - sometimes it is hard to see 'me' under all that lot!

Ideal Partner:

Ah, this is the tricky bit. Because of where I live, it is unlikely that I am going to meet any one in the flesh.

However, it would be nice to talk to an intelligent man who loves music and art and who dreams about spending quiet evenings in reading a book and sipping a good wine while his woman lies beside him on the sofa with her head on his lap.

Or perhaps he imagines walking his dogs along the beach with his woman at his side laughing and cracking silly jokes, smiling up at the gulls and then going home to good food, companionship and intimacy.

I am not scared to admit that I am desperately lonely, but NOT clingy. I would love some affection and long to give some out in return.
