Wildest excuses you’ve told to avoid getting caught…
I’ve had my fair share of nerve-wracking moments over the years when I’ve had to think on my feet to keep my affair under wraps, and it got me thinking… I can’t be the only one, right? What’s the most creative excuse you’ve used, or the closest call you’ve had, to keep your secret safe? For me, I once had to fake a car breakdown to explain why I was “running late” coming home. Nearly got caught, but it worked!

Forgot to add excuse for midnight car trip to parents. A friend had an accident and I had to help with car at midnight.

10 years back when my gf came to my house while parents were out for 2 days trip.
At midnight they parked their car and I almost had a heart attack .
I pushed her down the bed and opened the door. As soon as they went to their bedroom and slept I got her out and rushed out the car. Damn crazy night.

Harsh. I thought the mature approach from the other party was a breath of fresh air in this modern world of sociopathic attention grabbers. They showed a human understanding of their friends need to find a meaningful connection with someone.

We had spent two nights in a hotel. When Sunday morning arrived we decided to get some air and walk around a market. Ironically, we felt the need to hold hands for a moment. Before we knew it, we were face to face with my lovers husbands best friend and his wife. Although it ruined our day, she was later contacted by them. In a lovely, mature gesture they said that, what they saw was none of their business. My partner and her husband live completely separate lives.
