About Me:

My husband and I have lived parallel lives for years. There is a void there that I would like to fill with a friendship that is loving, loyal, fun and interesting. i would like to meet a man who is kind, intelligent, has a good sense of humour and a sense of adventure. I don't want to develop a close relationship with someone who still has a sexual relationship with his wife or partner as this would seem to me to be wrong. ( I'm not passing judgement on anyone else; it's just how I feel for myself.) Spiritual things are important in my life, as are artistic interests. I write poetry and have written (and had published) novels in the past. I also like to paint and draw. i enjoy walking in the countryside, swimming, country pubs, meals out, the theatre, folk music. I have grandchildren and a dog.

Ideal Partner:

I would like to meet a man between the age of sixty five and seventy five. Someone who, perhaps, like me, is missing that special connection in their life and doesn't have an intimate relationship with their wife or partner but feels it is not really possible at this stage of life to leave. I am looking for friendship first, and lets see where that friendship leads. Someone to care for, to laugh with, to spend special time with. Someone who has lived a lot and is broadminded, non judgemental, compassionate, intelligent, creative and fun. Is that asking for too much? Maybe. But let's see Looks obviously aren't too important at this stage of life, but I'm tallish (5 ft 6) so a tallish guy would be preferred. Chunky is nice, but not too overweight. Beards are nice, but not necessary. A great smile speaks volumes.
