Perhaps it doesn't come under the title of "romantic", but he taught me what I'd never experienced before in life. Unbridled passion! Not just physically, but also in sharing other activities that we were both passionate about. So much fun and laughter came from it, that it did a World of good for our main relationships. We both became much better people to be around. It was a therapy rather than an affair.

Few years ago when I was in there, I got together with an absolutely amazing woman. We spent incredible days together. What she did that no one else I’ve ever know had done before was to help me make sense of my life. She was a trained therapist, although that wasn’t her day job. Sadly we seem to have lost touch, but what she did was one of the kindest, most lovely things anybody has ever done for me..

Very simple.

Taught me the value, and meaning of true unconditional love.

I can close my eyes now and still feel her soft hair against my lips as she nestled into my coat and nuzzled into my neck one cold and rainy night with the anber glow of the streetlights reflecting off the puddles.

Even now, it remains a precious moment frozen in a snow globe for eternity in the theatre of my mind.

It wasn't a sweeping gesture, it wasn't a moment of hystrionics or grand words or action.

But for those brief minutes time stood still. and nothing else mattered but her. In each soft breath we drew, with half closed eyes, she was my eveything.

I was romantically involved with a female work colleague. At the time, my job involved spending long periods away from home delivering training courses at locations throughout the UK and Europe. My colleague / lover often joined me at the hotels I stayed in if they weren’t too far from where she lived. However, on one occasion, I had to spend a whole week in Dublin and unbeknownst to me, my colleague had secretly made arrangements to join me. During the week, she innocently probed me about which hotel I was staying in and what my room number was? On the Wednesday night we were chatting on the phone and saying how much we missed each other when suddenly, there was a knock at my hotel room door. I paused our conversation to investigate and when I opened the door, there she was, dressed only in a basque and stockings under her full length rain coat which she was holding open to reveal her gorgeous curves and edges! An image that will last a lifetime as will the memories we created that night 😈

In the summer he whisked me off to spend a day on his new boat …. Lunch in the marina … lots of fun on the boat .. it was a gorgeous summer day.

It was nice to escape hustle and bustle of London and just be us.
