About Me:

I'm Peter a grey haired balding man looking for someone to spend time with having interesting chats. I'm not a music fan but will listen in the car when there is nothing interesting on Radio 4. I couldn't ever dance properly and appear to have two feet that go in opposite directions. I like cinema but anything over 3 hours needs a toilet break so watching on home TV is just right. Don't like car chases or violent films but prefer something similar to Jane Austen and Dickens adaptations. Fantasy books and films (Harry Potter, etc) puzzle me although I can read and watch science fiction because that could be true and in another universe is probably true. I read the Telegraph digital version and my favourite contributer is Christopher Booker. I don't agree with all he says but I find the blog that he often refers to (whatsupwiththat) to be thought provoking.

Married for a second time to a lady for 35 years who is disinterested in me and has time only for her children and intensely dislikes her step children. My mother did warn me but what can I say.

Phew. Moving on I want to be free to talk about anything to someone interesting and who has an open free ranging mind with no bigoted opinions.
I don't see the point in travelling although I will be delighted to travel to meet you. Having said that I probably don't like travelling because I did so much in my job that I developed an aversion to the interminable delays and departure gate queuing.
