Personally I prefer random and surprising acts of romance through the year, than "him" being told by business that one day a year is all he needs. And besides all the cards and flowers are meaningless when it's just another night in front of the TV with a romantic TV dinner.

Reading between the lines, it is much more than someone forgetting Valentine's day.
I agree with comments where they tell you you shouldn't do things on a whim or out of revenge.
Look deep inside as to why you are here.
Most of us joined this site because something was missing in our marriages or relationships.
My advice would be, decide what you want.
No point in looking for perfection. None of us are perfect. Look for a mutual connection and attraction.
I was lucky enough to find a beautiful soul and a very attractive man who made Valentine's day very special for me.

I think it’s a bad idea to sign up to something when you are mad. Does ‘At the end of your tether’ mean that you want to find sex or excitement outside your relationship? Or do you feel that doing something like this is a kind of revenge?

It’s best not to regret your choices.

It sound like you need to take a breather and evaluate what you want when you not so mad
Making rash decisions when not fully in control of your emotions is not the way to go and it may lead you into decisions you might not otherwise make life throws curve balls at us it the way we deal with them that matters
