About Me:

I think I can say that I'm tall, dark and handsome .... I think I can, I hope that doesn't sound arrogant.

I'm around 6 foot 1, broad shouldered, I'd like to be little slimmer (wouldn't we all), with green eyes. I'm told I have eyelashes most women would kill for.

I like to dress well - I still wear a suit and tie, dress down Friday is not for me, and I think it is important for a man to make sure he is well dressed. I'm mildly obsessed with aftershave and shoes too - Viktor & Rolf aftershave or Jeffrey West shoes are my personal favourites.

I'm not as much a materialistic tosser as these first few paragraphs sound here though. I love people generally speaking - I think they are capable of amazing things and spending time with good company is an absolute highlight of mine. I love to laugh and to make others laugh whenever I can.

I made a decision a few years ago to try to challenge myself as much as I can. No more sitting in front of the TV or wasting time - experience things, read more books, do new things .... particularly those which scare me. Life is too short!! I love my job but I'm trying to work to live rather than the other way round.

I'm married with kids and have what most consider to be a happy life ..... but it's just not enough. I know that sounds terrible, but I'm not ready to wander off gently into the good night just yet. I want something more, something different, something that's just for me. That's where this comes in.

Ideal Partner:

I'm looking for somebody who first and foremost is looking for the same as me. I don't want to change my life or do anything dramatic - I want somebody who I can spare some regular, exciting, indulgent time together.

I don't have a type at all - I find it easier to say men I think are attractive than women (Michael Fassbender, Jon Hamm, Chris Pratt, Vince Vaughn). I suppose I'm looking for somebody interesting, different, articulate and confident .... somebody who stimulates me mentally as much as anything else.

Physical attraction is important too - what are we doing this for without that? - but I don't think you can put a finger on what creates that quintessential spark. Whatever it is though, that's what I'm looking for.
