About Me:

I guess I'd describe myself as a fairly thoughtful, quiet, and occasionally introspective type who has a very extroverted job, and so doesn't generally have much energy for big crowds. In the same vein I'm largely past meeting people in bars for endless small talk. I tend to much prefer interesting conversations with just one or a few people, and I get on best with people who have their own opinions and independence. I tend to be pretty open about how I feel, and what I think about people, especially in small groups or one to one.

For those who are interested I guess I'm pretty intelligent and educated (a few degrees), but also practical with quite a lot of varied life experience, INFJ if that means anything. A bit more a mathematician than a writer, but with quite a big interest in psychology. Physically slim, 5' 7" and look a fair bit younger than my actual age, whether that's a good or a bad things seems to depend on the situation!

My free time is mostly spent doing a variety of outdoor sports, mostly winter climbing, sailing or similar, and I definitely like filling my free time with things to do.

Ideal Partner:

At the moment looking for someone fun, interesting, sincere and fun to spend time with. I don't really have any pre-conceived ideas since finding what fits is both necessary and part of the fun of meeting new people. I am, however, certainly not looking for endless online messages and never actually meeting. I definitely find intelligence, sense of humour and honesty the most attractive traits a person can show, and I like people who don't try to hide how they feel.

In a comfortable relationship, but for a variety of reasons without much opportunity to spend time together or do anything fun. Looking for someone with an interest in having fun in a connected, understanding and drama-free fashion. Discretion required and provided.
