About Me:

I'm a keen cyclist, golfer and I still try to jog, sadly the years and miles are pushing that last one. Love travel particularly to France and the Continent. Now retired I keep the 'mind' active in history and genealogy research, absolutely love it. I enjoy driving my 20 year old 'classic' cabriolet car, don't panic, not a flash one. I am considerate and thoughtful of other people. I love old classic films particularly foreign language French and Italian. Brought up on Motown rather that Beatles or Stones although enjoy that too.
I've travelled extensively and lived and worked in a number of Countries for part of my life. I am, like many I'm sure, on IE to find someone to share fun and company that is maybe lacking at home. That said someone who understands the boundaries within such a discrete relationship. Something that would be mutually respected. Not here to rock the boat either way in any relationship.

I am reasonably built and keep active as one can do at my age. I enjoy being out on the bike and being outdoors whenever I can. I'm as equally comfortable in a museum or Library digging around researching for Art and history detail etc. I am more comfortable in jeans and T shirt but scrub up well in a jacket and shirt and tie as and when required. I have a full head of greying hair and am clean shaven.

Ideal Partner:

I like a women who is as happy in jeans and T shirt as they are when they dress up. Don't worry, for the special occasions dressing up nicely will be reciprocated by me and met with an appreciative acknowledgement. Not into 'types' but I do like someone who can relate to my enjoyment of travel, hobbies, sport and the outdoors. I keep active and fit and that would be an ideal description from any prospective partner. A lady who can enjoy conversation in a relaxed way. Someone who doesn't have a problem that they want to bring into a discrete relationship. All that said we all have our types. I prefer to meet and chat to people face to face when both parties are confident to do so. That way I believe you can make an honest judgement about a person rather than what is written here. I'm looking to start with some brief exchanges, then arrange a meet up over a coffee or drink to see?. Friendship and discreet NSA but special fun with both mental and physical connections. It could be nearby, but not too close, don't want to run into each other at Tesco!! Or a convenient drive away. I am often in London too.
It is more convenient for me to meet mid week daytime and maybe occasional weekday early evenings.
