Needle in a Haystack
It's my first time trying anything like this and having looked at a lot of ladies profiles I'm beginning to think that I'm a niche bloke.
Not being 6feet tall, gym going or smart dressing seems to put me in the "get in the sea" category with many.
Have any other "niche" blokes had success finding ladies who take them as they are?

There was a time when women were expected to do nothing but take care of themselves and look good. Being intelligent and being in a better job than their partner were considered negative traits. For ages women wanted to be seen as people and not just objectified. The saying that blonds have more fun is really saying those women prepared to change their behaviour/looks to attract men have richer pickings.
It seems that we are now the ones objectified so if you meet the criteria then you will 'have more fun' but statistically that means that those who don't meet that criteria will have significantly less opportunity to meet any women.
So maybe the best way to get the type of women your looking for is to go to the gym, earn more money. pay for growth hormones and lighten the colour of your skin.

Actually, unlike some on here, I prefer someone with intelligence, someone with a good sense of humour, good personality, manners, honest, decent, reliable but above all respectful.
Yes…. There has to be some sort of connection but, as a female and Glaswegian, has wrongly pointed out, I don’t sleep around with just anyone.
If that’s someone’s, female and Glaswegian, opinion so be it. Even if it’s wrong.
And the inability to understand, on her part, to understand plain English…. 😂😏🙄

I'd say just persist. We all have preferences and make subjective choices. In terms of the profiles I've seen, very few seem to be seeking the 6ft gym bunny. Even if they are, assuming you dont tick that box, then just keep scrolling. Some people will be very prescriptive in terms of what they want, others far less so. Each to their own

OP, there is good reason for some women to want such men, eg taller, well heeled women who like to go to the gym perhaps. It is nothing personal. Just as some women like lots of hair and others prefer things neatly groomed away.
Niche, is subjective. But whatever your physique or dress sense, always remember to go in nicely scrubbed up, clean outfit on and smelling neutral/pleasant. That happens after you’ve secured the meet, by being nothing but your pure honest charming self 😉
